Review 1：Location is GREAT! Beds were really comfortable. The ocean view was really nice. It's worth paying that little extra. Staff was very friendly.

I have stayed 3 other places in Morro Bay for far less $ that had a balcony and were far more convenient. The town is teeny so location is not better than any other place.

Review 21：Our booking was for 2 rooms, but it got mixed up and only had us down for one. They sorted us the 2nd room out without any problems, and in fact upgraded it to a room with a sea view. My little girl was poorly the evening we arrived, so we wanted to get her in to bed as soon as we could. Checking it was quick, and efficient. I would have loved to have been able to spend more time there. Morro Bay is such a lovely little place to stop.

Review 22：It was disheartening to find out from your clerk that our credit card would be billed an additional $20 for damages even if there were no damages incurred. It was explained that the $20 would be returned after 5 days if there were no damages. This was never stated up front, or at the time of check-in!

Review 23：The elevator & hallway smelled of smoke/tobacco. I was afraid it was going to be in our room as well. Thank goodness it was not.

Review 29：There wasn't much that we didn't like. We felt the room was a little expensive. The continental breakfast could be improved upon. But we planned ahead for this little trip, just before christmas and would stay again.

Review 30：Spent three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We were celebrating both of our birthdays and anniversary. Room was cleaned and restocked in a short amount of time, while we were gone. Had a terrific view of Morro Rock.

Review 31：Our room REEKED of some kind of extremely strong and annoying air freshener or carpet freshener. We had to sleep with the window open and fan on. Would have stayed longer, but couldn't tolerate the obnoxiously strong odor. Staff not helpful in suggesting a solution.

Review 49：Good location in Morro Bay right near the waterfront. We had a spacious, clean, and comfortable room with all the necessaries including fast wifi. The staff were very good. The breakfast was standard motel food, but the baked goods were good - they seemed "real" and not from a package. No eggs, but they did have yogurt for a bit of protein. Excellent value for the money and if I come through again I will stay here.

Review 50：Issue with garage noise. A couple came in on their Harleys and decided to leave early in the morning. So they reved the motors and them sit and run to warm up. This rattled the whole place. You may want to see if you can reserve a room in the main building, however you may then get noise from the embaradero, or maybe ask for a 3rd floor room and the noise from the garage may be less apparent.

Review 51：Just a block from the embarcadero made it easy to go down by the water or walk a couple of blocks to downtown. All rooms have a view of the water and were nicely decorated. Staff was especially friendly and helpful.

Review 56：Morro Bay is a lovely calm refuge midway between San Francisco and LA. It has a characterful waterfront with colourful individualised craft and souvenir shops and a wide variety of restaurants. We wished we'd stayed longer to try out some of the water activities in the sheltered bay or visit Hearst Castle or San Luos Obispo. The Blue Sail offered genuine and warm hospitality and the inclusion of comprehensive continental breakfast was a bonus. Would certainly return.

Review 57：The staff were all without exception friendly and helpful, the hotel was in a good location and comfortable and clean.views of the rock from the room window were perfect and you can walk everywhere, there is good parking for the car.Continental Breakfast was pretty good too .We enjoyed our stay in Morrow Bay, what a lovely place and we loved the family of sea otters up by the rock!
