Review 1：Breakfast was terrible. I hate to sound rude and ignorant but they cater to a lot of Chinese tourists. Chinese tourists have a well deserved reputation as being completely rude and inconsiderate. It's not the hotel's fault in the end but the only thing worse could be the Full Moon Party idiots.

Review 2：It was in a very quiet and peaceful part of Ko Samui.

Review 3：I went because of work that's why I went in low season. Consequently there were times when I was the only guest in the hotel and the restaurant and bar facilities were closed. I understand that it costs money to service these facilities, and for only one guest it may not be worth it for the resort, but in the rainy season it was not always easy for me to run through the rain and jump over puddles to get to the restaurants across the road for my breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Review 4：The staff at Panalee where very helpful and willing to do whatever was needed. I was always greeted with a "Sawadi". As the hotel was quiet I was given a complimentary upgrade from my standard room to one of the bungalows, which was lovely. I would go to Panalee again, but not in low season.

Review 6：Everything! We had roome with pool acces and there was nobody else in those rooms. All pool for us! That was a fantastic stay in this hotel.

Review 10：The 'photo with a tiger' part of the trip made me very sad. Firstly it was a leopard and secondly the whole thing looked awful. But that's not anything to do with the hotel! About the hotel...if you didn't know you could miss breakfast...but it's by the reception and the man will come out and ask you what you would like and he'll freshly prepare it for you!

Review 11：The location was fantastic for us as it was just out of the main strip and so was very quiet and beautiful! The staff were fantastic and helped us book the Happy Days safari, where they took us all over the island seeing amazing things! Elephant trekking, the big Buddha temple and the mummified monk. The man at breakfast was so lovely and so humble!

Review 17：Transfer to/from Mae Nam/airport expensive for solo traveler, and I was told it's not included with a Booking.com reservation. I was also disappointed I didn't get the bathtub pictured here, that apparently comes only with the ground floor pool room.

Review 18：Spacious, well-appointed room on beautiful, quiet grounds with plenty of restaurants nearby. All that was missing in the room was a sofa, and maybe an iPod dock. Beach is pretty but not the best for swimming. Friendly, helpful staff. Transport manageable with collective i.e. "local" taxi.

Review 21：After 11pm the Resort was dark and seemed to have no available staff or assistance. No breakfast buffet, we had to order from a check list and the coffee and juice was not drinkable.

Review 22：Location is too distant from the main areas with reataurants and stores, so it's a bit boring place for a young couple.

Review 23：Great rooms and super friendly staff. Close to the beach and very nice restaurant called "Relax". It's a great hotel if you are looking for a quite and peaceful place.

Review 24：There is nothing near by, it's pretty deserted. There was a beach but nothing was on it, no massage etc... The breakfast was not great. Since there is nothing for kids to do, they took over the pool so it wasn't as relaxing as we'd hoped.

Review 26：Breakfast was terrible - instant coffee, when we requested for black, came with sugar and milk. Juice is from concentrated, scary pink. Definitely not fresh. Staff at the breakfast was horrible very unprofessional, did not tell us that we could only select one and later have a bad attitude when we requested for both toast and pancake.

Review 28：I absolutely agree with previous guest from Norway (date 24 Feb 2013). 1) far location from everything 2) no restaurants and bars, only several unpleasant beach cafe. 3) bad breakfast 4) nothing reminded of resort 5) bad beach 6) no wi fi in all rooms 7) very high price for above mentioned .

Review 29：Panalee want to advertise themselves as a RESORT. There was nothing that reminded us of resort. The pool was so small, that 2 people could hardly swim at the same time. There is a "trap" for small children - small, almost invisible gap at the entrance side to the pool. Sunbeds at the small were old and falling in pieces. Pool bar was (wich could have been nice and useful) was just open a few hours a day aprox. from 14-17. No restaurant on site, breakfast of poor quality. WiFi - not like advertised on booking.com website througout the hotel but just at reseption area. And finaly - but perhaps most important: LOCATION. Panalee is located far from everythnig, close to the sea, but one can hardly call a piece of shore near the Panalee Hotel as beach. One has to rent a car / scooter or spend a lot of money on taxies. We found out that there were many cheaper places on Ko Samui with a lot better location.
