Review 1：Clean, quiet room. We always enjoy staying here. Owners seem to take a lot of pride in this motel and rooms have a lot of extra touches which add a homey feel.

Review 12：Great location, very handy for our needs - including a short walk to a nearby brew pub for supper. Updated large room had new linens and seemed to have been recently painted. Renos are underway but the owners keep any disruptions to a minimum. Wifi issue was handled quickly and efficiently. Owners were very friendly and helpful, making our stay quite enjoyable. We'll definitely stay again!

Review 17：The Maintenance was in very poor condition.. The lighting was very poor. lightbulbs were out and missing. The cutlery in the kitchen was not adequate at all! There was no kitchen towels. We had to go and get all of this stuff and ate meals in the dark!!!! A problem with payment.

Review 22：The internet service in #27 was poor on all three devices I carry, iPhone, iPad, Samsung ultrabook. The clerk told me nobody else was complaining, but perhaps they were closer to the routers.

Review 28：Being less than a mile from Les Schwab Amphitheater, we could walk to the concert, our main objective. Also, the Hideaway Tavern is in the neighborhood, and was a great place to get a drink on the way back to the hotel!
Review 29：I had paid for a 3 bed, 6-person room. But upon check in, they gave me only a 2-bedroom room. I had to go have them change it since I'd already reserved and paid for the larger room (and we had 5 people). The mattresses were not new, so unfortunately were not the most comfortable to sleep on. But for the price, I really thought it was quite adequate.
Review 30：Very clean despite the age of the facilities. Fridge came in handy, and the bedspreads seemed relatively new. The price was excellent for such a clean room.
Review 31：Outside patio area in the back had ashtrays was a nice place to sit to check emails on the wifi. Just would have preferred that it was a non-smoking area.
Review 32：Big room and conveniently located. We were travelling with mountain bikes so the motel format works for us. The room had a tiled floor front vestibule that was perfect for us to store them inside without making a mess of carpets. Quite, clean and comfortable.

Review 35：It was very clean and well kept making the fact that it was an older property irrelevant. The proprietor was very friendly and even gave us a bigger room at no extra cost when we got there, so we could have separate beds. The nostalgic appliances were great!
Review 36：There was no place to walk our dog. They have a lovely little backyard area, but it was posted as a no-pet zone, and with busy Hwy. 97 right there, our dog could barely find a patch of grass. Also, there was no tv in the 2nd bedroom in the family suite. At the end of a long day of driving, we would have loved to watch anything other than Cartoon Network.

Review 43：Heat/air condition too noisy. Pillows for sleeping too big. No room in bath for toiletris to get ready. The staff was extremely difficult to understand both in person or on telephone. Would not accommodate change in credit card charges. Would not give us a receipt. All we got from her is "already charged already charged" that is all she kept repeating. Impossible to communicate. We will not use this motel again.

Review 45：This is a great, older motel, in an older part of Bend. It is well kept and spotless. Our unit was huge and had very comfortable furniture. This is a very old motel but has been kept up and is on Hy 97. It is easy to find and has restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance.

Review 47：It was very clean. We actually spent the night on our return trip as well as the beginning. It was my grandson's favorite motel we stayed in on the entire trip. I love the extra length they went with little decorations and such. There are a lot nicer rooms available but not for the price. It looks like any tiny motel (mom/pop type) and I was not expecting the interior to be as nice as it was. It is a diamond in the rough and well worth the second stay for my grandson.
Review 48：The internet connection worked well until my last day which was when I needed it the most. It kept disconnecting.
Review 49：Room was decorated in a very cute way with nice furniture and was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator were very convenient, as were the desk and small table.
Review 50：It smelled from others bathrooms, there was no place to take our dog to go to the bathroom, and the owner checked on us as we were leaving for dinner to make sure we took our dog with us.

Review 54：We got room 21 and it was all what we needed and more for the price we paid. Two separate rooms with a queen bed each, A/C, fridge, coffee, microwave, and a functional bathroom. The room was the most further away from the road you could have and it was really quite.

Review 56：My friend was given room #37 , and apparently nobody should pay fullprice for this room. More noise because it faces directly towards thestreet, the fan didn't drown out the noise, and wasn't evenworking properly. I felt bad because my room was fine but my friend gotstuck with a lousy room and the following morning when we brought it tothe attention of the woman running the place she was quite adamant inrefusing to compensate my friend for his lousy experience. In closing myroom was fine but don't accept your room before making sure thelocation within the complex suits you.

