Review 1：First room had smoke detector chirping so had to move to next room which had no hot water in the shower. Called desk. He said he'd come look at it the next morning

Review 4：The rooms are nice, recently remodeled, very attractive. It's just across the street from a Black Bear Diner which had a great breakfast.
Review 5：Lukewarm/cool water in the shower. Walls and doors could have been cleaner.

Review 11：The owners of this hotel are fantastic! They work there and take pride in the facility and especially in their customer service. Booking.com actually overbooked the hotel and the owners found a way to accommodate my reservation. I've stayed there 5-6 times and every time they remember me. They really understand how to run a successful business and make their customers happy. Also this place is clean, neat, has lots of room amenities and is super reasonably priced. You can't beat it.
Review 12：Shower head needed to be fixed: sprayed all over the bathroom. New floor tiles in bathroom are pretty, but very slippery when wet.
Review 13：Room was quite quiet and comfortable. Obvious owners remodeled recently and that cleanliness is important to them. Good price.
Review 14：The walls are paper thin could hear the people taking a shower at 2 am. There was a leak in the shower that soaked the bathroom floor. Could hear the people above us running across their room all night. When booking room it said card would not be charged. Was to hold room only. Then they charged my card the morning before we were to arrive.

Review 17：This motel has been redone, great beds, new bright furnishings, wonderful bathtub/shower with lots of new towels. The price was right, and the front desk person was amazingly helpful.
Review 18：The location is great for getting downtown, but is at an intersection of two fairly busy streets. On a weekend night, expect to hear loud trucks, cars peeling out, and other shenanigans until about 2AM.

Review 31：Upon entering my room, it smelled as if someone had just farted and then sealed it in the room. I figured it would dissipate... nope. Went and purchased air freshener to subdue the smell for the short term. If by definition a "working shower" means water coming from a shower head, then sure, it was a working shower. But it was as if someone shoved a piece of charcoal into a pipe and wanted to see what magic would happen when water was sent through the tip.

Review 33：The legs of one of the two chairs in our room were broken. Lumpy pillows with strange (memory?) foam. Though we told staff at the front desk that we didn't want or need linens changed , etc. (because we didn't have a sign to hang on our doorknob), they still came in our room.
Review 34：Close to downtown and, though right at a busy intersection, we were off the street and toward the back of the building and it was nicely quiet. Comfortable beds, clean room, good price!
Review 35：road noise woke me up, loud cars, trains etc, I realize that's out of their control. The bed was nice to lay on and watch a movie, however sleeping on it was another story. Way too soft, back ached in the morning...not a quality mattress at all.

Review 49：From outside, this motel looks like a total crystal palace. However inside, the rooms have clearly been very recently--- and lovingly!--- painted and hodge-podge decorated and made to feel clean and safe. Honestly, we were expecting WAY less. But we had a wonderfully working fridge, in room coffee pot, clean bedding and a fresh feeling room inside a VERY unassuming exterior. Location was so convenient to downtown and to groceries, the highway, etc. I've stayed in many area motels with FAR less...comforting...clean environments. We will definitely stay again! The owners would do well to freshen up the exterior and sign with the care they've given the interior to let visitors know they're staying somewhere that's actually cared for!

Review 52：They didn't have my reservation. Beds are hard. There was a man smoking outside our door and the smoke came through the windows. When I called front desk to address the matter, they didn't. The second time my colleague went to the front desk to remind them of smoking laws outside of buildings and they didn't seem to know the law.
