Reviews for Executive Hotel Pacific
Review 1:Nothing to complain, everything as expected.
Review 2:Located in the hearth of Seattle this hotel makes it easy to walk everywhere in downtown. Rooms were whether big not modern, but clean and perfect as a cheap place to stay overnight. Staff was very friendly and professional. (As our aircondition started to make noises, they directly helped us to move to a new room)
Review 3:No drinking water (bottles) in room. Rooms are small, but if you travel alone and not intending to work in the hotel room, it is a good option.
Review 4:Location, staff.
Review 5:I had an unfortunate fluke and stepped on a sharp piece of metal during my second day.Honestly, it must have been under my linens because I took a good look at the room when I first got in and it was spotless. When I went down to the front desk, they immediately offered first aid (I only had a little scratch), contacted a manager to rectify the mishap, and took very good care of me!
Review 6:From the moment I walked in, the staff was very attentive and responsive. I had booked a queen room and upon arriving I asked if I could get a room with a bathtub, and they were able to accommodate. Seeing the staff while walking in and out of building always made my day and through out my stay, they had great suggestions on food and things to see. For food options in the hotel, The Lounge and Vovito do not disappoint. Vovito's breakfast sandwich was really good, and they made my tea iced even though they usually make it hot. The Lounge has an excellent bloody mary and wedge salad. The quesadilla wasn't quite up to par, but I'm also from Texas. All in all, great food and atmosphere, plus lots of options on tap and big screens for the game!
Review 7:small bathroom and toilet was so close to the wall, felt cramped.
Review 8:Clean rooms and super comfortable beds. Great staff, so helpful with directions. Nice wine gathering in the evening, it was fun to meet other guests.
Review 9:The pillows were a bit uncomfortable (maybe too high) but that is a matter of personal preference! Bed was very comfortable otherwise!
Review 10:Great central location with a clean and comfortable room! The hosted wine reception is fabulous. Staff is friendly and service is very quick.
Review 11:Room was very small and only two double beds. Double beds are not big enough for two people to have a comfortable nights sleep.
Review 12:Location was very good and the staff were extremely pleasant and very obliging
Review 13:Wifi is not available in the room!!! and bathroom is small. We can hear sound from next door.
Review 14:Good location, near Pike Market and Harbor.Staff is nice.
Review 15:The rooms are VERY small! No fridge and bathrooms are small too. Pics don't do room size justice
Review 16:Loved the location and how easily you can walk places! Not noisy for being downtown
Review 17:toilet was a bit cramped due to a small bathroom
Review 18:staff were very friendly. walking distance to the markets 15 mins. if you dont mind a walk its close enough to a few activities.
Review 19:The water in the shower was poor, didn't come out well. Took a long time to shower. No bathroom fan. The heating and cooling was hard to use. The bathroom ceiling was not maintained. Too expensive for the quality of room.
Review 20:The lobby was nice and the beds were nice.
Review 21:I know the building is old, so the hotel has some limitation in what they can do. My bathroom had an oddly shaped corner so toilet and sink were cramped together. It took a long time to receive warm water in the shower.
Review 22:Besides dealing with limitations of an older building, my stay was comfortable. My room was small but it suited me just fine. Location is very convenient for me and hotel staff were all nice and helpful. WiFi is free, while other hotels will charge a fee. I was happy to find a discounted room rate available for the night I needed to stay downtown. I feel I got a good deal.
Review 23:- Hotel is older so don't expect too much from the rooms. - Our room had a view of the parking garage
Review 24:- The staff was great - Early check-in - Valet parking - The Lodge bar right in the hotel - Great location! Went down for a Seahawks game and would definitely stay here again.
Review 25:Hotel was terrific, food was great and Staff was over the top. I have already given the hotel name and address to a number of my friemds and customers. I will definitely be back.
Review 26:Parking.Cities are always expensive for valet parking. Not enough parking first night, had to utilize another private lot for more money.
Review 27:Ambience of old style refurbished to accomadate modern living.Friendly staff.
Review 28:Small room and bedroom. No fitness facility/pool/spa. Old-ish look of walls, doors etc. Half renovated I would say! But overall clean.
Review 29:Great location. Good value for your money.
Review 30:the hotel doesn't provide me any water because the machine is damaged without fixing. Also the heat machine sounds loud at night and sometimes makes me feel annoying.
