Review 6:The room was quite warm without the heat on.

Review 7:We loved the room. It had a balcony, gas fireplace, jacuzzi for two, and living room. Restaurant was also fabulous.

Review 8:The breakfast was just okay with fair service, but the dinners were delicious with great service.

Review 9:The staff was nice enough and very accommodating. We were in the Carriage house and our room was wonderful..... roomy, quaint with nice views of the mountains. The bathroom with whirlpool tub was a pleasant surprise! A very relaxing setting.

Review 10:How timbale a proper pot of English tea Not aware of how the place is set up so could have step stairs to manage with cases not so good if older or have some problems withsteps

Review 11:The ambiance of the lace staff helpful and friendly

Review 12:Their restaurant was wonderful. However, because it is so great, many locals and guests from other hotels come here to eat! This can present a problem, especially when they run out of the special of the night. Make sure that you make reservations for dinner..!

Review 13:Everything was fabulous during our 2 night stay! We traveled for 19 days around New England, and staying here was the highlight of all the places we stayed.

Review 14:There were no negatives from us. We have read some of the negative reviews and wondered if they stayed at a different place to us!

Review 15:This is in a great location for exploring the White Mountains. We stayed for three nights. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast and the evening meals was good.

Review 16:For the price paid the rooms could do with updating, new carpets etc.

Review 17:An olde world inn with a warm and cosy ambience in a lovely spot. Staff were very friendly and the breakfasts superb.

Review 18:Online photo doesn't mach with our room, we booked king size bed they make 2 twin bed together to make it king size due to gap my parents couldnt sleep, wifi was not working at all

Review 19:Excellent breakfast, staff was helpful, location

Review 20:Window air conditioner that didn't quite get the job done on an 88F day.

Review 21:Historic Inn close to the Mount Washington Auto Road and Cog Railway. Breakfast was very good. The room we had was in the Old Salt House built before 1800. Very well decorated.

Review 22:The sheets were super scratchy!!!

Review 23:The indoor pool was clean and in a nice room. It was a nice little bonus after a tiring and hot day at Storyland. The breakfast staff, menu and food was very good. Plus, we saw a Mama Bear outside the dining room window. Fun!

Review 24:When I reserved the room, the rate was $219, with taxes, etc bringing it to $259. When I checked out, it was $292, with the base price being $259, and taxes bringing it to $292. Why the difference?

Review 25:Pool was great.

Review 26:Fantastic peaceful location. All staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant and food.Wish we could have stayed longer than the 2 nights. Hopefully we can return soon.

Review 27:I wish they served lunch and that the prices weren't quite so high.

Review 28:Rooms in Carriage house and the Cabins are beautiful and very comfortable. Owner, Sandra, is kind and funny and awesome.

Review 29:This was by far the best place I have stayed in New Hampshire! The restaurant was phenomenal! We ended up coming back to the hotel eating here all meals rather then in town! Great service all around from reception, restaurant, and room cleaning. The fire pit and availability to buy smores packages in the lobby was supper fun. The playground across the street and indoor outdoor pool option makes it a great place to stay with our toddler. Can not wait to book here again.

Review 30:Reserved a king size bed and ground floor location. Had to accept a queen size bed to get ground floor location.

Review 31:Staff was lovely, grounds are adorable

Review 32:rooms are outdated. the grounds can be difficult to navigate with small children due to spread out nature of amenities, need to cross street to pool and car.

Review 33:Great breakfast, family friendly, good value, staff is friendly

Review 34:The only minor issue was at breakfast. We felt the breakfast hostess wasn't too thrilled/was nervous about our kids (3&5) being in the dining room. She seemed to make a face when we said no to a booster and cleared their butter knives without asking. She was not rude; but she clearly assumed their behavior would be questionable. I was on edge the entire meal worried they would do something to upset her.

Review 35:Location, property and the rustic feel. Good sized suite for small family.

Review 36:Friendly staff, delicious food and a beautiful bedroom. We could not have asked for a better experience. Conveniently located near many outdoor activities and Mount Washington.

Review 37:We stayed in the Salt Box # 17 which was in need of repair and updating! Bathroom had no fan or hooks to hold robes nor space for any of our toiletries. Towels were small, shower was tiny. Bed was soft. Fitness ctr was a joke.

