Review 3：A really friendly welcome and great service from all the staff. The hotel is an older building but that does not take away from the warm and welcoming atmosphere that exists here. Clean, comfortable rooms, within minutes of a number of good restaurants, plus fresh individually cooked eggs for breakfast served with a smile, excellent.

Review 12：For starters Ursula ALWAYS greets you like your family. I've stayed here many times and it's always my 1st choice when I go to Bangor. The breakfast isn't just coffee and donuts it's a full breakfast selection from eggs and sausage to fresh made waffles & homemade muffins. Angela is a great cook and also very friendly. Wouldn't stay any where else.

Review 13：You could feel the noise of people in the hallway really loud. A lot of movement and it was like if there was no door. We didn't have a good rest unfortunately.

Your breakfast was top-notch! Very friendly lady in there, making homemade muffins and eggs.......she was very helpful and seemed to love her job. and you had such a great variety of food to offer.......excellent! The desk staff were very friendly and helpful also.

Review 28：We were amazed & pleasantly surprised to find how nice this hotel was for its incredibly inexpensive rate! The room was very clean, the bed was like new and very comfortable, and the dining area was really nice - roomy, many tables, seasonally decorated - with a delicious buffet breakfast (not just continental!) of hot & cold homemade items included in the room rate. The staff were all very pleasant, especially in the dining room. We usually stay at (and pay much more for!) "higher end" chain hotels, but from now on, if we are traveling through Bangor, this is the hotel for us!

Review 30：The recliner in the room was worn, and where it was placed, right next to the bed, disgusted me... I imagined naked bums sitting on it! Ewww! A chair like that in a hotel room should be covered with a more cleanable- type fabric!

Review 40：This hotel was perfect for an overnight rest from a multi day road trip. Close to highway, fuel, quiet, clean and the BEST part was the breakfast (included) and friendly staff. I would stay here again! Pets are not allowed and we knew this- Our two pups spent the night in the car. There is a nice open green space located behind the hotel where the pups could run around for a bit.

Review 50：Our stay was amazing I put on a 1 year suprise aniversary evening. It was clean and affordable, the front desk staff even went and picked up our dinner, and delivered it to our room, of course I paid him, the breakfast was super yummy..

Review 57：Not the hotel's fault but if you are coming in late (past 9 or 10pm) it will be difficult to find a restaurant still serving food in the area. Even though it seems like there are lots of options around, many close their kitchens early apparently.

Review 58：I was skeptical when I walked in but this basic room won me over in the end. The blue bathroom fixtures were obviously dated but everything was clean and worked properly. The location is relatively close to the highway and worked well for our stopover on our way to eastern Canada. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have hot options for breakfast (although it was not as amazing as others have raved about. good, but not great). All of the staff were extremely friendly and it felt like they actually cared when they asked how you were doing!

Review 59：Had a bit of a cleaning, chemical smell that I could detect...a little musty odor perhaps, could be cause of hot weather. I am highly sensitive, have allergies.

Review 61：Based on the review and the description provided by front desk, I had high hope for their breakfast. Unfortunately, their breakfast was way below the standard. We could make waffle, but muffin/donut were most likely bought from very cheap brands. We didn't expect very high-end products, but at least the food needs to look a bit more appealing. They did offer hot breakfast, cooked by order, but again, the food itself has quite low quality. We appreciate very much about staff's hospitality, but leaving in the morning with quiet an empty stomach didn't make us feel too good. Things in bathroom are quite old - they looked dirty even they were clean. Some remodelling would help.

Review 62：Great hot breakfast...sausages, eggs, bagels and fresh waffles. Convenient to everything you'd need in Bangor...mall is across the street, Comfy beds and totally sound proofed, was there for four days and didn't hear a sound while in our room. Great staff, housekeeping is fantastic. For anyone travelling with family or a few friends, I'd recommend the deluxe suite. It comes with two double beds, tv and bathroom in one room that connects to another room with a double bed, tv, microwave, fridge and another bathroom. All that at a price you'd easily pay for a regular room at a newer hotel. 5/5 and would definitely stay here again.

Right around the hotel is McDonald's, Burger King, Applebee's, Mexican and Italian restsurant, gas station, across the sheet is Kmart, and within walking distance is mall, Bestbuy electronics, Wendy's fast food and more. If you need taxi to airport bc of off hours it is 15.00 dollars. Free shuttle. Just call when you are at the airport. One of the car rental places lets you use phone and they will come and pick you up.

Review 88：The motel offers a shuttle to and from the airport as well as a shuttle to restaurants, etc. Our room was somewhat dated but clean. The staff are very helpful.

Review 89：My only complaint was age of the facility. Needs some updating and cosmetic work. Cracks between floors and walls leave the impression the place is dirty, however, everything seemed to be well-cleaned. Even the remote control. I checked. Also, the coffee pots needed to be refilled more often.

Review 90：Location was easy to get in and out. My husband's walking disability was eased by a room close to an entrance on the first floor. The free hot breakfast was very good but plan on a little extra time for eggs, etc. than traditional continental breakfasts. Grab and go items were immediately available, i.e. cereal, bagels, juice, fruit, etc.

Review 106：Not really a bad experience, just an observation. Its obvious the entire hotel has done a nice renovation of its rooms and décor. Don't stop there, please now finish the bathrooms. The blue tub and toilet just don't fit the updated look otherwise. While still very functional, it dates the overall look and appearance.

Review 108：This hotel's best asset is by far it's staff. We travel a lot and found the staff here to be some of the best. Hotel is older as you can see in the pictures however the beds, linens, pillows and carpets seem to have been updated recently. Very clean hotel. Extensive selection for breakfast. Snacks in the evening along with 2$ beer/wine. We were there for a concert and staff was very helpful in helping us get a taxi calling numerous companies and asking us if we enjoyed ourselves the next day. Close to many restaurants and shopping.

Review 110：These folks were very accommodating for our family of 4 adults from different households. They gave us the "suite" of adjoining rooms and the guys/ladies had their own spaces. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Facility is dated, but very clean and neat. Staff were friendly and helpful. They had planned activities for the holiday weekend, too. Plenty of parking.

Offered a coupon for free appetizer at nearby restaurant. Room was in newly renovated section and as per our request, in a quiet area. Breakfast started earlier than many places which helped with our early departure plan- little point paying for breakfast then not accessing the service. Breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient. The made to order eggs were a pleasant surprise.

Review 120：I arrived at around 10:30 p.m. and checked out at 7:30 a.m. The staff members at the front desk and in the dining area were genuinely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great: eggs cooked to order, a waffle bar, bacon, sausage, or "real" ham, a variety of cereals, pastries, juices, and hot beverages. What more could you want? :-)

Review 121：The compressor for the ice machine was pretty noisy. Will seek room farther away from ice machine in future.

Review 123：Wifi sucks in room 129. Couldn't watch movies and kept getting bumped off wifi signal very weak in that room. Housekeepers were unaware our check out time was 12:00-1:00 and we felt rushed to leave at that point.
