Reviews for Eben House

Review 1:Absolutely beautiful B&B!Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Great location! Great morning breakfast. We will definitely be back! (& we will bring our own glitter this time!)

Review 2:It was a little weird that there was no top sheet on the bed, only the fitted sheet and comforter.

Review 3:Had an amazing time! The bed was so comfortable and the room was extremely clean. Staff was pleasant and grounds were beautiful! Perfect location to downtown Ptown

Review 4:Our experience at Eben House was an unexpected pleasure. The interior design was classic, contemporary, comfortable and clever all at the same time. We enjoyed the breakfast and the coffee was especially good. We even had a great time with the other guests!

Review 5:Great breakfast room and outdoor deck. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean; the only place that seemed a little overlooked was the bathroom floor. Shower, sink and commode were all very clean. Nice king size bed.

Review 6:We stayed here 4 or 5 times when it was the fairbanks inn, but you have done a fantastic job making our stay an even more enjoyable experience. The modern upgrades to the look and feel of the house is wonderful and the central air was a great addition as well. Hope to see you next year!

Review 7:sink in bathroom was small and shelf above made it difficult to use, especially for washing one's face.

Review 8:The staff was amazing. Helpful, available. Great sense of style. Fabulous breakfast.

Review 9:A bit the noise from the main street and from the kitchen early in the morning (we had a room on the ground floor). The rooms are pricey but the experience really nice.

Review 10:The décor of the rooms and the comfort of the place, the lovely outdoor areas, the friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast.

Review 11:Loved it here. Staff is amazing and welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Room styled beautifully. Wifi service in all of ptown is terrible. But did have service in my room.

Review 12:Over priced. We have enjoyed The Fairbanks Inn for many years...fewer froo froos, better (mutch!)price. We will have to re think continuing our summer visits in view of the costs...

Review 13:Since we had a room facing the street on the 1st floor, it was a little noisy in the late evening.

Review 14:Beautiful design in the entire house, very nice breakfast room, tasty breakfast, very comfy bed, great shower and bathroom

Review 15:First off, The breakfast was ok. But not like other B&B in Ptown .In the afternoons they left no coffee/tea's or cookies if youwanted some to pick on. And for $1,500 for the weekend it was sort of adisappointment. Other B&B left you these amenities.IN YOUR ROOM: they leave you Bottled water But No refills. (And we were there for 5 days). They leave you ear plugs at night. And I can see why. At first I thought is was a joke. But it wasn't. The noise level is HIGH. Doors banging people running up and down stairs at 2:00-3:00 am. With little regard for the other guest. (Management could put a sign up on the front door saying "PLEASE BE KIND DO NOT SLAM THE FRONT DOOR"). Then when you finally get to sleep The kitchen staff starts in. Slamming door banging at yelling and laughing loudly 6:50 am. I don't know why as there only serving coffee / teas and a few small things. Why all the NOISE ?! We have stayed at other B&B in Ptown for more than 10 years that serve 3x the amount of cooked food. And didn't make that much noise. They never replaced the soaps / shampoo / Conditioner. The AC didn't work well. And had a terrible stink from it. Why ? Because the filters were so filthy. An inch of BLACK dirt on them. I tried to get a hold of the staff to do this. But they were nowhere to be found. So I had to cleaned the filters myself. Only then did the air clear up. How sad that is that they can not keep up with the simplest things like checking a filter on an AC every other week.

Review 16:The bed. Comfortable. But sheets could use bleaching. (Marks on them.)

Review 17:The staff! Amazing place, everyone made us feel so welcome. The location too and the overall quality of the facilities and the beautiful surroundings. I can't fault Eben House.

Review 18:Very little didn't suit. Parked off site but they provided the space 2 blocks away. One doesn't use cars in PTown anyway. Was a little challenging figuring out how to open the outside door for breakfast. But an inside traveler showed me. You don't want to miss breakfast, that is for sure!! ;)

Review 19:Breakfast was divine; was sorry to miss it second morning when I had to leave early. Generous with the air conditioning. The whole place is remodeled and exceptional. The staff greeted me and answered all questions. Couldn't be closer to the center of things but one block from Commercial Street.

Review 20:We could hear some noise from street and room didn't have blackout panels.

Review 21:Service was great. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The room was really cleaned, well decorated and comfortable.

Review 22:If there is anything at all is that being a coffee-Holic, I would have loved coffee earlier than 8am as I am an early riser but nothing was bad at this B&B.

Review 23:Stayed here for an evening and was upgraded to a superior room upon arrival. It is close to Commercial Street and all the action. Park your car and wander. Dealt with Julia and Daniel and they were very welcoming and lovely.

Review 24:Best place to stay in Provincetown. Cute, quaint and clean house that provides you great accommodations and a staff that aims to please. You'll regret it if you don't stay there!

Review 25:These guys are tops when it comes to being human and kind and very charming- the property-- has been in trouble for years.. this Fall they will do a major re-vamp and things wiill be quite different- so I will hold off--until we meet again- they have the touch as they say- with breakfast- and quality of being-- now the design, Can't wait-- As its been said- the BEST is yet to come--- and they purchased this spot with a great need for loving care... Good luck guys--- see you next year!

Review 26:the staff was extremely helpful. I arrived late and a staff person was responsible in making sure I was settled in for the night. the room I slept was large, nicely furnished, had a fireplace and had a most comfortable king size bed and I slept great. I loved the breakfasts and it carried me over for dinner. dinner recommendations were both greatly appreciated and quite accurate. definitely recommend Fairbanks inn and plan to return next year. in additions this winter renovations for the rooms are scheduled to take place and will additional for the guests. you will not be disappointed.

Review 27:Price was too high for what we got Breakfast was too special, no regular stuff to eat

Review 28:Nice boutique hotel, feels like a small hotel in Europe. Staff was extremely nice and inviting

Review 29:I wish I couldve stayed longer!

Review 30:Excellent location, my room was ready for me at 11am, quiet room, comfortable bed, great shower, friendly helpful staff, continental breakfast & parking included in room rate

Review 31:The bathroom door coincide with the sink so you would not be able to stand in front of the sink with the door open. We had to kill off 3 spiders but it's the summer and we are next to the garden. I just have a fear of them.

Review 32:Breakfast was amazing. The menu changed everyday when we were there. The staffs worked diligently to make us comfortable. The location and the parking was great as well. I loved the sunroom and that it's located next to a garden.

Review 33:The only think that I didn't like was the bathroom size which was really small. But since we were there for just one night, it worked very well. If I would stay for more than 2 nights I would request a room with a bigger bathroom.

Review 34:Loved the location, close to Commercial Street. It is a very charming bed and breakfast and they offer a delicious and well prepared breakfast. This is a place where the owners pay attention to every little detail. My kind of place.