Review 38:The food was excellent as was the wait staff. The location was great

Review 39:Noisy air con. Room needed refurbishing (but the owners are doing this)

Review 40:Superb hospitality, excellent host and staff. Charming old buildings. Nice Spa / Gym. Excellent breakfast

Review 41:Absolutely nothing

Review 42:We couldn't have enjoyed more our stay in the Christmas Fram Inn. The room was big and cozy, the breakfast was amazing and the nature surrounding the hotel is breathtaking. I would totally go again!

Review 43:one small thing: the showers in both the room and the gym could/should get more pressure

Review 44:the great atmosphere in the hotel and the fabulous staff they have, specially Kathy and John who will help their guests in every possible way. a pure luxury for this (every) hotel to have these kind of employees. and lets not forget the diners we had, three times, they were amazingly good

Review 45:We loved our stay in the Barn. The breakfast was undeniably the best ever! Your staff was so courteous, the ambiance and atmosphere was perfect. The pool, sauna and weight room was enjoyed. Next time we'll visit for a spa treatment.

Review 46:No dislikes.

Review 47:The room was much larger than expected. My husband and I purposely chose a weekend without a school vacation. The room was very quiet. We expected there were no children staying. Went to breakfast and saw multiple families. We were surprised. We never heard them.

Review 48:we booked a deluxe king suite, but when we got there no king suites left... They gave us sugar house cottage(cost was more- at no exter charge) rustic and cute,( wall paper outdated, some seams held on with clear packing tape) With a little updating could be really nice.

Review 49:excellent food, very clean, great staff, beautiful town in Jackson, nh!!! we ended up with sugar house cottage, cute, rustic, private. We expected deluxe king suite, more luxurious. cottage nice, but for our 40th, suite would have been nice.

Review 50:Not enough electrical outlets

Review 51:I was in Hospitality so I know the worth of good service. The resturant was great food and service. Our interaction with the staff was pleasurable. Sandra and Gary seemed right on top of their business and made you feel at home.

Review 52:Our stay was not pleasant. My husband and I and the other couple we were with were shocked at the "Free breakfast" on Saturday morning with screaming shrieking kids, roaming kids that filled the restaurant. The breakfast food quality was poor. We waited 40 minutes for our breakfast and could hardly hear ourselves talk. We found out that all of these families go to the Polar Express and the Christmas Farm Inn is one of the hotels that sponsor it. If we had known that we would have picked another hotel. The room was outdated and we could not enjoy the living room in the main building as it was loaded again with kids running around. Probably good for families with young kids but not good for Adults wanting a nice stay without all the commotion!

Review 53:Free coffee and cookies in the lounge, never available when we looked. If you want an evening meal, book before you go, nothing available on the day you arrive. After reading advertisements, we were rather disappointed with the reality.

Review 54:Jackson is a picture book village, very pretty, but quite a long way out for anything to do in the evening, particularly in autumn. Hotel room very comfortable, spa bath, fridge etc. Very large, with a separate lounge area, but a little dull, needed brighter light.

Review 55:Had to make reservations to eat there! I paid enough to stay there, I shouldn't be turned away because I didn't know you needed to make reservations to eat!

Review 56:Room was nice! Breakfast was great! Very cozy place!

Review 57:Nothing.

Review 58:Huge full breakfast included in price. Open layout of rounds. Excellent evening meals - also used by locals which is a recommendation. We did not eat anywhere else in our 3 day stay. Easy access to local falls, forests, etc.

Review 59:The pool is very small but that's not the main reason for the stay so not really a problem.

Review 60:The little bar at the Inn is great, the decor is like a Cornish pub and the barman very helpful and entertaining. We ate in there on our second night and preferred it to the main dinning room. We had high expectations of the food and overall it was pretty good with a varied menu of not all-American dining, which was a pleasant change. The rooms are very comfortable but some a little cramped. It's a nice place to stay and the Christmas theme isn't too overwhelming.

Review 61:We were disappointed to arrive at about 5.30pm after a tiring day - 90-mile drive and loads of hiking - only to be told the dining-room was fully booked until 8.30pm because of locals taking advantage of a 2-for-1 promotion. We ate in the very small pub, which felt like a compromise. i thought they should have set more tables aside for hotel guests.

Review 62:Just an all-round nice stay in a lovely village - we were there at the time of Return of the Pumpkin People, which was entertaining. We were given a fabulous suite, and my wife enjoyed the swimming-pool.

Review 63:The television could've been bigger. Other than that everything was really pleasant. Felt welcomed.

Review 64:Breakfast was super, comfy beds, staff called me by my name, campfire for roasting marshmallows, grounds and landscaping very well kept, ans the jacuzzi had perfect water temperature. I can't say enough about the great weekend the 6 of us 40+ years of age had. Relaxing, leaf peeping and the wonderful restaurants. We would definitely live to return. We stayed in Barnroom #3. Thanks for wonderful service.

