Review 1：The hotel provided a perfect place to stopover on our way back up to Anna Maria Island after a visit to the Corkscrew Sanctuary and Lake Trafford areas. Staff were very helpful and suggested some nearby places to eat based on what we said we liked.

Review 2：The one piece of gym equipment was broken. We have been here for 4 days and it still hasn't been repaired. The treadmill, Eliptical and bike were all working properly.

The BW breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating. A good decent hot continental breakfast with something for everyone.

Management: totally inflexible and unaccommodating. :( When I inadvertently made a double reservation (while trying to get the lowest rate) the manager refused to allow me to cancel one of the reservations. So I ended up with 2 rooms, and essentially paid almost $200 for one night in a lackluster budget hotel! We stay in this area every month visiting family; if this hotel had handled this reservation snafu in a customer-focused and amiable manner, this could have become our regular hotel, and Best Western would have gained a loyal customer. As it is, we will never return, and will make sure other family members never book this hotel! 2.) $20 for one small dog that never barks or causes a problem is ridiculous. 3.) The hotel tacks on a $25 deposit which they say will be refunded -- a deposit for what?? As of now, it has yet to be credited back to my account!

Review 24：2 baseball teams here during our 1 week stay. That meant pool space, lounge chairs, and room in the breakfast room was very limited most days. The price seemed inflated for an average hotel room. Bathroom floor wasn't swept during our week stay.

Review 105：Decor is definitely very outdated. That's not a deal-breaker for us, though.. We'd rather pay less and look at something less visually-appealing (as long as it's clean!). With some upgrades, this place could charge a bit more.

Everyone-- from the guy who answered the phone before we booked and courteously helped me, to the airport shuttle driver who picked us up after midnight, to the kind receptionist who already had all our paperwork ready/printed before we stepped in the door (extra helpful when it's after midnight!!) was wonderful. It really is a great price for a clean hotel close to the airport. The breakfast was just your average continental breakfast, but you can't complain at that price.

When we left our room for the day, we turned off television and left remote next to television. When we returned in the evening, TV was on and found remote on night stand.
