Reviews for The Chancellor Hotel
Review 1:The room was basically nice, but in need of painting as there were chips of paint missing and the mirror's finish was coming off. The couple in the room next to mine was having a great night, I could hear every detail of their "romance." The hotel charges an extra $20 "deposit for damages" that is not mentioned in the booking.com description.
Review 2:Nice view and close to everything.
Review 3:Minor details. Beds were very soft, not enough power outlets in the room.
Review 4:Very clean and modern. The staff had an excellent plan to deal with New Year's Eve crowds going between different venues.
Review 5:The front desk staff was extremely kind and courteous, the room spacious and comfortable, and a great bed. Had a very relaxing few days at the Chancellor.
Review 6:The rooms were modern, but needed TLC. It needed touch up paint, and looked like it was once a nice hotel that hadn't been kept up like it should have been. I think the nightly rate was a little high for the room, compared to others in town. And the quality of the hotel didn't match the increased rate.
Review 7:Convenient location
Review 8:The tub was stopped up, causing me to stand it a lot of water when Ishowered, and it took it forever to drain. I woke late on the morning Iwas leaving...10:30...check out at 11:00. I called the desk asking for30 minutes to an hour extra. Nope!!! On the bright side, I didn'thave time to have to stand in the (now dirty) stopped up tub!
Review 9:Wonderful location; beautiful view from my room (15th floor)
Review 10:First room we got wasn't clean. Eggs in mini fridge, dirty brown stains under top blanket on bed, dirty face towel. Told front desk and they switched us to a new room.
Review 11:Hotel was modern and a little higher class. Comfortable beds and rooms
Review 12:Platform that beds matress sit on absolutely killed our shins . the bathtubs are small. No microwave oven in rooms. From the cost is to
Review 13:Beds are so comfy. The staff is absolutely amazing.
Review 14:Beds were a little too soft though & pillows too firm. My only complaint with staff is that I had requested feather pillows & then asked again at check-in, but never received any. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
Review 15:I loved that this hotel was right around the corner from great restaurants & shopping! We took the hotel shuttle service to & from an event at the Walton Performing Arts Center, which worked out perfectly!
Review 16:Great location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and modern. Fun little bar. Within walking distances of many local fun places. Would definitely return!
Review 17:The hotel did not charge me the booking.com rate despite the confirmation letter stating that it would. I was charged the standard rate for the room for all nights (which was an additional $100+). With that in mind, what is the point of using booking.com?
Review 18:The workout room was nice and convenient. The location was nice. The room had plenty of space. The wifi is easy to access and works well. Everything was comfortable and my stay was enjoyable.
Review 19:The walls are SO THIN. You can imagine what was going on all night next door. In addition, we heard every step down the hall and doors shutting. We heard the swiping of the hotel key from the room next door. It sounded like someone was trying to get in to our room every time they went inside. We heard almost every word from the room next door. I think it is a nice hotel, but if you are looking for sleep, think about another option.
Review 20:I thought the hotel was very clean and in a good location.
Review 21:I booked a King Room and when I checked in it wasn't available. I just wasn't very impressed. Overpriced for what you got. I choose a nice hotel for a weekend get a way and was disappointed. Staff did not try and make any compensation for my stay as it was their mistake for my size room. I won't stay here again. I can get a clean and decent room down the street for half the price.
Review 22:We asked for a quite room, it was a Sunday night and the hotel was not busy at all and they put a group which partied late into the night. I guess we would understand a bit more if it was really busy. Nice hotel we would come back, great location. Walked to our restaurant.
Review 23:Checked in very late and found a snack machine on 1st floor with only a few meager selections. No mini bar. Room not soundproof and housekeeper started vacuuming hall at 7:30am and woke me up. Room was also next to housekeeping closet and every time the staff went in the door slammed and shook the bed. Pool was closed during my entire stay and gym was closed when I checked in.
Review 24:Huge room, very clean. Large comfortable bed and great pillows
Review 25:Noisy Lots of drunk people old and young Noisy even in your room you literally could hear people whispering in the hallway.... Except most of the time they weren't whispering even 3 AM at night Slow slow slow Internet First looks pretty sleek but then you realize lots of cheap materials. Really more of a two star hotel.

