Review 1：We paid extra for a pool access room, but the pool was very dirty and was green. We didn't use the pool at all. We were on our last 3 nights of our honeymoon and I specifically requested a little extra treatment. There were ants in the room, the WIFI was very very poor and the TV was unwatchable. There was never a clear picture and it would always cut out.

Review 3：Very friendly staff always happy to help. Lovely hotel rooms were nice and spacious pool and beach were clean and very pretty setting . It has a very relaxed feel to the whole hotel and location great for peace and tranquility. Breakfast was lovely good choice available.

Review 4：the beach is covered by coral debris, no way you can do anything on-site except maybe kayaking or catching some crabs. Ironically the quality of the fine sand beneath looks very good, can't understand why not clean-up the beach. facility is a bit odd, a road splits the resort into two and it is a mini-hiking to everything if your room is located at the unfortunate half, like us.

Review 13：1) there is no beach, plus there is a very narrow access to the beach from the resort and the area in fron of the beach, with longchairs and shading umbrella is extremely small and crowded. 2) you are basically trapped in the resort that doesn't offer a lot and food is absolutely overpriced (even if good). Only way to escape is renting a bike since taxi are very expensive. 3) if you are able to get out from the resort, be aware that there is not much nearby. Need to go little farther. 4) one day the resort was packed with people from a cruise boat. No problem per se, just that there was no way to find a spot near the beach! basically not worth for money, unless one just looks for a nice room and an aesthetically nice resort with a large swimming pool. But Thailand can offer so much more!!

Meals in-hotel are U.S.-prices, and there are very few inexpensive/other options given the hotel's location (if you do not have a rental car). Be aware transport BACK to the airport is 5x (TBH1000) the price TO the hotel from the airport...

Review 25：The hotel design was great - very private and peaceful settings everywhere! The room was absolutely wonderful and the bed so comfortable, we only wanted to go out to also enjoy the great pool and beachside settings. The hotel thought of every comfort, and the staff was excellent.

Review 26：We loved our stay! All personnel, with no exception, including managerial staff, was eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Extremely friendly staff, despite a lot of work! Special thanks to the Hotel Manager, to Mr. Dew (restaurant responsible), the Chef Cook, the F&B Director, the Spa Manager (great massage!) and the list could continue... We enjoyed the BBQ on the beach and the relaxing evenings in the restaurant! Breakfast is served until 11 AM and dinner until late in the night. Service prices are really ok compared to other 5* hotels. Ironing service is free of charge.

Review 27：Delay in check-in even after 14-00, initially provided room was in an area under construction and no notice of this was priorly given (although senior manager promptly provided a different room upon our objection), sea depth and cleanliness is mediocre, hotel situated in an isolated area away from other towns and not enough shuttle services provided to compensate for that.

Review 61：Not a 5-star staff. Maybe a 2.5-star staff.We were greeted with the traditional Wei by only 3 staff members out of our 3 days there. The pool staff was not just unfriendly but treated guests (not just us) with disdain when making a request for water or food. I continued to tip them well the first day hoping that they were just having an "off" day but this behavior just continued. Several members of staff sat at the pool bar while guests had stacks of glasses and food that ants and bugs began to feast on and did not care to clean it up. It appeared guests were required to get up to order food and drinks as well as bring back their glasses and plates. While I don't mind keeping my area clean and getting up to order my food and soda water, this is not 5 star service. It wasn't even 3 star service.The wifi at the beach in the lounge chairs usually does not work and will kick you off. Room wifi is reliable.The food is not great (even by Thai standards). Stick with the fries and the satay. Fine dining- food was 3 star. One of the waitresses was fantastic. But one in six doesn't count for much.The pub and Restraunt- same food as pool bar and fine dining. Not that great. The buffet? Stick with what is being made fresh. Everything else feels and tastes like it was made several hours before.The bathrooms smell of sewage. Because the bathroom doors do not shut completely (this is so they can be opened to enjoy the pool view) Mosquitos fly in. They do offer repellent that you must purchase.The a/c units will shut off in the middle of the night and you wake up to extreme heat and humidity. Just press the on button again.They will only offer you one entry/key card per room. Getting the additional key appears to be a big deal and in another interaction I saw between guest and front desk made it clear it was nothing personal towards us.At check out. They make you wait for the housekeeping staff to review the room for your mini bar bill.

Review 63：A beautiful resort with very friendly and helpful staff. Staff always took the time to ask how we were, how our day had been, what our plans were. The room was beautiful overlooking the huge pool with a view of the ocean. The beach here is not for swimming as it was very low tide, but the pool was nice & peaceful fir swimming, with the sunbeds overlooking the beach for relaxing. The swim up bar was also very nice. The location of this hotel is quite a way from the main tourist areas, so we recommend you hire a car. It was just a nice peaceful out of the way getaway. Breakfast was nice with plenty to choose from. We tried lobster one night which they keep live so you know it's fresh. I would recommend this resort ifbyou want something away from the hustle & bustle.

Review 64：If you want to combine your stay with shopping and a few drinks out at night, the hotel is a bit recluded, so you will have to invest money and time in taxi transport. The hotel offers shuttle to the more lively side of the island, fere of charge, but only during daytime. The beach is nice, but not the white sand and beautiful clear water you see on photos.

Review 72：1. We were in a pool-side room facing the main restaurant of the resort. Not pleasant to be checked by the clients while in shorts at your terrace. Also - some smell and noise coming all the time from the restaurant. 2. Beach is not nice. There is no beach, actually. If you look for a beach next to your hotel, you should go somewhere else. 3. Restaurant was overpriced for the provided service and meals. 4. Do not book without breakfast as there is no place to go to have one in proximity.

Review 73：Overall - a great place to stay if you want to be out of the crowded and busy part of the island. We took the a pool-side room - it was great. Big clean room with jacuzzi and direct entrance to the pool. Ask for that kind of room but not B101 - it faces one of the restaurants and has no submerged chaise-longs as shown in the pictures in this site. We rented a small bike for only USD10 per day at the reception and it was a great mean of transportation for our whole stay!

Review 75：The beach at the resort is not very nice as it is very shallow androcky. The resort is quite secluded which can be a good thing but youare about a 500 – 600 bht taxi ride away from Chaweng if you want to dosome shopping or go out for dinner. The resort does have a daily freeshuttle bus to Chaweng that runs in the morning and the afternoon lastpick up to bring you back to the resort is 4pm. We found that the roomscould be quite loud if you where trying to sleep in in the morning assound travelled under or through the door and our room same next to oneof the staffs cleaning storage cupboards.

Review 76：This resort is breath taking, the pools are fantastic and nice and coolfor Thailand as we found pools at other resorts pools can heat up quitea bit during the day from the sun. The rooms are modern and nicelyfurnished and a great size. The room service food was really nice andwell priced for a 5 star resort. The bathroom products that the resortsupplied where of a very high quality it was like going to a spa whenyou washed your hair. Staff where friendly and always there to help, theresort is nice and quite so relaxing and winding down is very easy in itbeautiful surroundings.