Review 31:i impressed with little cute bathroom which has enough facilities for me.
Review 32:Couldn't reach the safe in the room. It was so high up inside the closet that I couldn't use it. No chair in the room to stand on, so had to carry my valuables around with me.
Review 33:Nice hotel in the heart of Seattle. Complimentary Happy Hour was very nice. Close to shopping centres and lots of places to eat and drink.
Review 34:Fawset faulty. Toilet didn't flush properly. Very inconvenient to have several stairs between lobby and lift. The sound proofing was practically non-existant. We could hear everything said in the room next door as well as their shower running and toilet flushing.
Review 35:Close to stadium and light rail. Early check in. Dinner at their sports bar was great with good service.
Review 36:Only thing was our stays have not been automatically put onto our member card and am told they cannot be put on at this late stage. For our loyalty over the years they should have made an exception. Oh well.
Review 37:Love this hotel. We have been coming here for 25 years this weekend. It's fantastically situated, wonderfully clean and there is nothing I can say to put anyone off. It's just the best. Friends try to persuade us to go elsewhere. Why would we do that when we are so happy with this hotel.
Review 38:Room was tight, more of a European size, as was the bathroom. Seemed to be priced a little high to me, but was a good value in relation to other properties in the area.
Review 39:The location and knowledgeable, friendly staff.
Review 40:Location was perfect...could park the car and walk everywhere... Went for Seahawks game....easy walk to stadium... Boutique size room... But great value for the money
Review 41:Very small room, no desk, extraction/AC outside window and very noisy, ran almost all night.
Review 42:Staff and location great, convenient cafe for breakfast and sports bar attached to hotel.
Review 43:Internet connection was poor and disconnecting all the time.
Review 44:It's my second stay here and I like it most because of the convenient location to downtown and public transport. Room was clean, nice friendly stuff.
Review 45:The staff at the front desk- Jennifer, Mark and Natalia were extremely helpful in getting places to eat, transportation back to the hotel and Natalia was so informative and helpful during the complementary wine nights it made our trip all the more enjoyable!
Review 46:Heating was not switched on and no heaters available - this was eventually sorted. I lost power in the room for half a day - slow to resolve.
Review 47:Good location and comfortable stay - staff were very helpful and friendly
Review 48:Convenience to downtown and not so large as to be lost in the large corporate world. Close to fabulous restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Review 49:These weren't a problem for me, but others might want to know that there are steps up or down from the entrance level in order to reach the elevators. Other reviews have complained about the cramped space around the toilet, which is next to the washbasin. I'm nearly 60 years old and over 200 pounds and had no trouble at all, but people who are much broader or who have difficulty standing from a low chair could find the layout to be awkward.
Review 50:I needed an affordable place to stay downtown and was willing to sacrifice a bit on comfort, but Executive Hotel Pacific exceeded all my expectations. It is an older building with modest-sized rooms but very well updated, perfectly clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Despite complaints in older reviews, it does have modern amenities like key-card door locks and free WiFi, as well as the expected things like a good pillow-top mattress, in-room coffee, electronic safe, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, TV, etc. New double-pane windows can open for fresh air or shut out street noise effectively. Nifty freebies include a bowl of tasty Washington apples always available at the front desk and an afternoon wine reception. This is not a luxury destination resort or a place where you can hold a conference in your room, but it's an ideal spot for the frugal business traveler.
Review 51:The bathrooms are unbelievably small. There is little that the hotel can do about that, short of combining rooms. However, they can remedy some deficiencies such as the lack of a shelf or dish to hold soap, shampoo, shaving gel and a razor in the otherwise attractive shower.
Review 52:Cleanliness, decor, location, value
Review 53:A small point, but there was no breakfast option. There are many options in the local area, but it is handy to have all on the one bill. Small point.
Review 54:I liked the location and price. The bar/restaurant off the Lobby was very friendly, convenient and with a good menu.
Review 55:Shower handle was broken and hard to use. Window faced parking garage and roof of restaurant. Smelt like grease if opened.
Review 56:Close to convention center. Very nice staff.
Review 57:Authorized three times from my credit card and then charged twice of different amount. After several times talk with them, finally their CFO apologized for their mistake and retuned the over charged money to me.
Review 58:Convenient to take the quick line to the airport.
