Reviews for Sage Inn and Lounge
Review 1:would liked to have seen a bit more going on in town for the holiday weekend, however, there were still plenty of things to do, see and a few places to shop. Wished the breakfast had an option of mimosa, or bloody mary's lol
Review 2:love the location, friendly staff, prices were reasonable for the MLK weekend and super cool that it was pet friendly! Like the fact that the hotel has a lot of cool ideas, gatherings, a lounge that is open until later then some other places and the intimate group of local people that are willing to answer and accommodate however they can! impressive! The breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean!
Review 3:Some idiot (guest) sitting at a table next to us was complaining about the music......he was talking to the MGR about it in a somewhat rude way. I thought it was great for the vibe, but he certainly could have brought up his opinion in a more professional manner!
Review 4:Lounge is phenomenal...very relaxing! The music was perfect and the overall vibe was superb! Ordered a Mojito and the bartender went to the garden for the mint...awesome!!
Review 5:Despite it being mid-week, off-season, the only 2 guest rooms rented were right next to each other. There was no sound proofing between rooms. We could actually hear the normal conversation of the guests next door. They could hear our TV and let us know it with a few bangs on the wall between our rooms. Plus they charged $10 to park in their near empty parking lot.
Review 6:Great location. Staff was very nice and accommodating.
Review 7:I reserved parking but was told none available when I arrived even though I saw many empty spaces. Could hear people and running water in adjacent rooms. Nobody told me elevator would lock early as would downstairs restaurant, causing me confusion and concern.
Review 8:Would have liked more sound insulation between rooms. The bed shared a common wall with the next unit and we heard a little more than we needed too
Review 9:Friendly and knowledgeable staff
Review 10:Only complaint: The cable and WiFi were horribly erratic when I was there. The cable connection would come and go frequently. I finally turned the TV off. And the WiFi reception wasn't much better.
Review 11:I generally love this place. The staff was excellent and the facilities are very comfortable and well-appointed. Location is great without being in the middle of all the traffic and noise.
Review 12:Since Sage is in the middle of town - you can hear too much outside. Also it was difficult to block out oall the light from the outside. Not bad but it could have been darker at night. Easier to sleep.
Review 13:The people were lovely -- great service and friendliness. I felt very relaxed during my stay. The breakfast was a nice touch. I was glad the breakfast food was nutritious. The room and bathroom were very clean and staff went out of their way to be consistent and helpful. there is a lounge up on the second floor that you can just hang out and read - very relaxing. Also outside - can sit on veranda and talk or eat , etc. Lastly, it is close to grocery, restaurants, and has private parking. Very nice.
Review 14:Walls are very thin. Plumbing goes through cut out in ceiling, you hear water go through very loudly every time a neighbor flushes, showers, or uses the sink. If someone talks in the hallway it sounds like they are in the room with you. I reserved a parking spot but was told upon checkin that it was not on my reservation. No apology. The only positive about this inn is its location.
Review 15:Location
Review 16:As with all the older places, thinner walls and floors and ceilings. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.
Review 17:The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The whole complex was so clean the wife kept running her fingers over the surfaces. Not a dinner place, had small plate meals with great wine. The renovations have turned this into a chic, classy Inn.
Review 18:The continental breakfast leaves a bit to be desired as the only hot food is bagels you toast yourself. Fewer selections of fruit and yogurt off season. The coffee lacks pizzaz but it's a short walk up commercial street to the wired puppy. Worst feature: accoustics! try to get a room on the upper level otherwise you will hear everything the folks in the room above are doing. Why didn't put sound buffering in during the renovation?
Review 19:Very stylish, understated contempory decor. Very low key. the staff was super helpful with booking a couples massage for us at a nearby spa. Full lounge has nice selection of BEvERages, cocktails and well-prepared, tasty snacks.
Review 20:My only complaint is that it being the off season the front desk closed early and it was not as convenient to get back in to the inn. An early checkout was also not possible due to the desk beind closed at 8am.
Review 21:It was clean , people were friendly, centrally located, parking, very helpful desk staff with directions etc.
Review 22:Breakfast was poor. Needed to be fresher with more selection or not provided at all.
Review 23:Really nice decorated hotel. Brilliant showers. Parking was a bonus.
Review 24:Wish there was a fridge in the room and an iron!
Review 25:Location was awesome! Sage in has great space to hang around in! Beds and pillows soooooo comfortable!!
Review 26:If there was only one thing, it would be the parking. It is very limited to 6 or 7 cars, so we had to park at wharf parking which was $32 for 24 hours, so prepared for no parking available.
Review 27:This hotel was an amazing surprise. The GM was great and including the staff. We were literally 10 seconds from commercial and centre to everything. Loved it! Thanks again for a great time and great location. We will be back for sure!!
Review 28:Rooms are a little smaller then I would have liked.

Review 57:Very friendly and attentive staff, great location in Provincetown. The hotel is very well designed, with a nice lobby. Great selection of drinks and decent breakfast. Very good value for money.
Review 58:That we had to leave.
Review 59:The simple and fresh design of the rooms and the wonderfully thick white sheets and towels. We also loved the Sage Lounge located on the main floor. The bar tender is a sweetie and makes the best Cosmopolitan in P-Town. The staff can't seem to do enough for you and are always smiling. We will definitely return to the Sage Inn during our next visit.
Review 60:The limited parking was a bit of an annoyance. The initial reservation did not clearly indicate that parking had to be reserved as well as a room. This would not, however, deter us from staying here again. Also, our 'neighbor' had a small dog which they left unattended and the dog barked for over two hours. We tried to call to complain but no one answered the front desk...
Review 61:The staff was wonderful.
Review 62:Walls are very thin and headboards are against the same walls. Our neighbors were in bed by 9 and up at 4:30. We heard them snore all night and talk in the morning.
Review 63:Staff. Decor. They've done a great job upgrading the rooms.
Review 64:The rooms were a little noisy from people in the hallways and the restrooms for the lounge we're located upstairs.
Review 65:Great service and excellent cocktails - the bartender was innovative!
Review 66:Quite a bit of noise coming from the room above us. When we return we will request a room on the top floor.
Review 67:Great location. Comfortable, trendy décor. Excellent food. Very accommodating staff other than our first waiter who was a bit distracted. The owner apologized and comped our meal which was very nice. Will definitely stay here again.
Review 68:Restaurant wasn't open on Monday/Tuesday.
