Review 1：The deadbolt on our door didn't work
Review 2：Very clean. Everything seemed pretty new. Friendly front desk attendant called me when I was late for checking in. She was super nice and let me check in late. I thought room was a great value for the money.
Review 3：There were used towels in the bathroom from a previous guest. I'm sure that they were overlooked when the room was last cleaned.

Review 6：We felt welcome from the moment we stepped on property. The owner greeted us at check in and we settled into our room right away. The location was great! Just a 5 minute drive from downtown and the beach. The staff was really helpful and answered all our questions about where to eat and nice places to check out around town. We'll definitely be staying here again next time we're in Lake Geneva!

Review 9：The new owners just took over and they're working out a few bugs but all-in-all we had a great stay. Close enough to town to walk but far enough away so it was quiet and peaceful. The owners are great and willing to do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. One of the owners offered to make a beer run if needed! They are planning many renovations and I believe it's the best place for your buck.

Review 12：The room carpet and couch needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Window drapes need new anchor and drawstring and minifridge freezer compartment was iced-up and unable to be used.
Review 13：This place had the cheapest rates I could find in Lake Geneva. It's a family-owned spot.The staff was nice. location is resonably close to downtown strip and beach. Parking was easy and plentiful and room was nice size.

Review 23：The Diplomat is not a fancy place, but the staff is friendly, the shower is hot, and it is clean. The area is safe, and it is in Lake Geneva where every other room in the town is an astronomical price. It is your basic "ham and a chair" of a room. Spend your money on souvenirs instead of your hotel!
Review 24：The fuse kept blowing when I was trying to blow dry my hair and there wasn't any morning coffee available. Even if they don't want to put coffee makers in the room they could at least have some in the office area. Everyone needs their java jolt in the AM.
Review 25：The Hotel was an average hotel. Nothing special but it was clean & a place to rest our heads. The rooms are dated a bit. It does have a nice outdoor pool and is located close enough to the local attractions in the downtown Lake Geneva area. We stayed at this hotel because there wasn't any other rooms available for the weekend. However, it wasn't a bad nights sleep, the rooms were clean & we would stay here again.

Review 33：Our group respected the rules, and we were shown a lot of respect. The rooms were clean; we were given extra towels, the refrigerator was a nice convenience. The pool was great (I wish we'd had more time!) - and we could even have barbecued! (I also forgot there was coffee available in the office.) All in all, a nice place to stay and do Lake Geneva. Ask the manager for some suggestions re meals and activities!
