Review 1：Nothing bad really. It's a small hotel. The next room to us was a bit noisy. Always banging doors. I think their room had some problem with the door.

Review 2：It was an in-between hotel for us for two nights before our wedding at another hotel in Phuket. It's location is great in Kata. Right in the middle of everything. Nice hotel, friendly staff. Decent breakfast. The pool looked nice, though i didnt get time to use it.

Review 3：We didn't use the pool as it very exposed and only a few sunbeds were in the sun. Beach is at the end of the road though, so as long as you are happy going there, it's fine. You can rent an umbrella on beach for 100Baht.

Review 4：Location - just across the road from the beach (albeit a busy road, but easy to cross). Very near to market street where there are lots of food stalls for delicious eats. Easy to get a tuk tuk to Karon and other beaches. Rooms were very clean, and the slight water problem we had was taken care of quickly.

Review 5：Big efforts have to be done on Wifi... but this does not ruin your holidays at all. A stable connection and I would probably give it a 10.

Review 10：LOVE LOVE the LOCATION! near Kata beach but not on the beach so the price was cheaper. near the surf bar which me and my hubby can try surfing for the 1st time. Near the massage parlor and the massage was great and only cost me THB300. Huge Room! so perfect for the 4 of us. Big bed! the 4 of us can sleep on it.

Review 17：The area is still touristic. Many tailors and vendors hard-selling you on the streets. Not a secluded getaway by any means but nothing to do with the hotel, just a product of Kata beach.

Review 23：Requested upper floor quiet room, got put on 2nd floor above breakfast area and had a noisy family above me. They power washed the entrance walkway - just below my room at 5am on Wednesday morning. Wifi is free but extremely slow, to the point of frustrating and useless a lot of the time. It rained quite a bit so the hallway outside my room flooded which made it extremely slippery going into my room, could really use a mat inside the door for wiping shoes/feet.

Review 24：location, breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, room/accomodations. Close to beach, end of a short street, not much street noise. Hotel staff can arrange excursions, motor bike rentals, airport transfers, pretty much anything you need. Good value for the cost (being American, it felt really cheap) They provide towels for the beach as well as a great beach mat to take with you.

Review 25：not a very lavish breakfast but for such a facility, you shouldnt expect one. bathrooms need a bit of refurbishment.

Review 26：Almost everything. The best was the location as it was hardly 2/3 minutes to the lovely Kata beach. We stayed in the pool access rooms which were reasonably sized and you could actually jump out of bed and straight in the pool. The facilities in the room were excellent almost everything available that you could expect. Daily minibar free refill which included soft drinks, beer, water, juices and chocolate. Pool though not very big, but good enough as the facility doesnt have too many rooms. Convenient store and lots of restaurants close by. For Halal food, good restaurant called Khan Baba just 7/8 minutes walk from the resort. Despite being in the centre of Kata, very quiet and relaxing. Excellent value for money, will definitely stay here during our next visit.

Review 27：We traveled as a young couple on our honeymoon. First, when we came tothe hotel, we were disappointed with its shabby exteriour. In real lifethe rooms, the reception and all the facilities look much worse than inthe pictures. We still though we could get used to that, butthree or four days after we'd arrived we discovered that we had BEDBUGS in our bed!!! They have obviously always been there, I examined the back of the bed carefully and found many of them. We asked to change our room immediately and provide us with some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. They did offer us another room, but we did not even get a plain apology. We stayed there for 16 nights total and despite the staff was generally friendly and helpful, they pretended to ignore the fact that their beds have bedbugs in them and that guests may be shocked by that. Apart from that, room cleaning is often quite poor. They only changed our bed linen twice in more than two weeks and they never ever cleaned the bathtub. Due to everything mentioned above I do not recommend anyone to stay in Sugar Marina Fashion, unless they do the repairs and clean all rooms properly and fight the bedbugs.

Review 38：Room setting is excellent and stylish. Bath and bed can combine space at your choice. Free minibar fill up daily. Distance to Kata beach is very short straight line by foot. Mini mart, restaurants and other retails are very near in the cluster and very convenient. Good value for money.

Review 41：Its great for families as most of the common area is a pool! The Ground Floor rooms have direct pool access and the overall comfort level of the hotel is excellent. The location is towards the south part of Kata where all the bars and restaurants are as well as great shopping plazas, all walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and very well designed. The breakfast is marvelous with a great assortment of fruits, bacon and the like, as well as eggs to order. You truly feel that you are staying in a place higher than the star rating!

Review 43：very nice bed, very comfortable, perfect location, close to all (beach, centrum, shops, restaurants ) Kata beach is fabulous , very nice sand and bespoken sunset. for sure book pool access room, its perfect to jump at the evening and then sit on the terrace and have some cold beer. I liked also free minibar and coffee and tea facilities with kettle. staff is nice and helpfull, just you need to have a little patience with the English :)

Review 48：Everything was excellent in our cute room. A lot of electric outlets, it matters when you travel with 4 gadgets. Location is very comfortable – bars and shops are located in just 20 meters away, but we didn't hear any noise at night.

Review 60：The hardest mattress I've ever had the displeasure of having to sleep on, and unfortunately no softer mattresses were available but the housekeepers tried to help by putting a comforter/doona under the bottom sheet. Sauna not working. Unable to recharge phone and ipad while we were out because all power plugs shut off when the only door entry card they supply is removed from its slot in the room.

Most hotel's in Kata are not beachfront and are obstructed from it as Club Med takes up prime location. This hotel is situated just past Club Med so it doesn't have this problem. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Good air conditioning, good water pressure in shower and balcony over looking the pool. Free drinks and snacks in the mini bar too- nice touch! Easy access to rooms with elevators servicing the higher stories. The pool was clean and well maintained (sparkling lights at night time on the bottom.) Breakfast had a nice selection of thai food, breads, fruit and sweets. For the price we paid ($94 in high season) this hotel was a really good deal. Phuket is not the cheapest of places in Asia to visit. If you still want a bit of luxury without the the mega price tag I highly recommend this hotel.

Review 71：The Hotel is sittuated aside from the main road, so there is no noise from the street; there are tai restaurant, not bad massage and travel agency near the entry. Hotel is very convenient for the Kata beach - less then 5 minutes on foot. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good breakfast. But it is not suitable for those, hwo prefer swim in pool - there are only 12 chaiselongue near the pool.

Review 72：Wifi was very bad. Both speed and service itself. You have to log in every 5-10 mins and even after that it might not work. It looks like they have a 2mb connection for the whole hotel. The staff doesn't speak english. Period. We asked one girl for places to eat (with mimic included) and no luck. Right outside the hotel we ended up eating very frequently in a place called Natalie's (which btw, we recommend). You don't need to ask or talk a lot with any hotel staff but even the basic things were hard to explain.
