Review 1：Only minor criticism would be poor quality of internet but because I was not on business, it did not matter.

Review 2：We were really happy with every single aspect of our stay - facilities were first class, service, quality and value for money were also very pleasing. In addition, just to cap it all, Management held a fantastic cocktail party, inorder for the guests to mingle.

Review 3：The onsite restaurant was pretty good, but not as high in quality as one might expect for such a top end property. However, you get resort privileges next door, and they have several very good restaurants to choose from.

For all of our travels, this is one of the top locations and rooms in which we've ever stayed. Staff and service level was great, too. Review 11：Stunning location. The villas with pool and sea view are absolutely superb. Well appointed, large, airy and with the best views enhanced by the reflecting horizon pool. Waking up to the fantastic view makes the stay a must. The service is faultless and always with a smile. Nothing is too much for the guest and all my activities and bookings were arranged through reception. The resort is beautifully maintained with surprises round every corner. Golf buggies are available for the faint hearted although I personally enjoyed the daily exercise of climbing up and down several hundred steps to and from the villa. Katathani beach is the cleanest in Phuket and because it is fronted only by hotel owned properties it gives the impression of a private beach. The sand is the softest deepest you'll ever walk on and unlike many SE Asian beaches extends into the sea without the presence of dangerous corral It is a well protected cove and one can swim easily. Water sports available. Wifi is fast and works perfectly all the time in the villas. The distance of Katathani from Patong and even Kata is an advantage to those who like an almost deserted paradise on earth. It may be a disadvantage to those who enjoy the crowds and wild nightlife. But both Patong and Kata and all the ping pong shows one desires are an easy taxi ride away.

Review 18：We stayed 6 nights at The Shore. It was a fabulous stay. We reserved a shuttle from the airport, the driver was waiting for us, he was nice and drove carefully. When we arrived at The Shore we were very well welcomed. The room is perfect. Very big, clean, with everything we needed. And mostly the private pool! It is fantastic! The view from our room (8892) was fabulous. We could see all the beach from the room and the pool. The personnel is very kind, friendly and helpful. They were many little attentions during all our stay. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of things to eat and drink (room service or buffet at the restaurant). There is also a tea time everyday (with drinks and small things to eat) near the pool of the hotel, we liked it very much. The pool of the hotel is big, there are sunbeds and umbrellas, it's very relaxing and the staff of the bar/restaurant is very nice and took care of us. We could also go to the entire complex of Katathani. There are great restaurants. We liked everything, our stay was a dream even if it was the raining season (we had only 2 days with rain). Just note that we could not go to the sea, there was often the red flag but they sometimes open a little part to swim.

There seems to always be an endless supply of fresh towels.The beach is a little less crowded than the main Kata beach and there are less shops and restaurants but if you want more its just round the corner so lovely if you want a bit of quiet but not too far away from the action. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Review 51：One disadvantage of this resort is that the doors (the villa entrance door and the sliding door of the washing area) have gaps and not completely sealed from the outside, open to insects and creeping creatures. In addition, the floor of the washing area is built as a two-layer wooden floor with spacers, a hideout for creeping creatures. I mention this because I found a small lizard and a cockroach in the bedroom. I notified the staff, they responded prompltly by spraying the room. Nevertheless, the resort should act on permanent terms to make it really Heaven on Earth.

Review 52：Heaven on Earth We stayed for three nights in August 2014, the room type is Pool Villa with Sea View. The location of the resort is excellent for relaxation and easy commuting to the nearby towns. There are also some good seafood restaurants across the road. The beach is good for swimming against the waves. The help from the resort staff and management is really great. They are attentive and sensitive to our needs. The services provided within the resort is a plus. The resort atmosphere, facilities and landscaping is amazing. The room is comfort and pleasant. The sea view from the room is suburb, first of its kind that we experienced in Phuket. The setting of the room with its infinity pool and the sea view from our room is "Heaven on Earth". "Sure, we have a pleasant, comfortable and memorable experience of The Shore".

Review 53：Almost nothing negative to say. If I had to say something, the food served at the restaurant does not quite meet the same exceptional standard as the Shore's other features, although we still ate there at almost every meal! -Location is not ideal for people travelling for nightlife or crowds - stay at main Kata beach instead if that's what you're after.

Staff are personable and happy to help make the stay special. -Attention to detail - our stay was for our honeymoon and our room was especially decorated on our arrival. No doubt, you will find others offering cheaper rates that sit well for those traveling on a budget. But there lies the answer: The Shore is no ordinary resort--it is exquisite and everything about it will simply blow you away. From the amazing infinity pool just outside your room that provides the most picturesque view of Kata Beach to the well-appointed fixtures in the bathroom. Everything just works! My wife and I went to Phuket for a typical change in scenery. We're from the Philippines and its almost tradition to go to the white sand beaches of Boracay every summer. This year however, we thought we would check out some place different; the next beach on our mind was Phuket. Since this is going to be our first out of the country trip together without our daughter ever since we got married, I really wanted to make it extra special. So I went to Booking.com to look for an amazing resort. The Shore came through for me..and more. I wasn't planning on scrimping on budget but I still wanted to book a resort/hotel that would give me (and my wife) great value for money. And that's exactly what The Shore at Katathani delivers. The staff were very courteous, very accommodating (special mention to Sylvia, our fellow countryman, who did an amazing job taking care of us while we were at The Shore). It helped a lot too that Kata Beach provided that tranquil quiet time that my wife and I wanted as we really took this trip to unwind and relax. For couples who want to kick back, enjoy sunsets and wax romantic, Kata Beach is for you. It has none of the glitz and frenzy of Patong. If you have the budget, I highly recommend booking at The Shore. You will not regret it. This much I can say: We will definitely come back here.
