Review 1：I almost got myself killed by the mats in the room. Poor breakfast. We only got the breakfast menus when we finished eating the 2 types of ''bruschetti''

Review 3：The owner needs to spend a couple of thousand euros on infrastructure and maintainance. Room door panel fell out; shelves in wardrode very loose, curtains fell ogf, bathroom floor flooded when you showered; toilet flush didnt work properly; many lightbulbs not working. It has potential be be a quirky antique hotel, but needs to get its act together.

Review 7：Starting with the barrier at the entrance, which has to be put up by hand, continuing with smelly lobby, the elevator that only goes up to the first floor, questionable taste in decorating the lobby (kind of 90's style - which also shows the year that this hotel has not been renovated, I think), wall decorations falling off, need to ask for air con remote control (who does that this times), unfriendly "pay before stay" announcements at front desk and more and more... All these for more than 100 eur per night? Are you for real?

Review 16：Why? We could buy croissants who were on the menu but never available. The rooms were very dirty, leaking and obstructed sanitary. Towels were not fresh, sheets with holes, personal unfriendly. If we not had paided ahead we would not had stayed. Never we have seen that before.

Review 18：The stuff was unfriendly, rude and disorganized. Problem starts at thebeginning- big mess with check in – finally we get the key to the roomwhich was already occupied by other people! The biggest inconveniencewas the fact that toilet flush in our room was broken. We have to usetoilet in restaurant of the hotel! We spent 2 nights in this hotel. Weinform staff about problem with toilet at the beginning of our arrival(just after check-in) - they promise us to repair the problem nestmorning. Of course anybody help us. The manager of the hotel explain usthat it is not his fault, but the plumber, who didn’t come on time (wehad signalize the problem many times). Breakfast- not so bad, but partof meals from menu wasn’t available. Parking- at the hotel website weread the information that the parking place is included into price ofroom; parking is a small area vis-à-vis entrance to a hotel (for about 4cars)- to be honest it is not a parking but a driveway for taxi! Finallyexchange rate – hotel charge us in ron despite we booked room in eur,exchange rate was far from the actual market level.

Review 20：Staff very rude. They told us that they would be cleaning only every other day which was not in the original booking. Also, they told us that they would be collecting rubbish every day, but they didn't at all. Consistently ignored calls to the reception. When we went down there, there were two people present. Forgot controller for air condition, but it was sorted once we asked for it. Very poor attitude from staff. No toilet paper. Broken tub, which could not be emptied. They refused to repair until after we left, and we could not take showers in the bathroom. Bed linen very old. Broken fridge, which we were accused of having broken ourselves when we reported it. The food was not up to four star standards. The "orange juice" was orange squash. The menu was very limited in choice. The portions were very small, but not in a gourmet way. For instance, the bread was stale and untoasted. They serve old end-bits as well. When we ordered cereal, we only got the bowl with the cereal, but no milk/yogurt. No thought or care given by staff at all. Would not recommend - stay away.

Review 22：I had a problem with a decoration fox that scared the hell out of me. To many animals that were not fitting the ambient. Wet towels when they were supose to be dry an the explanation that we got for that. 20 minutes to be checked in considering that we were the only ones there by that time. Calling many times the reception prior our arriving to tell them that we gonna check in later than we supose to and nobody answered.

Review 24：- staff not very friendly and not very well prepared - rooms are dirty and it smell very bad inside like a very old house - air conditionning not working - old tv - the sheets are brooken also the cortins - the room cleaning is made only on demand and the only change the towels thats it for one week - the food is horrible and for the breakfeast you can order only few things and you have to wait half an hour the time for the personal to go in the supermarket next door to buy the ingredients (they do so for every client sorry we dont have it and they run and buy it :) - they tried to charge me more at the end saying that the prices/room changed althouh i had a reservation on booking - i dont recommand it for the same price in Constanta you can find better for sure

Review 26：We didn't like The dead stuffed animals, poor wifi, poor attitude from staff, no ironing facilities. Booked a double room but got 2 twin beds pushed together. I stepped in a pool of water in the bathroom when I first went in, there was 2 tea bags to make a drink, no milk, coffee or sugar though. There was 1 toilet roll in the bathroom. Loose fittings all over. It's a good job we only stopped 1 night otherwise I would have got a refund and stayed elsewhere. I hardly complain. I review every hotel I stay at and this is by far the worst and the first negative review I have given. To conclude AVOID this hotel.

The hotel is located on a busy intersection, near the hospital, that means twenty-four hours noise from ambulances. This is not a four star hotel, I would not recommend it to anyone! Review 29：The room was dirty. They only probably changed the sheets and towels, in between guests. When I told that to the receptionist, on my way out, she told me that they are pretty busy and don’t have time to check the rooms before the arrival of the guests.

Review 75：The interior design of the hotel was 'interesting', but not 'bad'. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The Constanta beach was within walking distance (20 mins) but through a not so great neighbourhood, and Mamaia was just 15 mins by bus from outside the hotel

Simple > The hotel has a lot to offer, but i think the management is zero! This in the right hands could be a verry good place.but...Bad management! That`s for sure!... Review 80：We stayed in Hotel Balada Nej for three nights. Our room was not cleanedon any of the days and towels replaced only on request. We had breakfastincluded, which means you order your choice of food from the menu,however in order to choose you need to wait rather long for waitress totake order and you food arrives at slow peace as well. On one occasionwhen we wanted to ask something at the reception we were totally ignoredas receptionist didn't speak English, she didn't even try tocommunicate just walked away. On other occasion I was ordering the taxiat the reception and as I was making sure that I was being wellunderstood I was sarcastically smiled on for my efforts. It is supposedto be four star hotel but staff behavior is certainly not! The hotel isnot near Constanta city center or beach, however there are buses runningthere outside the hotel.

Review 81：The staff was absolutely rude and unprepared to answer questions. Peaces of furniture in the room were badly fixed and fragile. Esthetics over practicality.

Very poor location on a busy intersection, lots of traffic noise, and the airco controller was not provided in the room. A few items listed on the breakfast menu were not available, staples such as cappucino and croissant. Internet connection was spotty at best.

Review 84：The best thing I can come up with to say is the towels are soft and fluffy. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was plentiful (as long as they had what you ordered off the menu, not a guarrantee). The Hotel has potential, but not a comfortable stay.

Review 94：Only spent 1 day at Balada Nej but I have to say that was a beautiful experience. Lovely medieval caracter, spotless clean and comfortable with interesting furniture and helpful staff. Restaurant food was excellent but breakfast poor unfortunately. Disappointed with the fact that iron machine was not available on request (embarassing really for a 4 star hotel ) The hotel is facing the biggest boulevard in Constanta but I wasn't a problem for me. My friends were staying in Mamaia so I had to travel 15-20 min by bus which is not ideal but the hotel standard was much better compare with Mamaia's 4 star hotels
