Reviews for Pine Ridge Inn

Review 1:No snack or drink vending machine. No room service. so plan on bringing stuff or you go without. and for the money that is crap!!! Had we known this we would have choose a place with just as nice and clean but with room service for half the price

Review 2:The tub in the room for two was nice.

Review 3:Loved everything about this hotel. I could see the river from my balcony and the staff was wonderful. I even was able to buy a bottle of the lovely hand lotion they had in my room. At night the deer walked right under our balcony.

Review 4:Pet fee 50.00 due us being informed upon arrival the pet rooms were soldout. Booking .com cost us money because you never advised the hotel thatwe had a pet. A refund maybe?

Review 5:Housekeeping : never replaced the tissue paper, when we got there the body wash bottle was empty , never replaced. Don't have toilet paper back up like in all hotels .

Review 6:Very nice property, nice staff. GM seems to be doing a great job. Staff at breakfast very friendly and hardworking . Patrick at FD very friendly and polite .

Review 7:Didn't like the bed. Hard, uncomfortable. Bed frame was noisy and a little wobbly when just turning over. Room was dark, not enough options to bring up lighting when neccessary.

Review 8:Breakfast was much better than typical continental style. Decore was nice. Grounds looked nice.

Review 9:That our stay wasn't longer. Love Bend, love being in the mountains.

Review 10:The spacious room, the separate wash/bathroom area, the balcony, quite location, delicious breakfasts and friendly staff.

Review 11:The plumbing was so loud, we heard every toilet flush and shower, other than that every thing was fantastic.

Review 12:The friendly staff, the breakfast was a wonderful surprise! The accommodations were wonderful, we will certainly be back!

Review 13:No gym facilities

Review 14:Staff were excellent, especially Sherry (the chef) and Patrick at front desk. The room alongside the breakfast was pretty awesome

Review 15:We got there at the check in time, and had to wait over an hour before our room was clean and ready, we did get complimentary beverages, but being able to get into the room would have been better.

Review 16:The staff was very sweet, they gave us complimentary wine and beer and made sure we were comfortable.

Review 17:Maybe the entrance could be a little better marked, a little bigger sign maybe.

Review 18:All the staff was extremely helpful. All and all just a great place to stay. A definite 10

Review 19:Difficult to find.

Review 20:comfortable, spacious rooms, and a very nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. We would stay there again, particularly if we were going to be in Bend for more than a day.

Review 21:Breakfast is included and is more than adequate, but a little restricted on choice.

Review 22:Fine, quiet location overlooking the Deschutes River, a short distance from the Old Mill shopping and entertainment development.

Review 23:location was great few minutes off 97. those traffic circles can throw you for a loop!! the night staff went up and beyond. awesome! we loved the resident deer that were grazing in the front grassy area!! 4:00 check-in. hoping a little earlier as we had so somewhere at 7:30 am.the next day. breakfast so good! all and all we had a great stay...... thank you booking.com team!!!!!

Review 24:The menu at breakfast didn't vary much. The ice bucket wasn't taken care of a couple of times.

Review 25:The view was great. The room was great. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Review 26:Spacious, high-ceilinged room with view & patio, tastefully decorated and well-appointed. Toiletries were the best I've ever been provided. Lovely, comfortable 4-poster bed. Quiet, private location.

Review 27:I asked about a Senior discount the gal working the desk said she could give us the discount. Then retracted and said she could not as I booked it through Booking.Com. I think if you say you are going to do something you should follow through. I am in Customer Service we not only meet the needs of our customers but exceed expectations. I was disappointed she did not follow through!

Review 28:The beds were really comfortable

Review 29:Beautiful small property, quiet and located right above the Deschutes River. Across the street from Cascade brewing so easy to walk to dinner. Breakfast was wonderful on a small balcony overlooking the river.

Review 30:no safe in room, wi-fi is spotty, inadequate lighting for reading in bed.

Review 31:the two-room suite was well appointed: comfortable bed, seating, and desk, and luxurious, well-designed bathroom facilities. staff is outstanding, including kitchen and cleaning staff.

