Reviews for Nites Inn
Review 1:Almost everything junk yard quality. Dirty, in need of major repair, and no housekeeping for two day stays. Tube TV didn't work. Lukewarm shower, one skimpy towel, no Kleenex, no bath rug, one small Chinese made hand soap. Wall AC not adjustable and controlled by light switch. Dead bolt not utilized when you leave. Noisy.
Review 2:Large room, with internet, refrigerator and microwave.
Review 3:Appallingly dirty (carpet/walls/toilet bowl/bedspread), torn & dirty mattress/box spring, broken furniture. The "non-smoking room" smelled so much like smoke I didn't want to take a breath. It was stiflingly hot (> 100 degrees). No water in the pool. This place looked like what I would imagine a meth crash pad or a place for prostitution to look like. Also, there were a few people who were watching us very closely as we arrived and went to the room. Felt somewhat unsure of safety. Only 2 cars there.
Review 4:Location at wrong end of a travelling-through only kind of town! Next to railway yard, motor repairs, liquor store with undesirsble individuals wandering past. Did not feel safe as a mum with 3 teenagers turning up in brand new mpv rental car. Room stank of smoke, not clean, no extra bed provided as requested, staff seemed unwilling to sort it and came right into our room to switch on air con but lingered a bit too long for comfort. Pool not available Aug 14, drained and filthy. One to avoid!
Review 5:Was dirt cheap. Huge room big beds.
Review 6:As I was filling in the registration card two men who resembled ex marines stormed into the office (one of them was unmistakeably a drug addict, the other an alcoholic); the alcoholic was screaming about the drug addict and threatening to murder him. The tiny manager knew them and ushered them out. I told him how upsetting I found this and he assured me that this had never happened before and he was on call 24hrs a day and everything would be ok; I had driven a very long way and was tired so decided (mistakenly) to stay. We did not come back to the motel until evening and I barricaded us into the room (thank God). 7.30 am next morning the someone was at the window, rattling it, it seemed to me they were trying to get in. It was the alcoholic; I rang the manager who took a very long time to answer, when he did answer, he didn't know who I was (he found it very difficult to understand my English accent which is reasonably neutral being from Oxfordshire). My 16 yr old daughter had 911 punched into her phone and was ready to dial it. I put the phone down without receiving any help and the man at the window ambled off down the stairs. We got ready VERY quickly and left, upon checking out, the manager asked me if we had had a pleasant stay. Unbelievable. Apparently the alcoholic was cleaning the windows - only mine and at 7.30 am - I think not. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The hotel room was upon closer inspection dirty; the mattresses (which unfortunately we did not inspect until the next morning) had approx 20 years of every bodily fluid you can imagine (and wouldn't want to think about sleeping on) on them.
Review 7:NOTHING
Review 8:Attendant didn't know who I was or the price quoted. Good thing I brought in my confirmation sheet--attendant looked like he'd never seen such a confirmation sheet. Pool is empty, stained and locked; cigarette burns and yucky stains all over carpet; heavy Fabreeze smell; toilet plunger sitting out in tiny bathroom completely covered with dried shredded toilet paper; air conditioner disgustingly filthy, rusted, stinky dusty air, and so LOUD I couldn't hear TV or sleep (I complained but was told all ACs make noise--If I turned off--couldn't sleep because it was too hot --Barstow in the summer--If I turned on couldn't sleep because so noisy--intermittent and unexpected and LOUD noises); no closet--just a small hangerless cubby on TV cabinet; broken drawer on TV cabinet just lying there on floor of cabinet; no inside deadbolt nor security lock; no coffee pot; no wash cloth; TV very old and small--no HD; had to get out of bed to turn off wall sconce--back to bed in the dark; no night stand lamp; door frame on bathroom door badly beaten up (what happened there--is this the Bates hotel?) frame just painted over and poorly at that; shower tile inexpertly installed; shower curtain stained (decided against taking a shower); door to unit was obviously forced open at one time and frame not repaired--scary. I couldn't wait to get out of there and get to my destination and take a VERY LONG SHOWER. Wrong end of Main St.--businesses boarded up or had bars on windows. This place is beyond awful. How did it ever get 3 stars? It should NEVER be on any booking list. GET RID OF IT. I will now be suspicious of any Bookings.com offering.
Review 9:Absolutely nothing. Don't include my name. This place has/had my credit/debit card information and this review is so awful I fear retaliation.
Review 10:Everything in the room was dirty
