Review 1：Maintenance man objected in a grossly inappropriate manner to my wife for feeding stray cats who had wandered into the parking lot. He was offensive, crude, and vicious. Motel owner was rude and clearly lacking any ability to deal with customers in touchy situations.

Review 4：Bathroom light and to let didn't work. The tool a queen size room and turned it into a double. The door did not fit into the frame. You could see into the room. Questionable activities
Review 5：Didn't like that there were bugs in the room and also that housekeeping didn't clean the room. She stated that we put a sign on the door not to clean, although we were gone before she came around. So no one cleaned the room for the 2 days we were there. Also the bed was low to the ground and lumpy. Thankfully we brought our own comforters.
Review 6：I liked the hardwood floors in the room. Haven't been to a hotel that had hardwood floors before, so that was different. Also liked the affordability of it since it was Labor day weekend.

Review 8：We had to get off the road due to weather and it was inexpensive and expedient. The owner (Dan I think) was very helpful and friendly.
Review 9：The pool was being drained or was drained during our stay. Very close to interstate, and had a wood/ faux wood flooring that really made it seem clean and odor-less/clean smelling. That was actually really nice. No flatscreen and that really bugs me because they're just so darn cheap now, why not drop a dime and update the rooms even more?
Review 10：The hardwood/wood plank flooring. Eliminated any smells due to the fact that this hotel is pet friendly. We couldn't smell any pet odor at all!

Review 13：It was "clean enough" but it could have/should have been cleaner. Shower stall floor was cracked in several places. Noisy neighbors upstairs. I was too tired & groggy to pick up the phone & complain, so that's on me for not griping about it. That's just circumstances anyway, and has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel.

Review 15：Our room needed updating badly. The comforters/bed spreads were old, dingy, dirty and were riddled with cigarette burn holes. You had to go to the office to get ice? The price paid was much too high for the quality of the room. Thank goodness we were only staying one night!

Review 25：We were traveling from Houston, Tx. We were traveling with our 19 and 20 year old son. We needed to save money. We stayed at a Motel 6 before and was very nice and indoor. This is an older edition but it was still fine. We were able to get a downstairs room and back up our car right outside our window. But these are things we liked: price, cable, wi-fi, nice hot shower, staff was very friendly
Review 26：The hotel was old. The tv was hard to turn on. The price was higher than others around the area. We had prebooked expecting Motel 6 to be one of the better priced hotels in the area. Would not recommend this hotel.

Review 28：The room was smelly, filthy and full of bugs. We didn't stay but 3 minutes. A quick inspection of the bed revealed bed bugs scurrying into the pillow. We got our money back and they admitted that there were problems with the bugs.
Review 29：booked online with booking.com for a non smoking room when I got there because there was a group of people that had came prior to me checking in my room was given to one of them and I was given a smoking room which smelled like smoke I did not think that it was fair that I had booked online prior to arriving several days before arriving and I had my room given to someone that showed up that evening to book a room.

Review 33：Very creepy area, lots of door slamming all night and felt very uneasy traveling alone. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Check in desk was a bit put off that my booking confirmation was not in her possession. No hair dryer, shampoo or other items that have become standard.
Review 34：The bathroom shower had mold all around the edges of the door and the floor. The tile was very dirty. The floor was covered in dust and under the edges of the bed there was lots of dirt, animal hair and dust. The worst part was I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed something move on me like an ant but when I crushed it there was a large spot of blood around it. It was a bed bug........nasty. The maids need to do a better job cleaning the rooms.

Review 116：The very strong smell if smoke permeating throughout the rooms. The outdated/damaged furniture in the rooms/ The fact I did not get the room I wanted even after making reservations. I have stayed here for several years for a couple days each year and I have noticed the downfall of the rooms overall. I like the fact I can always get the rooms by the pool but this did not occur. I am pretty confident I will not return when for just $20 more I can get a clean, fresh and modern room at La Quinta or Red Roof.
