Review 1：The orange juice is a weak blend and there are only chocolate and poppy seed muffins for breakfast, though the muffins are quite moist and tasty.
Review 2：Each room is slightly different, the night time dude on watch listens to quality classical music and is amiable. Every morning at 11:00 am a woman comes out of a room to pray to the sun.
Review 3：The staff was very friendly, nice rooms and very clean. I think they were remodeling some rooms at the moment but we got a new one! We also liked the pool and when asked for we got pool towels immediately.

Review 6：The staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean and cheerful. Easily located in walking distance from a great low-key Mexican steakhouse/grill (Jenny's?). I would gladly stay here again.

Review 8：The room looked like it was remodeled, and was way nicer than the outside of the motel would suggest. I'd have no issue staying here again. Barstow is a great place to stay if you have to leave LA or Vegas late in the afternoon and don't want to make the full drive.
Review 9：What should I expect for $40? All I can say is that , compared to similarly price motels on the way down, this was a bit shabby. And I had to ask for a room away from the busy highway.
Review 10：My small RV had got very dirty on the drive down from Vancouver. So I appreciated being close to a car wash. And close to Von's for provisioning And to Denny's for eating.
Review 11：No coffee, charge for ice, noisy A/C. The "value" price does not include any breakfast. Unable to get HBO as advertised. No one in the office at 7:30 AM even though the sign said it was open.

Review 15：It was the kind of hotel where you sleep on your own towels on the bed because it is so shabby. The sheets were full of stains and spots that came off with a bit of water. There were dead cockroaches on the carpet, which meant that it hadn't been vacuumed for a while. Atleast they were dead! It was actually not that cheap compared to the standard. And not anywhere near what we expected based on the reviews on this page. To top it off, the staff was unfriendly. Stay away!

Review 42：This motel was an excellent value. It was clean and had a new refrigerator and microwave, as well as a flat screen TV. There was a pool. The staff was very helpful. The sconce reading lights were very good.

As for the room, the bed was a bit hard, and the intermittent A/C fan might be distracting to those without earplugs.

Though this might not be a plus for those wishing to sleep late, the sunrise really lit up the room through the high windows in the morning (nice!). Amazingly low price, and even having to eat next door at Denny's it was still less than most places. The pool was spotlessly clean.

"how could you pick such a place?" "How can you sleep and leave sitting here afraid all alone?" "why dont you love me?" needless to say I had my hotel picking privilages revoked. oh, and I named my new friend conor, who actually blended in pretty well to the decor

Review 80：Budget Inn is a comfortable, clean place to stay at a very reasonable price. It is a well-maintained, older facility in a great location in the middle of downtown Barstow, convenient to shopping and within walking distance of several good restaurants. The staff was friendly, and I felt safe here. I stayed for 11 days on business, and I would definitely stay here again.
Review 81：The pillows weren't the most comfortable. Some were way too fat andoverstuffed, but fortunately, part of the insides could be removed,making it much more useable for sleeping.
