Thomar Story - Guest House sells fast on our site. On the banks of Nabão River, in the heart of Tomar city centre, Thomar Story is located in a fully restored 19-century building. It combines history with contemporary interiors and free WiFi.
Each room has an individual décor, with singular headboards and bits and pieces of Tomar history. All rooms have air conditioning, LCD TV and a modern overhead shower in the private bathroom.

Review 1：the staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much breakfast was really good. We enjoyed it so much we booked an extra night.
Review 2：The fact that breakfast was not include was not apparent when booking. Having to climb all those stairs: I'm too old for that.

Review 4：This is nitpicking, but, the interaction with the staff is minimal. A woman checked us in, but offered us no info about the town, I had to ask. We didn't see anyone else at the front desk for 2 days. We didn't mind, but others may.
Review 5：Stylishly hip guesthouse in the heart of historic Tomar. It was spotless and quiet. Loved the mod furnishings, the clever room door stencils, the bed, the nice shower ... we had a top floor room with a view of the convent/castle. We didn't have breakfast there, since there were many cafes nearby. Perfect location, right downtown. We fell in love with Tomar!

Review 9：Fantastic location and fantastic restoration of a town centre property. The room I had, with a small kitchenette, was very well appointed, very comfortable and looked out over a courtyard. In the early evening if you leave the balcony door open, you can hear all the birds in the courtyard settling in the trees for the night. Very welcoming staff. I wouldn't hesitate in coming back here and recommending it to people.

Review 12：Great little Hotel right in the centre of the historical area of Tomar. Very tastefully designed, quiet room with perfectly considered details. Fabulous bathroom with excellent shower and on top room was equipped with a little kitchen as we surprisingly got a room updrade. Wifi was not very strong on upper floor, which did not matter at all. Front desk staff incredibly friendly and helpful giving great advice about local attractions and restaurants. We pretty much enjoyed our stay in such a perfect place. Thank you for that!
Review 13：A small disadvantage - no parking near the hotel. You have to park your car about 200 meters away. But the parking in the town is free. In addition, there is no access for disabled: there is no elevator in the hotel and the rooms are on the second floor and above.
Review 14：We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this guesthouse is so nice and comfortable for a relatively low price. It has a good location. The furniture and the design are modern and new, just after general overhaul. The sleep quality was perfect! The rooms are large and comfortable. There are rooms with a small kitchen, so we could prepare our own dinner and breakfast. But the bottom line is - if you are planning to stay overnight in Tomar - this hotel is more than recommended.

Review 26：The rooms are boutique style since they are all different, very spacious and have their own bathroom. The whole hostel is quiet new and therefore in perfect shape, especially the bathrooms were great!

Review 29：Room 13, Synagogue Room. Great location with a great staff. The receptionist who greeted me helped me plan my sight-seeing as I only had one full day in Tomar. This place is new and modern in style. Everything about it is elegant and well-designed. It was obviously decorated by a professional as every detail was perfectly considered. It is definitely a place I would stay again and again.
Review 30：Stayed on one night. A very good location. Its no Parking, but there is ample free Parking 200 metres from the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is not ordered. One room was with a well-equipped kitchen.

Review 32：Great place, friendly and helpful staff. Great recommendations from the front desk about restaurants and attractions. Found out we got a surprise room upgrade. The room was either brand new or extremely well cleaned. It was designed great and we were very happy finding out we got a kitchen and private bathroom, having our 1 year old baby with us. Location was superb, within walking distance to the monastery and everything else in the old town.

Review 67：I loved everything. Very modern and high tech (it's still brand new!). Excelent location, not far from train station, not far from the city center. I almost didn't meet the staff, because there is no need for that as they send you by email the information (codes) you need to enter the building and the room, but when we met they were very kind. Nice view to the river. Great price. I just loved it. Probably the best place I've stayed for this money.

The host has been outstanding on explaining the history of the city in an enthusiastic and interesting way and it's must see places and surroundings to visit. It's been true to it's name after all: "Thomar Story" indeed.
Review 71：We didn't meet anyone from the staff throughout our one day visit, but we didn't feel that it was a major handicap, although a couple of hints on where to dine would have been a plus. Also would have been nicer if the room's AC would already be working as it was a very cold day and the room wasn't that warm.

We accessed the building and our room through an entrance code so everything seemed very new and high tech! All in all a great place to stay!