Review 59:The location was perfect, right in the heart of downtown Seattle. All the sights are within short walking distance & the monorail is also close by for the Space Needle.
Review 60:room was so small, next day we up-graded to a queen superior room much better.
Review 61:The location was awesome, walk to dining, pikes peek, great places to eat.
Review 62:Toilet is cramped as bathroom was small. Only an issue if you are a large person.
Review 63:"Cozy" room but clean, comfortable bed, updated bathroom/room, a few short blocks to conference centre, Pike's market or link-train to airport ($3.00 trip). Smiling staff, accommodated immediately by moving me when someone was smoking in room across the hall (non-smoking rooms by the way). Well priced if on a budget. Great if you're just needing a nice room for sleeping. It did have a desk and free internet but no extra space for chairs. I lounged in bed. I was pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews. Thy must have listened.
Review 64:Wished air conditioning was still available. Opened the window for some fresh air and had a bit of street noise.
Review 65:Great location, close to restaurants and Pike market. Really enjoyed the complementary wine tasting in the lobby, thought this was a great idea.
Review 66:Wifi was not great .
Review 67:Very charming little hotel in an amazingly convenient part of downtown. Great price! Will definitely come back to stay next time I'm around.
Review 68:There were lots of things about this hotel and our experience that I felt were below our expectations. This hotel is way over priced for what we got. To start off with our hotel room door- The 7+ layers of paint that was on the door made it hard to use it. Opening the door the door would stick against the door jam due to the stickiness of the paint. Closing the door extra layers of paint caused the door to not latch. We needed to lean away from the door while holding the handle to make sure the latch was secure. We only discovered this when we went to leave our room and the door closed behind us my husband leaned on the door and it opened without the use of our hotel room key. Our room was small and felt cramped. The molding around the ceiling and around the floor was coming loose. The glass door on the bathroom did not block any of the light to the room. One evening I was up with an upset stomach and every time I used the bathroom it woke my husband as light flooded our very tiny hotel room. We tried to open our windows to allow for fresh air as there is not ceiling fan in the room. The first window worked fine but the other wouldn't stay open and the lock was broke.
Review 69:The location of our hotel was close to places we wanted to visit or it was close to the local public transportation.
Review 70:Our room was uncomfortablely hot. 8th Floor No 823. Aircon on all the time we were in the room. No difference to the temperature. So had the window open.
Review 71:Staff VERY helpful & professional. Location perfect.
Review 72:The location was very close to the Link Train Station/Pioneer Square/The Pier/Shopping The staff was very nice and the entire hotel exceeded our expectations
Review 73:The property is outdated inside out and the room was extremely small. No breakfast.
Review 74:The location of the hotel is great, you are in the center of downtown.
Review 75:We had to change rooms twice. First room was facing the rear-end of a multi-storey car park tower, the next room had a noisy A/C even when turned off! Our third room was better but next to the elevator so we heard people passing by all the time. The worst thing of all ... the walls are THIN! No sleep on our second night due to a couple of men in the next room talking all night and moving furniture around at 4:30am! I called reception to sort it out 3 times but the problem was not resolved. We were woken again at 09:30 by the cleaner vacuuming the room they had checked out of at 04:30, whacking the skirting boards with the vacuum. If you plan on a comfortable night's sleep, look elsewhere.
Review 76:Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms and a good location to the downtown area. However, room walls are thin. Check my negative comments first before booking.
Review 77:No real bad experience. Our questions were all answered well. It is not high end but very comfortable.
Review 78:The staff were all friendly & helpful. The location was good and the breakfast and happy hour met well with our expectations.
Review 79:The rooms are very small, and when I say very im not exaggerating. The first room they gave us was not very much bigger then the queen size bed and there wasn't much room to move around, I'm talking only a couple feet on the sides and foot of the bed. I complained and they moved us to what was supposed to be a bigger room, it was but not by much. I'm a smaller statured man, 5'6" to be exact and not overweight. Good luck utilizing the bathroom, if you know what I mean, to do anything accept use the sink if you are a bigger person. The bathroom was a small box and that's putting it nicely. We will never be staying here again. The cost of the room was not worth what they provided. We even canceled 2 upcoming dates in the next couple months that we had booked there. Never again.
Review 80:The location of the hotel was good. Close enough to walk to the waterfront and Century Link Field. Downstairs there was a nice restaurant and bar.
