Review 1：Location was perfect. Love having the room with a separate bedroom - it was perfect for our older daughter. Staff was nice and the free hot breakfast was delicious. Definitely will be returning!

Review 2：Just a cheap motel adding few little things to make it look great.Given an handicap people room without telling us so I didn't know where to park. Next to room handicap parking only! They give you an envelope because no bother to work at your arrival. I didn't have a pen to write the stupid breakfast order piece of paper so I had to find one in the village. Even on depurture nobody was see. Ghosts motel!!! Finally price too high!

Review 10：It looks a bit run down and wonder if it changed owenership/management. Carpet was filthy as was the chair. Breakfast in past was a ticket to several local restaurants. This time was made and delivered to room. No where in room to eat except on top of bed. This was uncomfortable.

We had a lovely stay and on checkout day I spaced on time and realized we needed more and they not only said no problem but asked it we wanted a cappuccino! We will definitely go back!!!

The breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel anywhere and they even had some eggs cooked for my 20 month old daughter at no extra cost

Review 24：Came into town after an 800 mile motorcycle trip. I did not know what to expect. Exceeded my expectations by a mile. It feels more like Bed & breakfest then a motel. Very personal staff and an A+ stay. I made sure when I came back a couple days later this is where I stayed. I will stay again and recomended to anyone. Oh, the breakfest! Awesome! I had a spinach, onion, and fetta omelette delivered for a nice breakfest in bed. Served with espresso and good toast and cooked perfect. This is comming from and experienced chef to add. Best in town and the price is great too.

Review 27：This is a hip place, loved the hardwood floors and the bed was very comfy. Very clean and very well decorated, there was even a fireplace. The room came with a breakfast daily and the choices were vast and the breakfast was very tasty. Very well priced. Would highly recommend this place and we will surely be back again.

Review 29：As soon as you step into the office, you feel right at home. I believe it's father and daughter running this hotel. Both very attentive and hospitable. Breakfast (of your choosing) is even delivered at your door the next morning (in our case by a very friendly French speaking guy which was surprising :)). Great beds, clean room & bathroom. Definitely a great place to stay in this charming little town.

Review 49：I booked this for my husband's 50th birthday as part of a Route 66 and California holiday. We liked it best out of all the accomm we stayed in! The suite (El Morro) was spacious - a separate sitting room with fireplace, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one with shower), lovely bedroom with huge bed, ample storage cupboards/wardrobes. Beautifully decorated, spotless, breakfast delivered to your door as per your instructions every morning, friendly and informative owner and even a complimentary bottle of bubbly to celebrate my husband's special day. Outstanding!

Review 54：we drove from LA to San Francisco by no 1 road. Big sur is too expensive and more close to San Francisco. So we chose Morro Bay because it is the middle point between the two cities. The result is a surprise. The town is lovely and seafood is great. The hotel is clean, quite and beautiful. highly recommend.

Very considerate man, very cool place -- clean, friendly, parking was easy, rooms had a very classic feel, spacious and spotless. He is very dedicated to his guests, and his staff serves an excellent breakfast with lots of choices, delivered right to your door. I enjoyed myself thoroughly and would stay here again.

Review 62：Just fabulous - very focussed on the comfort and requirements of a guest. Beautiful room with lots of space and tastefully decorated. They even bring you breakfast (cooked!) to your door in the morning , at YOUR choice of time too ! This is how a hotel should be run. A lot of chains should take note - nothing was too much trouble.

Review 63：It has changed ownership and the experiment to offer breakfast from the premises (turns out food prep area was in the laundry/garage...?!) is most definitely not to our liking! Part of the fun of going there was the offer of breakfast meal vouchers good at local places. We'll not be coming back as the furnishings have been sadly neglected or just not cleaned properly. Sad but true.

Review 64：Again, the location and the wonderful way the units were renovated. Beds are very comfortable. The new management, did make an effort and moved us to a quieter unit when we complained about our neighbours' noise; but we all were just lucky as the walls are thin and tho we do understand young lads like to get up early in the morning and roustabout, our new accom had no one in next to us.

Everything organic and local. Excellent espresso, cappuccino and fresh squeezed orange juice. Parking next to your chalet. Well done renovated and clean rooms.

Review 66：The hotel is a motel that is being cleverly renovated into rooms and suites with a beach vibe. Our room (Urchin) was light and airy, with a comfortable bed and fresh furnishings. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully done. The staff were tremendous. We mistakenly booked a room too big for us in order to get a fireplace, but the desk clerk called immediately to switch us to a smaller, quieter room that also had a fireplace. Location is within walking distance of restaurants and shops along the strand.

The lights were on outside our room all night and the light came in, there was only one bedside table and the shower was too low for tall people! Less than we expected overall for the price, even though we got a deal, we've stayed at much better for a lot less.

The other room was adequate, but could have used updating as well - hopefully a work in progress. Fire pit in the court yard was also an inviting touch to enjoy the sunset.

Review 125：I had ordered a laptop to be delivered to a hotel in Morro Bay of my choice, Jim Bray of the Beach Bungalow Inn was the one that made me feel the safest with my delivery. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Morro Bay or needs a place to stay after a drive on the Pacific Highway. The room is excellent and the staff, both Jim and the lady that works with him were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
