Review 1：I reserved thru Booking.Com. The hotel sent me an e-mail with a higher rate. When I checked in, they told me they would honor the Booking rate, but tired to charge me the higher rate when I check out and it took forever to check in and out. The front desk needs a lot more training.
Review 2：Everything was wonderful except for the front desk.
Review 3：No pool and the cute dining area was not being used during our one night stay which caused us to leave the Ovation in order to find something to eat!
Review 4：We stopped at the location for one night before going to our vacation destination...loved it! We have teenagers that we're scared because we told them it was a haunted inn and it would be fun to see if we could witness some paranormal activity...LOL! They stayed up all night thinking they heard or saw something...too funny! My husband and I had a very restful night and our travel to our vacation destiny was very nice because those loud teenagers slept! We plan to stop again when we return home! Thanks for the help! ;)
Review 5：Rooms are vintage looking and nice, but I wish there'd been a minifridge hidden like the tv was. The only blanket on the bed was a heavyfeather duvet and we were here in July!! It was time to switch to summerlinens!! We had a couple minor maintenance issues, nothing foreseeable.

Review 9：The air conditioning did not work in the upper portion of this run downand low maintained, inn??? We told the person at the desk that the airwas not working in the room. After getting 2 excuses; well your on thesecond floor and then here comes the doozie of all excuses we were toldthat the air conditioner is on the roof and they must not have turned iton yet. I was late for my wedding across the street so I had no time topack up and leave. The woman at the desk however gave us a box fan tokeep us cool. The room I reserved had two very uncomfortable queen sizebeds with 2 shameless and very small square pillows. I had asked forextra pillows and was only given one king size pillow. The whole roomsmelled like mold. When we got back from our event it was just to lateto leave so we suffered the entire night threw. The Winter bed coveringwas so heavy and there was only a sheet to use for a cover. The WinterBed Spread stunk of mold. My grand baby spilled a bit of juice on thefloor, I wiped it up and the towel I used came back black after wipingthe area of spilled apple juice. Which means the floor was not properlycleaned. The flat screen had to be turned up to 85 to here it. Thisplace is not ready to be rented to anyone, it is as though they openedthis, inn??, Before it was ready to rent. At least this in my eyes was acheap Bed and Breakfast. My daughter went down stairs in the morning toget some ice for our cooler and they mentioned a continental breakfast.The person who offered this breakfast said it was a greasy continentalbreakfast, wth is that supposed to mean. Before we left I returned thebox fan/excuse for no air conditioning and was told well I guessafter all the events, the storm, of early this morning blew the airconditioning unit out. This box fan that was offered to us was apersonally owned box fan that belonged to the woman that ran the frontdesk during that date of check in. This was definitely not the case.

Review 11：Customer service is lacking. Tried to call front desk multiple times with no answer and when I went to the front desk to check in, I had to search for someone to check me in.

Review 13：The morning of dec 6 the man at the front desk was more than a little friendly with the nice lady with me! This was my third stay, but the first time I brought a female with me. IT WILL BE MY LAST STAY!

Review 15：We were in room #7. Carpet was filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned in years. There were dead bugs underneath cabinet bathroom sink. Shower faucets was not secured to tile wall. There was no lid to the toilet seat. Lighting was poor but I suppose that was in an effort to not hide the lack of cleanliness.
Review 16：Location was good in downtown Pensacola. Outside patio was pretty and offered a nice place to sit and socialize.
Review 17：Old rooms with tiny bathrooms and dirty carpet. The room included a dehumidifier which filled up with water every 10 hours or so. We had to dump the water out ourselves. The continental breakfast is a joke, but the Bodacious Brew is close by and is excellent for coffee and pastries. We found a giant Palmetto bug in the bathtub. The satellite tv had bad reception. I definitely won't stay there again. I'd rather stay at a clean Marriott and just drive where I want to go or pay more and stay on the beach.
Review 18：Historic building in a good location downtown. Right on Palafox, so you can walk to restaurants, bars, cafes, museums, the pier and anything else around downtown. Very reasonable price considering hotels on the beach cost three times as much on the weekend we visited. Staff was very nice. Free parking.
Review 19：First room we were given smelled like cheap cologne had been poured all over the carpet(which had a lot of stains) and the trash hadn't been emptied. However, they must have had a cancellation because they were able to change our room at around 10 pm.

Review 21：There was no desk clerk on duty when we arrived. She was somewhere else in the building. Two other employees couldn't find her and neither of them knew how to use the computer to check customers in. The basin in the room was cracked. The chair in the bedroom area was so stained I would not use it. One of the bed skirts was all torn and hanging on the floor near the bed.

Review 47：FIRST TIME , BUT WANT BE MY LAST! BEST NIGHTS SLEEP EVER! STAFF WAS GREAT! LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING. WE SAT OUTSIDE BY THE FOUNTAIN FOR COFFEE IN THE MORNING AND A GLASS OF WINE THAT EVENING. GREAT GETAWAY FOR STRESS RELIEF OR ANY OTHER REASON.
Review 48：The rooms are shabby, carpet is stained and buckled, paint peeling andcracked, terrible smell emanating from the hall, towels were frayed andstained, the soda machine was broken, the bed was propped up on crates,the bed sheets had bleach spots. It's ashamed, because this could bea really cool, comfortable accommodation...it's just poorlymaintained.

Continental breakfast bar need replenishing with food and plates. No attendant or plates could be found. Noisy other guest which woke us up. Requested a wake up call which we did not receive.