Review 81:The standard guest room we booked was small as expected but we were a bit surprised at how tiny the bathroom was. A large person would find it difficult to navigate the toilet area. Shower head water pressure was lacking but we never ran out of hot water! When ordering room service you could not charge to your room as the Lodge restaurant located at street level is not operated by the hotel. However, the seared ahi tuna salad and the fish tacos were delicious!
Review 82:Excellent location. We walked everywhere. Helpful staff. Requests ( refrigerator for our room) were looked after immediately. Comfortable bed. Elevators ran promptly. Complimentary WiFi worked well. The daily Happy Hour was a nice touch. The hotel definitely met our expectations for a fabulous few days of touring around Seattle.
Review 83:Price. Pretty expensive for a mid-week business conference. Very modest room.
Review 84:Loved how comfortable the bed and pillows were. Also loved how clean the room and bathroom was.
Review 85:Bathroom was way too small. No where to put anything and had to sit sideways or knees would hit bldg. pier. Smaller than most cruise ships.
Review 86:Loved being so close to the harbor and within walking distance of multiple restaurants and bars.
Review 87:Pack n play portable crib was pretty rickety. Room was small and not very comfortable for two plus a toddler. Steps to elevator (not stroller friendly). Walls thin.
Review 88:Attentive staff. Able to get a mini fridge brought to the room (not standard).
Review 89:The walls are very thin. I could hear the people next to me a bit too well...
Review 90:located super good, staff is very friendly and helpfull, room was clean and very nice. No complaints what so ever
Review 91:Bathroom was AWFUL. SOOOO small. My knees practically hit the wall when sitting on the toilet, and I'm only 5'2". NO counter space. Had to keep the cabinet door open in order to hang a hand towel, there were no hooks anywhere. "Walk in shower" sprayed water all over the floor (we actually thought the shower door was missing). Hairs on the sheets, dresser falling apart. Not worth $350/night. Asked Front desk clerk how much a taxi to El Gaucho was (where we had dinner reservations) it's one of the best steak houses in the country...she said "I'm a vegetarian, I have never heard of it"
Review 92:location was good. bed was comfortable
Review 93:The location was close to the Market and to the train station which is why we chose it. Price was fine and the room small, but okay. The bathroom was tiny and the 'rain shower' was awesome!
Review 94:The hotel locate in very convenient place, easy for the traveler who is the first time to visit. People in the hotel offer nice service and support as well. Really got awesome memory there.
Review 95:The bathroom was very small, could hardly use the toliet. Nobody in our party (3 rooms) slept. The mattresses were horrible. All 3 parties used your "transport service and all 3 reservations were messd up in some way. At least they eventually got their transport. We had to find another way to your hotel. Very disappointing trip. .
Review 96:Sorry, I can't think of one thing.
Review 97:Room was a little cramped, but the bathroom upgrades were noticed and appreciated.
Review 98:Awesome location. Safe, nice area. Central to all downtown attractions.
Review 99:The bathroom was very tiny and the shower made everything wet, a larger person would not be able to use the toilet in a queen room
Review 100:Location, the lodge, the comfortable beds, the staff, great value for downtown location, so close to everything. Clean city. Excellent transit system.
Review 101:The bathroom was EXTREMELY small and a "tight fit". We are not large people and we had a hard time using the toilet! The sink was almost right up against it.
Review 102:The staff was very, very helpful. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The amenities were great.
Review 103:The hotel is rather old and in need of a renovation. Smells musty and carpet is old. Rooms are small
Review 104:Location was good. Within walking distance to Pike's Market.
Review 105:A comfortable, functional hotel room in the centre of Seattle - probably the best value option compared to other hotels in the area. Can easily walk to Pike Place market, or go in the other direction to Pioneer Square. The wine reception was a nice touch.
Review 106:Door was difficult to open, told it would be fixed but wasn't Steps from reception down to elevators & rooms, however valets did assist shortly Hot not working on arrival (0030hrs) room changed for 1.5hrs after unsuccessfully trying to fix it.
Review 107:Location, walking distance to attractions. Valet service to airport
Review 108:The room was freezing and the heat will not be turned on until October 1st. We called for an extra blanket which was delivered promptly, but you should have to sit in your hotel room with your coat on in early September!
Review 109:The staff was friendly and helpful.
Review 110:Our room was situated on the 2nd floor and there was a loud air conditioning unit at the rear which disturbed our sleep.