Review 65：This is a little gem. Close to the Old Mill, and the downtown area, very reasonable. We had a two room suite that was very reasonable, and the owner made sure we were content. We will stay here again.
Review 66：The room was very small. There wasn't a lot of surface to put things. The blanket and throw pillows on the bed were of a dark red color, and the blanket had some stains, which weren't very reassuring. Both the carpet and arm chair were dark as well and made me wonder about their cleanliness. Then, I found a hair on the bed sheets. The bathroom was small but appeared to have been renovated somewhat. It looked and felt cleaner than the room itself. Again, not a lot of room means nowhere to put things, like a change of clothes or toiletries. Also, the mirror was hung in an awkward position, and to use it, I had to squat down quite a bit (and I'm only 5'6").

Review 79：We used to stay here back in the 80's because it was cheap and clean and comfortable. Haven't stayed in Bend since. Found it on the Internet and was curious to see how it had changed over all those years. It had changed, but only for the better. Still quite inexpensive, very comfortable and very well maintained and clean. I love that they've kept the basic features from so long ago. It was totally full the night we stayed.

Review 85：The place was super clean and quiet. The location seemed to be just a turn or two from everywhere we wanted to go. And the staff that were operating had a quiet dignity. They helped us with special requests and got out room spic and span again while we were out the first day! Was a great experience!

Review 87：The guy who checked us in was a bit rude. He didn't look at us and seemed like he was annoyed that we were there. It was probably one of the most oddest check-ins we've had. The heater was a bit out-dated but it worked ok. If we were to have gone snowboarding then my concern is that our clothes and gear probably wouldn't dry over night. The air conditioner (we didn't use since it was the middle of winter) was set at the window so we could hear noise from people walking by or even cars driving from the street. If anyone was smoking outside, the smoke would probably get in as well.
Review 88：Clean room with unique theme. Wifi worked ok since not many people stayed there during the time we were there. I checked yelp and the weather but it would not have been fast enough to watch Netflix.
Review 89：I've seen smaller rooms, but there wasn't a lot of extra space in our single King room. Location is pretty close to most things in Bend if you're driving, but doesn't seem like a great area for walking around.
Review 90：The room was nicely furnished and clean. Service at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a nice room to sleep for the night without without overspending, this is the place for you. There's a nice doughnut shop down the road.
Review 91：Incredibly clean little hotel. By looking at it from the outside, I would have never guessed how nice it was inside. The owner upgraded us to a mini suit without us even asking for it. Our room had a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker. The bedding was clean and fresh, the room was spotless. The outside appearance of the hotel is very deceiving. You will be surprise how nice it is inside.I will definitely come back.

The luxuriously-dressed bed was extremely comfortable The property is older, possibly dating from the 1940s or '50s, but every effort has been made to keep things well-maintained and pleasant. The cheerful, marigold-filled flower boxes were very welcoming. Best of all, it's a pet-friendly motel! Great value, too.

Review 110：The Manager was very nice and offered us a room that we had requested. I loved the decor, the retro refrigerator. It was within walking distance to Rite Aid and a local Mexican restaurant. It was on the south end of Bend close to the Lava Land park. The room was clean and you could tell they took pride in their hotel. I would stay there again.
Review 111：We had trouble with the toilet & a 6" red spot behind sink & wall (blood?). The remote did not work, comforter was dirty, lamp & desk chair was wobbly. Bathroom entry was so small you had to go sideways to enter & we are not big people. We would never stay there again.

Review 115：I loved the room decor. How fun to have a room that doesn't look like a copy of every other motel room in a chain. And my room smelled faintly of vanilla and sandalwood. The establishment welcomes pets. There are several restaurants and fast food places nearby, and a great coffee kiosk. Gas stations are nearby as well.

The decor made us feel we had been transported back to the 1950s. Beds are rather too firm for my taste, so I slept fitfully. Should have taken my camping air mattress to put on top of the bed.
Review 121：I reserved this motel for 4 weary pct Thru-Hikers as my trail magic.They told me that everything was great, the owners were there, veryaccommodating, it is a decent walk to the old mill area-they endedup renting bikes for ease in transportation, they would def staythere again.
