Reviews for Crowne Pointe Historic Inn Adults Only
Review 1:Ordir in the room. Not enough hooks to hang towels and clothes in bathroom.no luggage racks . No table to set up a small work station.the location of that unit shoild be discounted...no privacy without keeping all blinds closed.very confinded.
Review 2:The room 302 over the spa had a mildew order, which kept me up coughing for two evenings. I had two sleepless nights on the very hard mattress.for a cold winter night a comforter would had been nice addition to bedding Fortunately using steam room helped. If we had a better experience with the accomodations and friendliness of the female staff that would have been much more comfortable. Howveer, staff member John was excellent in friendliness and service.
Review 3:Clean, comfortable & well-appointed room in a central location. Complimentary wine & cheese hour was a nice touch. Free public parking, due to it being shoulder season, right next to the hotel.
Review 4:Bad reception, horrible small room, lots of steps no elevator, surly manager, missed wine and cheese by minutes and were told go away. Overall a zero not even one star
Review 5:The place did not burn down while we were there
Review 6:The building is unusual (which is part of its charm). Some of the facilities are not quite what visitors may be used to at other hotels in the same price range (eg the pool), but given the nature of the hotel and the age of the buildings, that's to be expected.
Review 7:Staff are excellent - friendly and knowledgeable. Location of hotel is superb. Breakfasts are excellent - lots of choice and good quality ingredients. Dinner was also very good.
Review 8:Water pressure in the shower was barely a trickle. We thought our room would be larger.
Review 9:Cheese and wine social hour. We met couples from various places and went out on the town with them.
Review 10:Only thing is it's a little pricey, but all of the really outstanding inns in Ptown are. Plus you get what you pay for: you get a lot for the price at Crowne Pointe.
Review 11:Our first time at Crowne Pointe, and it was excellent! Very nice room, nice location, very friendly staff. Great breakfast and very nice wine and cheese reception in the PM. We would definitely recommend it.
Review 12:Not too much day-to-day variety in breakfast choices. Pictures online are a bit deceptive. Our pamper 3 room looked nothing like the pictures online. It was still nice, just not as expected.
Review 13:Wine and Cheese hour late day was a nice thing to look forward to. Location was within walking distance of just about everything. Breakfast is very good.
Review 14:The pool wasn't nearly as large as expected. Though the weather was inclement, and we couldn't swim, we really wouldn't have taken advantage of the pool due to its size. There was adequate markings as regards the pool so that one wouldn't step into it accidentally. I did suggest on the suggestion card for there to be similar white markings on the top step of the wooden deck so that one would be able to judge when the deck ended and the first step started.
Review 15:Staff was more than helpful. The amenities in the hotel room were fine. The breakfast accommodations were great, and the staff was very helpful.
Review 16:Quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Breakfasts were a real treat, always different, always fresh and delicious. Wine/beer/cheese a treat as well. Took the edge off for later dinners. Easy walk up and down the hill to commercial street. Also room tub was awesome! Don't miss the restaurant for dinner, delightful atmosphere and carefully prepared meals/drinks.
Review 17:breakfast is rather poor, during waiting for my toast, they cleand all my table and I had to restart…; roomcleaning was very late and not so good in details; the two guys at the check out: no thank you, no how was your stay, no safe travels, just a ok, that's it; dinner in the restaurant is ok, but not more, they didn't told me, that me wine, I orderded didn't go with the fish.
Review 18:the 2 guys and the girl at the reception, nice room with hot tube, quiet, wonderful wine and cheese buffet in the afternoon
Review 19:The room was so sweet- complete with a working fireplace and it was easy to get to our destinations from this location.
Review 20:Best of both hotel and B&B type of facility. Excellent staff.

Review 41:The room itself was just OK, decent, but nothing special, and there was little or no soundproofing between rooms. You could hear people rustling around next door.
Review 42:The service was great. The location was great as were the amenities. The breakfast which was included with the room was FANTASTIC! Great spa and pool area.
Review 43:We were disappointed in the breakfast this year. It was not up to par from other years. VERY disappointing.. a mediocre culinary experience that we rated poor. However, the afternoon wine and cheese still enjoyable.
Review 44:What's not to like? Wonderful staff, accommodations and value. Also met interesting couples at the free wine & cheese each afternoon even though it was off season.
Review 45:It has a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The complimentary wine an cheese hour before dinner was great and it has a wonderful resturant on site.
Review 46:Omelettes were not tasty....need spice, garlic...something. Andmore choices.
Review 47:Location well appointed rooms spa...very nice hot tub, steam room.Breakfast with room fee very good coffee. Staff very cordial, accommodating.
Review 48:Room was very small. They kept the lights on all night outside our door. My husband had to repair the air conditioner. A piece was bent and flapped noisily in the wind the entire first night.
Review 49:Staff location and food were excellent
Review 50:None.
Review 51:Very nice, elegant, stylish yet relaxed hotel, with very friendly staff. Location is superb, close to the heart of the town. Breakfast was abundant, topped with delicious home-made cakes. We had a great time there, can only recommend to anyone.
Review 52:I didn't like finding used toilet paper on the toilet seat of my room. I especially didn't like seeing urine in the toilet and all over the toilet seat on another occasion. When I informed staff of this I was disappointed to say the least when all they could say was sorry. Not even the manager offered to compensate me. On another evening the guests above me decided to take a jacuzzi bath at 2 am whi h caused the pipes to make a loud banging noise. This obviously woke me & I was unable to fall back to sleep. When I requested another room I was told they were booked. Again I was not compensated for my troubles. Lastly, the breakfast consisted of white bread french toast, frozen pancakes & o.j. from concentrate. Not at all worth the money.
Review 53:Pool's a little small, and the jacuzzi could be a little hotter.
Review 54:The hotel offers a unique setting, right in the smack of Provincetown and yet each area of the hotel had a little oasis where you could lounge about. Food excellent, decor and moldings nice. Fun place.
Review 55:Convenience to shops, restaurants, beach, boating, bike trails. Quiet area of town. Great hot tub. Outside is nicely landscaped. The room was comfortable and quiet with gas fireplace for cold nights.
Review 56:No cause for complaint at all.
Review 57:Very welcoming and comfortable, with excellent dining too and a great location close to all the P-Town action.
Review 58:Wine hour and breakfast were amazing