Review 32:The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Beautiful gardens and nice terrace off our room. Very good breakfast. Nice extras - welcome local beer or wine and local cookies.

Review 33:Bed was extremely firm and when asked for padding none was offered. Breakfast was poor...as in no protein at all just carbs.

Review 34:Beautiful setting. Very nice room.

Review 35:The room was well equipped and spacious and offered great views of the Deschutes River. The breakfasts were really good. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs nearby.

Review 36:Bed wasn't as comfortable as I expected it to be.

Review 37:Room was very nice and spatious. Gorgeous view of the Deschutes River. Old Mill District is walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Review 38:The shower curtain smelled bad, we left our breakfast trays on table and came back in the evening and they were still there!

Review 39:Loved the room size and location, comfortable living area with fireplace.

Review 40:My only complaint is that the hotel seems to be in a dead zone for cell phones (both T-Mobile and ATT). I had to step out into the parking lot and had great reception there. Not sure what happens when you enter the building.

Review 41:Very nice room with a patio overlooking the Deschutes River and a working fireplace. Excellent breakfast, not buffet but cooked to order with choice of egg dish or pancake/waffle. Also they have DVD players and a selection of movies if you can't stand commercial TV. The welcome glass of wine or beer is also a nice touch.

Review 42:The roots under the aspalt; it made driving like going through a mobile home park with speed bumps.

Review 43:The absolute peace and quiet. The quail were cute too! Breakfast was served to us. We didn't have to prepare our own on styrofoam plates with paper cups. Very classy.

Review 44:Hotel room was very warm and we couldn't open any windows because our room was on the ground floor (i think all of them were) so we would have had to sleep with the door open onto the car park which wouldn't have felt particular wise. Slept under a sheet when i would have prefered a duvet but it was just too hot. Probably just good room insulation but most American hotel rooms in my opinion are too warm for me so who knows the reasons.

Review 45:Large pleasant room, good internet, breakfast room overlooking the river. Its about a 20 min walk to the 'Mill District' (restaurants, cinema, bars, mall type shopping) and around 35 min walk to the town centre. Its a pleasant walk though along the river and it was nice after being in the car most of the day.

Review 46:The location to other areas of interest is great. Now getting to thehotel is s bit tricky. Thank God for map quest. But worth the tricky bitgetting to the hotel.

Review 47:This was a bit out off downtown. As usual we received what was probably the worst of the same room class reserved through booking.com, it was right off the front desk and river view was obstructed.

Review 48:Room was spacious, deck nice, staff friendly and professional, and the hot breakfast solid though I would probably do brunch in town next time. Overall a good option but a bit more corporate feeling and out of the way than I expected.

Review 49:Absolutely nothing.

Review 50:Facilities are first class-nothing cheap about it. Spacious rooms. Wine, cookies and cooked breakfast were all nice touches. Good walking along the river readily accessible

Review 51:The room was lovely and the bed comfortable -high four poster bed. A nice fireplace set the mood and the bathroom was upscale without deviating from a rustic theme. Breakfast was excellent.

Review 52:A bit spendy for one night's stay.

Review 53:Loved the view of the river and walking path from our room. Welcome beverage was a nice touch. Room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable.

Review 54:River is pretty far down from the inn, though you have a river view, it should not be confused with river access, and it is not a reasonable walking distance to downtown. Breakfasts were small, with very little choice. Again, not exactly as advertised.

Review 55:Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful.

Review 56:Poor bedside lighting, sloppy caulking in bathroom, poor tv, no bathrobes, overall too high priced for quality of room, homeless on edge of property

Review 57:view from room

Review 58:The gratis "welcome" beverage was a nice touch. Room well laid out, comfortable bed and clean. The breakfast was a nice addition to the stay.

Review 59:I was to have a riverview room, however on arriving early evening a room was not available. The staff person did adjust my room rate and offer an upgrade on my next stay which I will take advantage of.