Review 36:Modern and clean
Review 37:TV services And TV sets
Review 38:Harder better beds Better comforters
Review 39:Smoke alarm kept going off even with a new battery. We had to take the battery out in the middle of the night because it kept chirping.
Review 40:Charge was $20 over what booking .com quoted. Smoke detector battery died at 3am and the chirping of the darn thing lasted all night!
Review 41:Nice location
Review 42:run down
Review 43:Staff
Review 44:banging noise all nigh while trying to sleep billing problem and unable to get bill when checking out.

Review 47:Location is perfect !
Review 48:Easy Walk to Dickson Street and U of A. Friendly staff, rooms are clean, would recommend to families with children.
Review 49:Parking was limited and tight exits out of parking deck.

Review 51:couldn't get late checkout
Review 52:peacefulness
Review 53:Location
Review 54:Staff was excellent...facilities were top-notch!
Review 55:-You need to offer pay per view movies. -The lighting in the bathroom was too dim - offer lighted mirrors for women for make-up. -The Cleaning staff kept banging on the door - 4 times before check out time at 11 am. Annoying.
Review 56:Size of the room and decor was great. Love free internet/wi-fi, too
Review 57:Noise level, lot's youth sports teams slamming doors and running the hallways.
Review 58:We enjoy the central Fayetteville location, easy access to acitivities in the area.
Review 59:Location at the town square. Rooms were as nice as any we have stayed in, very clean, modern, loved the tile entrance, bed very comfortable. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in New York, New Orleans, Memphis, Dallas, Paris, France, and Oxford, England. Will definitely recommend to friends and stay here again.
Review 60:The bed was really bad! We stayed 2 days . when we returned after the first day the ONLY thing that had been done to the room was the bed was made and the towels replaced. They had not even cleaned the coffee pot! The floor had dust along the dresser and edge of the bed???? When I contacted the front desk(in person) they gave me some more coffee for the next morning.Really??? This could be a great hotel for Fayetteville with some attention to detail.
Review 61:I liked the location. I brought my wife there for her 40th reunion from the University of Arkansas. She had never seen her name on the walk.
Review 62:The mattress was the worst excuse for a mattress since we stayed at a Sleep Inn in Fayetteville a few years ago. The room lighting is insufficient. The parking deck verges on being unsafe because of its cramped nature.
Review 63:The entire facility was modern, clean and centrally located for our purposes. The staff was efficient and friendly. The room was huge, clean and well-maintained. We especially liked the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower.
Review 64:Very good services at every point of contact ie; reception, restaurant, and bar. Especially the restaurant, they keep open waiting for our group coming at 10:30pm due to flight delay, inspite of their normally close at 9pm.
Review 65:Not enough choices on menu food was cold
Review 66:Proximity to university and helpful staff
Review 67:My stay at the Chancellor was great! The staff made me feel at home!
Review 68:Power went out from a blown transformer. Hotel has no emergency lighting at all. If not for my cell phone light, would have been a nightmare.
Review 69:Soft bed
Review 70:The beds are horribly worn out and sinking in the center and pillows were huge and hard to sleep with without getting kink in the neck
Review 71:location and style
Review 72:a spacious room, modern style hotel
Review 73:price
Review 74:location
Review 75:Truly enjoyed the location, the staff, the facilities. The room was spacious and clean.

Review 77:Very clean, safe, beautiful views, great room
Review 78:terrible brown decor -- brown walls, brown carpet .... seriously poor taste
Review 79:Incredibly comfortable beds, nice finishes in bathroom
Review 80:Got a great deal because it was a Sunday. Wish the other days weren't so expensive.
Review 81:Great place!!!! Will come back
