Review 1：Unsafe area old dilapidated furniture with a "Goodwill" Smell.Elevator so raggedy it squeaked and made noise. Just a blight on Memphis

Review 5：Room was filled with a very overwhelming bleach smell upon arrival, we had to have the door open to unpack. The bath, toilet and sink were clean but the place is so old and run down it must be hard for the housekeepers to put lipstick on a pig. The place is in serious need of paint, new carpets, silicone repairs and a freshen up. The top covers had cigarette burns in so they need to update those but the sheets were clean

Review 7：Clean room, very easy check in and check out. Location was great, but if you're in Memphis YOU NEED A CAR. Can't stress this enough! Roads are wide and everything is very spread out with very little public transport.

Review 8：The room was shabby. My towels had all different kinds of other people's hairs stuck to them. The shower light/fan sounded like a rocket was taking off inside the wall, the floors hadn't been properly swept or vacuumed.

Review 12：The stuff for house keeping was not very nice she woke me up by knocking hard the door and yelling for housekeeping. When I open the door never apologize. That's the only thing I don't like from my stay in your motel 6.

Review 13：I like the ambiance of the room. But the TV need to upgrade for HDTV and need microwave in the room and fridge. Then my stay should be perfect.

Review 15：We were greeted nicely. Annette at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Room was clean. Looked at it in advance which was encouraged and not an issue. We walked to Beale Street and biked to Riverfront and Overland Park. It is on a bus route. There were all sort of concerning comments. We are biking the length of the Mississippi River and in 52 days will have stayed in bed and breakfasts, luxury and casino hotels...non were better values. We stayed three nights during labor day weekend. Memphis is great ... it is a model room...don't spend much time in it. Have lots of money left over to enjoy Memphis.

Review 16：We had to change rooms as the toilet was broken. The second room we moved to the sink had not been cleaned - had bear hair around it and also what looked like snot on it.

Review 17：I tried to cancel my Friday and Saturday booking since my father who is in a terminal stage of lung cancer was transferred to a different unit at the VA hospital up the road. The woman at the counter said I couldn't cancel my Friday booking and would have to come back in the morning before 12 to cancel my room for Saturday.

Review 18：It was close to the VA hospital. Affordable and they have cable. The quick mart at the gas station next door and the nearby fast food places and Walgreens make for convenience. There is also a Chinese restaurant across the street.

Motel's costumers were ofdubious reputation and kept screaming and yelling all night long, evenknocking randomly other doors (mine included). The motel staff doesnothing to prevent it. Motel's public areas were moreover dirty andsmelled of urine. The price (57$) was way too high for this very badquality service.

Review 40：It's a bit of a walk into town, but I was only there for a day so only had to walk it once in either direction and it was fine. Plus for tourists (like me) it is close to Sun Studio which is on the route into town so you can make the location work if you try.

I was worried it would be dodgy based on other reviews, but this was a fine place to grab a night's sleep - and really cheap.

Lastly, the elevator was like riding the towers of doom ride, pretty sure they need some funds to repair that before they end up killing someone...but I guess those funds won't come as long as they have to return everyone's money because of bed bugs.

Review 47：The deadbolt mounting plate was held by one screw and needed to be manually manipulated to allow the deadbolt to be used (to clear the opening on the plate). The A/C was VERY loud. There were multiple pan handlers on grounds. The bed was too firm, the pillows were too thin. We actually got up and left earlier than planned just to get out of there.

Review 49：The decor is beyond outdated and the beds are far to small for the average adult. The vending area could also use some maintenance as the ice machines were broken. However, the most troubling aspect of our stay was being repeatedly harassed by other motel guests. I'm aware that the staff cannot regulate the behavior of their patrons but perhaps increased security would be in order. We will not be returning to this particular establishment.