Review 65:What's not to like!

Review 66:The location is just breathtaking. The staff is kind and attentive without being intrusive. The rooms are fantastic and range from historic old buildings to more current buildings. We stayed in the Carriage House suite and immediately felt stress free. A great get away venue.

Review 67:Walls are thin - we needed to move rooms Decor and fittings are old and tired For the price, you could get better quality accommodation. The 'traditional/historic/quaint' look doesn't cover up the real need to refurbish this hotel and bring up to current standards.

Review 68:Location is excellent Food in restaurant is good

Review 69:Dinner and breakfast service was great on the first day but a bit random on the second.

Review 70:Individual rooms with period character. A Jacuzzi in our room! Not the kind of place for people who like sterile modernist hotels.

Review 71:No computer/printer available for guests to use.

Review 72:Staff so friendly and welcoming and very comfy bed. Evening meal was superb, as was the breakfast in the lovely dining room. Definitely recommended.

Review 73:We stayed in The Carriage House which offered very spacious accommodation. The room was quite dark but had plenty of lamps. There was quite a bit of noise from the room above and I would have loved proper cups for my coffee and not paper ones.

Review 74:There were lots of opportunities to see beautiful 'fall foliage' in the area (the main reason for our visit). The food in Christmas Farm Inn was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 75:The sleep sofa was the least comfortable of the beds.

Review 76:My daughter & I & five children stayed in one of the loft rooms and it was perfect for us. The kids enjoyed the pool. Their breakfast was excellent & even catered to our gluten free needs. Just a short drive to Storyland too.

Review 77:Wifi was in and out

Review 78:The staff was exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was beyond our expectations. This is a must stay. Would love to be there at Christmas!

Review 79:Could use a little updating/maintenance in some areas

Review 80:Feels like a cozy B&B with the privacy of a hotel. Nice indoor and outdoor pools. Very good breakfast options that are free with your room. Nice large room beautiful view of the mountains. Fun christmas theme.

Review 81:Mattress needs to be replaced very uncomfortable to sleep on. CH 11

Review 82:Staff extremely friendly and always helpful. Room was gorgeous. Ground are beautiful.

Review 83:Creaky floors, doors and bed.

Review 84:Beautiful scenery, close proximity to trail heads, excellent facilities (gym, pool), excellent restaurant. Highlight was close encounter with 3 bears when walking back from lunch in the cafe in Jackson, only 200 metres from the Hotel.

Review 85:My only complaint was I called down to the desk(pressed 0) and got an answering machine. I left a message for a callback which I never got. My daughter called us from home, got the answering machine, left a message for us to call her,but no message was forwarded to us. This, however, will NOT keep us from returning!!

Review 86:We love the King Suite we had in the Carriage House. It was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. We loved having the deck. The view from it was spectacular. We will definitely be returning for a third visit.

Review 87:It would be great if they could update their TV's to be a bigger size....

Review 88:we have stayed here many times and are always happy with our stay.

Review 89:Leaving

Review 90:Very accommodating.

Review 96:The mattress needs to be replaced.

Review 107:Location.

Review 111:The quaintness and location. The friendly helpful staff. Great food

Review 112:Great resort ... Spa, terrific. Britney, at front was delightful and helpful.

Review 113:Friendliness of staff. Excellent food. All the little extras inc fireplace, pool, jacuzzi, newspaper, a wonderful breakfast and dinner

Review 114:Nothing was bad

Review 115:Everything was very good

Review 116:Spa and pool

Review 117:We were unpleasantly surprised with a per day charge of 25 dollars per pet. Three days was an additional charge of 150 dollars.

Review 118:Excellent facilities included in the price. Excellent location and very friendly staff.

Review 119:Very nice hotel and staff ! Just imagine it in winter, it must be really great. Otherwise, the best breakfast we got during our 3 weeks in the US

Review 120:Excellent hotel and staff

Review 121:Everything just wish had a microwave in room that's all

Review 122:Views from rooms were limited to some extent.

Review 123:Nice area and grounds to walk about to take in the atmosphere.

Review 124:Not enough pressure in shower in carriage house, shower nozzle didn't seam like it worked properly.

Review 125:Room, breakfast, area.

Review 126:Fabulous hotel with wonderful friendly staff

Review 127:The staff was friendly and accommodating. Playground area was a big hit with my son.
