Reviews for Caspian Hostel
Review 1:Put 12 beds together in a small room and tell them all hostel. This is not enough. No enough plugs available for simple charging of phones. No privacy in the WC, close to the kitchen, no windows, no fresh air, no enough place neither to eat, sit nor chill. The terrace was heated by nature and 3 out-blowing A/C's. Can't understand how other backpackers rated this place as the best in Baku. Its by far no that.
Review 2:The kindness of the owner. She was committed and helpful. I stayed only one night, even if I had booked for 2 and get my money back for the 2nd.
Review 3:The location is up a stairs in a narrow alley. And the beds are far from comfortable for sleeping.
Review 4:It's located in the beautiful old city. The room was aircondishened. And it was the cheapest hostel I did find for my stay. The family running the hostel is very friendly, and helpful. Included in the price I paid did they wash my clothes.
Review 5:The tour to Qobustan (60 manat) is in essence good value, though the driver could show a little more enthusiasm. There is a long term guest at the hostel. Hostels shouldn't allow people to basically live there, and if they do: don't put them in a dorm.
Review 6:Location is excellent, though a little hard to find. Staff is very nice. They really try hard to keep the place tidy. Free coffee/tea. I took the overnight train to Tbilisi. It was absolutely no problem to leave my luggage during the day (after check-out) and to take a shower before leaving. Price is also reasonable, considering the ridiculous oil driven prices of other Baku accomodations.
Review 7:for me all good in this price category
Review 8:friendly owners. top location in the old town. clean. a little tricky to find yet the lady picked me outside at 5am after a call of the taxi driver...liked the place
Review 9:best hostel
