Review 1:Bathroom a bit too cosy and the smoke alarm activated for no reason on the last night
Review 2:quiet, location, beautiful surrounds and location great for accessing local attractions. Comfortable bed and nice a/c
Review 3:Slightly disappointed with the breakfast provisions in the fridge.Slices of supermarket bread in snaplock bags, Aldi yoghurt in original tubs, tetra paks of juice. I understand about wastage but compared to other B and Bs we've stayed in for $40 less per night including cooked breakfast, I feel it could be improved.

Review 11:The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Review 12:The rooms need to be cleaned and have that clean country smell you get when you walk outside. The shower needs a curtain so the entire bathroom doesn't get wet.

Review 14:We felt that the outside area could have been a little tidier.
Review 15:Quietness and willingness of Joanne to upgrade us to suit our needs without further cost. Lovely interior to our accommodation.we
Review 16:Curtain round shower in claw bath. Brown tap water Slightly tired carpet, Mess around verandah entrance needs sprucing up (pidgeon droppings, leaves and spider webs)
Review 17:Large rambling garden, a little overgrown
Review 18:We throughly enjoyed our week long stay at Holly Lane Mews, the location of which gave us easy access to points of interest in the Yarra Valley. The setting was very peaceful and provided many opportunites to view the plentiful wildlife within the immediate vicinity of the property. Joanne and Brian were extremely friendly and helpful hosts who were happy to assist us in any way they could. They provided us with a great deal of information about the local area and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay and would have no hesitation in booking Holly Lane Mews again. Tom and Julia
Review 19:For the price breakfast could be a bit more generous. Bread supplied stale. Fresh yoghurt, fruit and muesli & home made jam would be an improvement rather than commercially made.

Review 21:The weather, but you can't have everything.
Review 22:Joanne made us felt welcome right from the start. The room was really nice, peaceful and relaxing. During our stay it felt like a home away from home. A very tranquil setting.
Review 23:Not a place to stay if you are watching your budget (which we were supposed to be) but a great place for a treat. You get what you pay for and this is a lovely property.

Review 49:the spa was not able to be used by my partner, who has mobility issues. Potential guests should be warned that the shower requires stepping into the spa, very difficult to do even for myself, but my partner could not use the spa at all.
Review 50:the bedrooms were very spacious, with large beds, good heating and adequate kitchenette. A good TV set with easy remote control and lovely view through the bay windows.

Review 60:The setting was magical, a perfect mix of rural farm and urban luxury. We booked three units for our daughters wedding party and as most guestswere from abroad, they had a taste of Australia at its very best.Heather Holdsworth, Berkshire, uk.
Review 61:- Shower curtain - Wash basin taps - Shrubs in front of window obscuring view - Inadequate storage
Review 62:Country, period style furniture and fittings down to smallest detail. Beautifully fitted, comfortable bed Welcoming hosts
Review 63:BBQ didn't work and we shorted out the power in the room. That would have been nice to have used that instead of the electric fry pan in the room. But it didn't spoil our weekend.
Review 64:Liked the quiet peaceful surrounds. Comfortable and homely. Close to wineries in the area. Tranquil. Spa and provisions were excellent. Breakfast provisions provided. Wonderful weekend. Thank you

Review 68:continental breakfast was adequate but very basic
Review 69:* proximity to our event venue / wineries * setting was peaceful and pretty * staff were very friendly
Review 70:Was a bit dated. Exposed brick walls provide perfect hiding spaces for insects and spiders and I came across a few as well as cobwebs. The bathroom was tiny ad cramped.
Review 71:Nice spa bath, comfortable bed and reasonable spread for the continental breakfast.
Review 72:Nothing!
Review 73:The staff were lovely and very helpful. Answering many questions about the area and were best to dine for dinner. The location was beautiful. A very nice night away.

Review 79:Being surrounded by native wild life, the country side, the vintage feel of the place, small but very cosy.
Review 80:Bathroom was old world and the shower was extremely difficult to be able to shower in such a small circular shower curtain as it wrapped around one and made it almost impossible to shower. Picture did not show shower curtain - only the bath.
Review 81:Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was adequate
Review 82:Kitchen a bit too small. Pirated DVDs No heating in second bedroom Lack of wardrobe in one bedroom Huge tank/silo blocking bedroom window view Odd crockery Blocked toilet Bathroom soaps not full

Review 87:Location
Review 88:All good!
Review 89:For anyone interested in a truly idealic country retreat, this would be a first choice. This place just took my breath away...beautiful rambling gardens, a private lake, exotic birds, lovely country vistas. I immediately felt at peace. The owners were lovely, warm and very helpful. There were some great bush walking trails just down the road with wonderful views of the countryside and the little cafes in nearby Yarra Glen had some great food, in particular we loved the scones, jam and cream at Delicious. I couldn't speak highly enough of our stay, it was perfect.
Review 90:Privacy wasn't great. Without curtains closed, you could see into other rooms when you walked past. Glassware was dirty. Photo's displayed indicate a spa in the room we booked, but only a claw foot bath was there. Breakfast provided was jellied fruit and 3 pieces of bread for 2 guests. Underwhelming
Review 91:The setting was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing with lovely rambling English gardens. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The most outstanding thing was that they were willing to drive us to the wedding we were attending at a nearby winery and picked us up at the end of the evening. We hadn't realised a taxi wasn't available so greatly appreciated their offer!
