Review 1：the pool area was dark and very small,lots of mosquitos all day,even around reception desk.Restaurant not as shown in pictures.Building work next to beach villas,so noisy and hard to cross busy road every time i needed to go to reception.Never gave me beach towels ,i had to go and ask.Often forgot water in room.Room connected to another and you could open door from both sides,bit off putting as was alone.

Review 3：Evening meal was very poor(frozen food half warmed up) no alcohol available after first drink on arrival so staff member went to the 7 eleven so we did that ourselves after that experience. Pump in swimming pool is not working. Stream ( feature ) not running.

Review 4：The private beach although you should be aware it's very small so if it was at the busy season there would be no room. Breakfast was ok.

Review 5：Fitness machines outside. Several rusty. Reception, bar and restaurant across the street which is like a highway. Beach ok but sand in sea muddy.

Review 7：I was in a beach side room which is on the other side of the road to main complex and I felt a little out on my own away from staff. They did offer to move me but my room was lovely and only meters from beach so it won. Only thing I'd recommend was a phone in the room so at least you could contact reception on an evening if you need something.

Review 8：The hotel is in a beautiful location, the styling of the hotel is lovely and the staff are really keen to help. I had some treatments in the spa and again staff were brilliant and treatments were great.

Review 9：Lack of flexibility in changing our booking. Thanks booking.com for intervening and sorting the problem with us. The resort is just a bit isolated for tourists even though the nearby beach is excellent.

Review 11：We got totally ripped off with the laundry. When offered in the welcome booklet, it mentions nothing of the price. Maybe we were naive, but since it had no price and the room was a little more expensive then our usual accommodation, we thought it would be free. Nearly 500 baht for 8 items! (Nearly £10)!!! Ridiculous. Also, we ordered boiled eggs for breakfast and they were utterly broken one morning. The fact they were even served was a little shocking really, given the prices charged on the menu. Avoid eating here - expensive. However, we were on a 4 month travellers budget, so others may think it is reasonable.

Review 12：Location was nice, away from crowds but not so isolated that travel was impossible. Rent a bike or car though, as taxi's all across Samui are ridiculously overpriced unless you haggle hard, which we did so we were fine. Hotel taxi was usually cheaper than independent ones anyway! Immaculate room, very pretty and relaxing setting (we stayed in the beach wing) and literally less then a stone's throw from the beach. 15 metres maybe! Friendly staff, very helpful. The room was very good value for money, especially compared to some 'backpacker' places we have stayed, and compared to higher-end place s in Koh Lanta.

Review 13：Nothing is as advertised on site no beach facilities no sunbeds no barin fact non existant steam room dark dinghy and dirty pool that was morelike a large pond gardens overgrown and the whole place in need of atotal overhaul location near to nothing but was told its quiet soeverything is closed down taxi to everywhere after 6pm and its a journeybeach part of the "RESORT" is across a busy main road and towalk to the beach area is missing the steps on to the beach which isquite dangerous in all id say dont go until its totally re vamped

Review 24：The offset to the low price is the poor quality/maintenance of some of the features - non functioning spa with broken tiles, air conditioner leaking, no pay tv channels, some areas of the garden were unappealing and could use a make over. The breafast menu is very limited with no healthy option, ie. cereals, yoghurt and a full fruit salad. There was also loud noise from traffic that is very close to rooms and restaurant.

Review 25：A relaxed and authentic atmosphere, with a the luxury of the healing modality of massage and if desired a full health regime for a an extremely reasonable price. The beach was close by, quiet and clean.

Review 26：the place is old and rundown - needs renovations. it is not on Maenam beach. it's located on Bang Por and there is no life there. It will take you 20 min walk at least to get to the closes restaurant. it is possible to walk on the beach while still light but when dark just along the highway which is not very pleasent. The beachline is narrow and the send is almost allways wet. No sunbads

Review 29：My wife was very satisfied with her massage and the face treatment. For myself it was the best massage ever, and I know what a good massage is :-). We also loved the Thai authentity of the place, which is very hard to find nowadays in Thailand. Thanks for making our last day in Koh Samui so wonderful.

Review 30：The staff were really rude and when we arrived for some reason seemed tobe suspicious that we would not pay even though we gave them our creditcard and passports? I left a day earlier than my friend and asked for ataxi to the pier which was 200 baht ok price but still more expensivethan a regular taxi . My friend who was staying in the room having leftall her luggage there wanted a lift to a shop just down the road in theway to the peir which we explained. There was a lot of telephoning fromstaff to reception and for some reason they seemed anxious that we wereleaving even though my friend was still in the room as were all herbelongings.and we had explained the situation more than once. Theyeventually sent two members if staff with me in the taxi. They startedgoing the wrong way and when I tried to explain no one would listenuntil we were on the way to the wrong pier. I had said I needed theferry to thongsala they didn't listen and were going to put me onthe ferry to koh pangan . Eventually after ringing reception multipletimes they started in the right direction but when we got to the otherpier began to ask for three hundred baht even though I had payed andagreed the price . The other pier is about ten minutes drive not far anddefinatly not a 300 baht journey as the ferry itself costs 500 this isrediculuos. I have no idea why the staff decided my friend snd I wouldtry to skip paying our bill ? If we were trying to do so surely we wouldnot have ordered one of their taxis ! The whole time the staff were justasking us questions about when we would pay even though we had payedwhen we arrived ! It was really rude and a bad end to the trip it'snot nice to be made to feel dishonest when you have done nothing wrong.This hotel is not worth a visit as even though the rooms are nice thestaff are ignorant and rude so who wants to stay in a place where youare made to feel stressed and like you have done something wrong!!

The wonderful outside shower room had a rotten window frame. how it goes due to design but the glass could fall and therefore needs maintaining. looked at the beach rooms which were gorgeous but you have to cross a busy road to get to restaurant/ reception
