Review 1：Obvious things not clean. Told me they did a sloppy, quick service. Blood drops on wall right by toilet paper roll. Coffee maker not cleaned. Food crusted on side of microwave. Also to use the microwave you must unplug the small refrigerator
Review 2：The location. Able to leave the car And walk to Ocean. Nice having the small refrigerator in room. Also booking at the last minute had its advantage. The price had dropped from $105 to $90 per day.
Review 3：the room was dusty, several burned out light bulbs, the tv didn't work, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, when asked for an extra blanket I was given a small plastic floor heater that smelled like garlic when I turned it on, parking difficult.

Review 9：The experience. Room had old plastic vodka bottles with cigarettes behind the bed stand. Made the room smell like old cigarette and it was a no smoking room. Room was worn down with holes in the wall. We went to use our TV and the power cable had been cut and spliced in two places. The concern was that the copper was exposed and bare at each of the splice points. The cord was next to the curtain. Finally. I know the place is doing renovations but the material was placed at the egress point of the stairs. Finally I didn't feel safe sleeping due to the shady occupants that reside for a longer durations.

Review 11：I wouldn't stay there again. If I knew what I was getting into I wouldn't have paid $200 for 2 nights, maybe $100. There was mold in the bathroom. The lamp was full of dead bugs. Dirty and run down, pictures can be deceiving. Didn't have a choice since we had no other place to stay.

Review 13：Room 24 has no heater. You will get a Space heater. You would have to ask for it or complain. Inspect the room before you give payment The room was dirty. Even have leftovers trash from the last guest. Arrived on time the room was not ready until after and one hour and a half which is about 430 pm already yet it's still dirty. Ice machine broken at the time I was there. Worn down towel better old rag for your car.

Review 19：There is no coffee maker. The worst thing for me is the tempura of shower water. It was quite cold (less than 10 degree C) at night. The water for shower somehow is not hot enough, barely warm, but def not hot. However the sink water is super hot. Weird.
Review 20：The location is perfect! No complaint! It is literally a block away from the ocean! The room is newly painted. It got refrig and microwave, hair blow dryer and cable TV. The room looks quite new and clean. The price is very reasonable considered I booked it last minute and around holiday season.
Review 21：When we arrived, we received our room keys and went to our room but the room hadn't been serviced yet. They told us our room wouldn't be ready for another hour, so we decided to go to the Morro Bay museum. After returning about two hours later, we went to our room but it still wasn't ready. Fortunately, we were given a different room that was already ready and they apologized for the delay. The bed felt very stiff... woke up with back pain.
Review 22：So close to the Embarcadero street. Just parked our car at the hotel and walked to the restaurants and stores at the Embarcadero street. The beach is less then a mile away if you feel like taking a walk.

Review 32：The motel was located only a block from the Embarcadero, the promenade along the bay with great shops and cafes. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was equiped with a refrigerator, micro and coffeemaker.

Review 39：It seems like the hotel is being renovated, but the room we got was not worth the price. The room reeked of cigarette smoke accumulated throughout years. The owner denied the smell and expressed no sympathy when we brought it up. The hotel website and the description on Booking.com both stated that the facility offered free continental breakfast, which was an important factor for me when I booked the hotel. Unfortunately, this was not the case. No breakfast offered.

Review 42：BEDBUGS in our room. We left immediately after discovering them and informing the owner, who asked us if we had brought the bedbugs with us from home in our clothes...the nerve! They were everywhere - on the bed, walls, restroom floor, and carpet!! No air conditioner but a box fan was provided at no extra charge.

Staff in reception did not seem to care, just shrugged their shoulders. An apology was not offered. There was a metal bar poking out from under the mattress, hidden by the bedspread that one of our party bruised herself on. Service everywhere else we stayed during our 3 week trip in the USA was fantastic.

Rust in the bathtub and the plug didn't work so I couldn't take a bath! The bedstand had a layer of dust on it. Friday I complained because there were no parking spots open in the lot. It appeared someone was having a party in one of the rooms, and we had to park around the block! When I complained I was told my room didn't include a parking place! And they never cleaned the room! Horrible!!!!!!

A/C in unit was very efficient but with the great weather at night, it's hardly necessary, just open a window & let the cool breeze in, in the daytime though, it works really good.

Review 100：I hated the fact that the website said it was pet friendly but when I got there, the man insisted I was not charged for the dog, and that the price online did not include the let fee. I showed him my confirmation email which included in writing that my dog was accompanying me, and I was still robbed of an additional $35. The room was also gross - towels were stained, I killed a roach, and poorly ventilated. There was no air conditioning unit, and I had to borrow a fan from there maid. My suggestion is to stay at another hotel!

We wanted to leave after seeing the disgusting room and he would not refund the money. This is the worst place I have ever stayed!

Review 121：Well...when we arrived we had to pay in advance for the stay. The clerk assumed that I was paying by credit card and I was paying in cash. We he charged my credit card I told him that when I made the reservation I clearly stated I was paying by cash. So when he tried to credit my card he ended up charging my card again. So at that point I had made 3 payments for the one room. I was told that the manager was coming to correct the mistake and make the adjustments. After numerous trips to the office to straighten it out....it took two days of being persistent in correcting their mistake. There was construction going on above our room. Before leaving we called and they said the construction was completed, but evidently it was not....

The people were very friendly, the location is within easy walking distance of anything you would want to do in Morro Bay. If you are looking for turned down sheets and a chocolate on your pillow then bypass this place , take out your wallet and move on ... otherwise I would recommend this place for a very affordable nights sleep.

Review 130：It was extremely overpriced for what you got. (Cal Poly graduation weekend) I paid $675 for two nights. I don't pay that much for nice hotels so I was very upset when I arrived to see how run down the motel was. My bedspread had a cigarette hole in it. Only one of the 4 lightbulbs worked. The bathroom door had problems closing. We could hear the people's conversation next door and the tv. Our room was located in the corner yet we could hear the cars drive by. The continental breakfast was pathetic and was located in tiny lobby with no chairs or tables. It was added later to compete with other motels/hotels. I was really upset to blow that kind of money there!
Review 131：The location only. We accidentally left my son's pillow in the room after we left the key cards on table because we were checking out. It was 6:00am and we had to ring the bell to waken the clerk. We were scared he wouldn't come out but he surprised us and did give us another key. Phew!

Review 133：The television cable wasn't working half the time/patched holes in walls in multiple areas and not painted/no hairdryer/ no a/c in rooms, needed to keep windows open and it was hot/ no working hotel phone in case you needed the lobby, i had to go down 3 times to talk to hotel operator about the cable not working. if i had none about lack of a/c i wouldn't have stayed there!Price was boutique. Free breakfast consisted of coffee and two types of cereal! Wish i had none!

Review 135：The room was pretty darn small, the walls were thin making it easy to hear conversations, snoring and walking of our neighbors. Also on our last day one of the staff cleaners opened our door without our consent. We were in bed, luckily it had a safety latch that prevented him from opening it all the way.