Review 111:Location was great, staff helpful also offered complimentary wine for an hour in the evening.
Review 112:We got locked out of our room and had to go down to snack area to waituntil maintenance could fix it. Staff unwilling to give us anycompensation for the inconvenience. Noisy, you could here the people innext room.
Review 113:The walls are paper thin, which made for some interesting accidental eves dropping and very little sleep for this light sleeper.
Review 114:The staff here were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a nice feel overall.
Review 115:The bed was kind of hard and the bathroom was small, but that was to be expected from a historic old hotel.
Review 116:The staff and location are both wonderful and we felt very safe. The food and service at the restaurant was exceptionally good and the food and service at the coffee shop was excellent.
Review 117:There were some minor things that did not make our stay worse, but just seemed like it could have been better. The sink water temperature was 95% hot water, even all the way turned to cold. The AC unit did not work that well, but it was not that hot outside, so it was not that bad.
Review 118:At a glance: The location is great. Staff is very friendly. Room was clean. I like that there was a place to eat attached to the hotel. The check-in time is 4pm, but my friends and I arrived around 830am and were able to have some bags held while we waited for a room opening. They let us know when the room was ready around noon which was great. Whenever we saw a staff member in the hall, they would say hello and ask if we needed anything. They were so nice.
Review 119:The room was much smaller than expected. There wasn't even really a dresser in the room. The bathroom was cramped and outdated. If I had known what I was paying for, I would have spent a few extra bucks for a nicer place.
Review 120:The location of the hotel was only a few blocks from the convention center, so it was easy for us to attend our event.
Review 121:Small rooms, water damage to ceiling, small TV, spotty (free) wifi, no fridge in room.
Review 122:Wine reception nightly, generally helpful staff, good downtown location close to everything.
Review 123:It was terrible hospitality, manager Ryan Kirk didn't help us with changing of room though this room didn't qualify for the type of the room we ordered and money we paid. It was former very small office with poor air conditioning and no access to fresh air,
Review 124:The hotel was an easy walk to all the major downtown tour things: Pike's Market, ferry terminal, Columbia Building and Safeco Baseball Field to mention a few. The staff was always ready to help and there was not a wait to ask a question. We had trouble printing a document on the hotel computer and the staff was immediately available and got it done. Every tour question we had was answered. We enjoyed the happy hour wine event and the sports bar. Starbucks was very close.
Review 125:Very thin walls. Light sleepers, bring earplugs! I could hear my neighbor singing (keep practicing darling...) and hotel staff in the hallways were talking loud.
Review 126:Nice rooms, great staff, great location
Review 127:Bath is small, as expected, but very usable except...they need to install more racks/bars to hang towels and hanging wash kits. And, a shelf in the shower!!! Only had shower floor to place supplies. But shower head was fabulous!!!
Review 128:Great central location. Good value for $. Smaller European type rooms but looking for a comfortable, clean, nicer room...not a party hall. Great dining attached (The Lodge) or within easy walking distance. Good access to public transit.
Review 129:I felt it was a little overpriced, the hotel was fairly run down and the rooms were very small. The air conditioner was very noisy and didn't work very well.
Review 130:the location of the hotel
Review 131:I couldn't get my wifi to work properly, though I was able to use the Hotel computers free of charge which was good. A small refrigerator in the room would be an advantage.
Review 132:The staff were very helpful, and the location was excellent.the room was fine but the bathroom was a bit small but adequate. It was excellent value. A most enjoyable happy hour was generously provided with nice wines.
Review 133:We were given a very small room. The best thing about the room was the light-up shower head that let you know if the water was too hot, too cold, or just right. It is an old building and there was stairs that led to the elevator to get to the room, which required us to carry our heavy luggage down some steps.
Review 134:Great location, within walking distance from many attractions, including Pike Place. We walked everywhere. We didn't have a car and didn't need a car.
Review 135:The room was tiny, the beds and pillows were hard as bricks. The shower would not drain, the plugs would not stay up. The plugs for power were lose and would not keep anything plugged in. The A/C in the room did not work, we opened the window but it was very loud on the street.
Review 136:The location and parking
Review 137:The room is old. The sound insulation is too bad, there was a lot of noise in the corridor which woke me up too much time... The closet is badly placed in the bathroom.
Review 138:The service is good.
