Review 1:Checked into room cookie or cracker crumbs all over entry way and on top of tv armouir Bathroom plug did not work so neither did blow dryer had to call they came replaced plug. Next morning my curling iron would not fit in plug was not right receptacle. Not much information in room on the motel and places to eat. Room was sub par for the rates.

Review 2:I loved the band in the bar. The lobby and bar areas were very nice. Elevators were plentiful.

Review 3:Service was slow everywhere we went but the buffet. Lines took forever at both Auntie Anns and the breakfast place. We used the shuttle for the concert and while the convenience of not driving thru traffic was nice the chaos of getting on the shuttle after the concert almost made it not worth it.

Review 4:The environment was clean and inviting. The casino was fun and the buffet had really good food.

Review 5:We wanted to book our stay through DreamTrips but it was $30 more to book there. When we got there the guy at front desk couldn't find our booking so had to go back to car to get confirmation info only to find out when we came back in that when they have an internet booking it comes via fax and not directly over computer (why didn't he know this? Or did he and he was just being lazy and didn't want to go get it?), then they needed a manger to confirm our credit card purchase-waited 10 minutes for them to find mngr. fridge didn't work in our room, no laundry bag, beds were super uncomfortable and workers in restaurant facility very rude. Overall bad experience from the moment we walked in. We travel enough to know that's not normal. :(

Review 6:The room smelled like smoke though it was a non-smoking room. I tried to call the front desk to tell them, yet the phone didn't work. When I told the cleaning lady, she sprayed some air freshener and stated that many of the phones don't work. Think this should have been addressed since they knew it was an issue. Definitely don't think the room was worth the $180/night that I paid. I'd rather pay a little extra at Ameristar where the rooms were much nicer.

Review 10:I thought the casino had a very limited selection of table games. No Let It Ride and just 1 3 Card Poker is unreasonable. I do not mind losing my money, I just want to lose it on my choice of games.

Review 12:With the freeways and easy traffic, getting around St Louis county is a cakewalk from this location. This is a BIG hotel and casino combo (I'm not a gambler) so the price/room is a good value. The staff is courteous, helpful and friendly. In the casino there's free coffee and soft drinks 24/7. Best of all, there's a famous St Louis "Hill" Italian restaurant, Charlie Gitto's (satellite location) on the premises. Darn good food. Darn nice folks. Middle of the darn cornfields!

Review 13:I chose this hotel due to its close proximity to the concert venue we were attending, only to find that the hotel did not offer a courtesy shuttle to the amphitheater. However the hotels much farther away in St. Charles MO. were shuttling there guests to the show

Ran out of toilet tissue and facial tissue within the fist few minutes of my stay and called down to the lobby because it was an emergency & it took housekeeping 30+ min. to reach my room. Since I had someone in the restroom waiting I walked to the lobby and was told that I had to wait for housekeeping and was suggested to use the lobby restroom (remind you this tissue was for another guest waiting) .

Review 54:Everything was overpriced. Our room was dirty on arrival. There were awful smells in the halls and near the restaurants. We could hear toilets flushing in room all around us, extremely loud!!

Review 56:There is no place to eat during the day. Everything is closed until 5PM unless you eat between 6 am and 11:30 am at the coffee shop or go into the casino to do a grab and go. Auntie Ann Pretzel's is the only place to eat until 5pm unless you leave the property and find a place to eat. You will have to travel a bit, unless you love McDonalds which is about 1/4 mile down the road heading towards the interstate.

Review 58:Shuttle service to/from airport. Even though there was some miscommunication on the return from the airport, which we were told was due to staffing problems on 3/9, it is still a positive.

Review 59:I didn't like the fact that the rooms were small and overpriced. I'm not returning because of this very fact. There's another casino about 5 minutes away which has the reputation of having better rooms for the money.

The TV remote would not work and after the maid tried several alternate remotes, she told me to contact the front desk. I was unable to get anybody to answer by phone so had to physically go down to the front desk to get any satisfaction.

Review 64:Was not informed that the place was being renovated. The work crew werestanding around drinking free coffee and soda. Renovation will take avery long time. Shut down and get it done. It was a mess. The grill wasclosed so the sign said go to Sammys for food but it had no dinner menu,just appetizers. Would have eaten before coming if we had known this.

Review 70:I booked online and was led to believe the room would accommodate 4 adults (me, my husband, and 2 of my sisters). Upon arrival, I was told it would not, but a full size roll away bed would be delivered to the room (never seen one). It was a twin bed. The woman at the desk offered one of us to sleep on the floor.

Review 71:I felt mad that I had two separate rates!!!! I booked, because the room was 119. Well night two was 149. After taxes I paid 309 for two nights. I won't stay here again.

Review 74:The hotel was in tip top shape. The bed was really comfortable. It was clean and everything needed was provided. Staff were all nice, polite and helpful.

Review 75:the casino was under a complete renovation. some of the flooring was uneven. areas roped off, noise level too high. none of the rooms were refurbished. same as when it was harrah's. so paying $302 was too much when I got comped in the past. I wouldn't mind paying if the room was new which I thought it was. there were 2 taxes on the bill amounting to $40 that the staff couldn't explain. one person told me it was a federal tax. with the condition that the casino is in and the old rooms I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Review 77:The parking garage was directly across from the window of our room, and we had to keep the blinds drawn most of the time. That made the room dark and seem smaller.

Review 78:I enjoy the table games and sometimes the poker room at the casino. The food is very good at all the restaurants and buffet. Parking was plentiful in the lot and in the garage.

Review 79:Only had me booked for one night when should have been three. Put me in a non smoking when I booked a smoking. Had valet at front desk doing check ins, he wasn't sure of what he was doing.