Review 60:Location. facilities, comfort, excellent fresh made and served breakfast. Nice people

Review 61:Nothing

Review 62:The location was in a lovely residential neighborhood, very quiet and scenic. Not far to travel to the amenities and restaurants and the room was really nice. Breakfast was a nice surprise and on booking in there was a glass of wine or beer offered. Really pleasant stay and would definitely stay there again!!

Review 63:We were told we had a river view room but in reality it was a parking lot view. Balcony made up for some. There was no housekeeping service except for delivery of new towels (3 night stay); more tables in breakfast area; the dresser drawers needed vacuuming from previous tenant (dried mud).

Review 64:Spacious; bathroom setup with two sinks/mirrors and separate bath; second floor balcony; suite size; very quiet stay (except for noisy twins at breakfast); breakfast was excellent and a nice change; good walking trails right outside the door; beautiful facilities overall; friendly staff; the quietest hotel I have ever experienced (except twin boys at breakfast, which you cannot control) with no noise in the hallway or in next rooms. Very nice facilities!

Review 65:the very light breakfast

Review 66:the building and its green environment the superb rooms : spacious and very well equipped the terrace of the room with a beautiful view

Review 67:Wished to purchase a few Dani items upon departure but found that 2 of the 3 I had hoped for were out of stock as another guest bought everything. Luckily, when I contacted Dani directly upon returning home, they waived S&H and sent me what I needed.

Review 68:Enjoyed the local products used at the hotel - Dani. Beautifully appointed rooms - we had been upgraded to a suite - don't know why, but loved the treat! We also loved the breakfast!

Review 69:Room was perfect! With gorgeous view of Deschutes River from private patio. Walking distance to Old Mill District, shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

Review 70:It was a little hard to find from the directions. The outside of the building is a little plain but it is very well kept.

Review 71:The room was beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful. Then we took a walk along the river which was right outside our door. Each staff member we encountered was very friendly.

Review 72:Our reservation through Booking.com was for a river view and the inn couldn't accommodate the request. They blamed the website, that it was incorrect though it was impossible for us to know that and expected a river view when we arrived.

Review 73:The room was comfortable and well appointed

Review 74:There was mold in the shower. The room was dusty. Housekeeping needs closer attention.

Review 75:They allow dogs and provided a dog bed, water and food bowls in our room which was a nice touch. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to requests. The rooms are large and the bed comfortable. It was very quiet even though they were sold out while we were there. The views are great and access to the Deschutes River trail and the Bend Mill District is an easy walk. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Review 76:Room was not made up properly . Sofa bed not made.Bedding was torn. Not of the quality expected.Breakfast arrangement was slightly odd.

Review 77:Large room . Good location.

Review 78:Airconditioning was not able to handle the 95 degree weather, but there was a fan and the cooler night air that helped. The manager did give a small reduction in price for the room.

Review 79:Loved the breakfast and the homey feel. Super pillows and bedding. Keurig coffee pot was a nice perk!

Review 80:Incredibly helpful staff. Booking.com has accidentally canceled our reservation for one day when we had booked two nonconsecutive days and the staff found us a room in another hotel quickly. They went beyond helpful. The room was luxurious with free glass of wine and lovely breakfast.

Review 81:Wifi could have been better and a chocolate chip cookie everynight wouldn't hurt either.

Review 82:The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The chocolate chip cookie was terrific as were the breakfasts in the morning. Loved the warm lemon muffins. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful views of the river.

Review 83:The bed was too hard.

Review 84:Close proximity to the Mill District, downtown Bend and the river is the best part of the location of the Inn. The Jacuzzi tub was the best part of the room and the fact that we felt cozy and couldn't hear other guests in their rooms.

Review 85:Was nice and quite, and I liked that it was only a 20 room hotel with great options and breakfast.

Review 86:Nothing not to like

Review 87:Stunning room, decor, and size. Very Very Nice

Review 88:the staff was very helpful. I liked the layout of the room. nice comfy bed. and almost a straight shot to mt bachelor.

Review 111:Far better than your standard breakfast! Quiet location, yet close to everything you could need.

Review 112:No hottub.

Review 113:Beautiful view of the river!
