Review 1：What i didnt like was that you have to pass reception in bathrobe if you going to spa. But overall experience just amazing and definitelly will recomend my ftiends!

Review 2：Stuff were very proactive and intuitive. Location simply amazing, spa very nice and luxury. Hotel it self very luxury, clean. Very warm feeling in rooms thanks to natural materials. Hotel facilities and service very good!

Review 3：Despite you have a great variety at the breakfast, if yu stay for a week it ight be a bit boring. The musli was to hard, it eas impossible to bite.

Review 4：The staff is very friendly. The location is perfect. Just next to the lake, and 15 minutes walk from a small ski area. If possible, take a room with the view to the lake. It is very nice that you can take your dog with you, and the room is also prepared to welcome the dog (plaid and drinking boil prepared). The wellness area and location is fantastic with a view to the lake. At breakfast you have not only freshly squeezed orange but also grapefruit juice, smoothie and juice of vegetable+fruits.

Review 5：Having paid a great deal to stay at this hotel it was very disappointing that the hotel seemed to penny pinch in many instances and the organisation and service left a lot to be desired in areas. Particularly, the New Years' Gala Dinner - no details of itinerary or of the menu were available. It was only on asking at reception that we found out that the event started at 19:00; no drinks were included with the dinner, even soft drinks - even tap water was charged for. The same was true of the New Years' Day Brunch which itself was not advertised and if we had not heard it mentioned during the evening then we would have missed this despite being included in our stay. Having paid a great deal for the Dinner, at least house wine should have been provided in the price and soft drinks at Brunch. The room cleaning was slightly hit-and-miss with cleaning needing to be prompted and water not being provided on at least one day. Also there was a strong smell from the shower, which was fixed when complained about but should have been noticed by housekeeping earlier. The service in the Lobby Bar was exceedingly poor. Certain guests were given all the staff's attention at the expense of others. Efficiency was also poor as there was no Barman and waiting staff and supervisors were tripping over each other preparing drinks and not serving. Suggestions would be: better training staff who seemed willing but needed direction; maintain a division of labour - waiting staff wait, supervisors direct, barmen prepare drinks; more interfacing of management with all guests - we were never asked if all was fine until leaving; afternoon tea and cakes included in the price as in many cheaper establishments.

Review 6：A la carte food was excellent. Spa facilities and spa staff were also excellent. The setting is breathtaking with views across the lake to the Tatra mountains. The hotel is also well equipped and the room extremely comfortable with quality furnishing in perfect condition. The helpfulness of most staff should also be mentioned.

Review 7：Excellent services standards. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but the staff were very polite and ensured that it was worth the wait. We had a lake view room and the view was out of this world. The property itself was in excellent condition considering that it was built over a century ago.

Review 11：The Kempinski High Tatras really takes advantage of the picturesque mountain sea at which it is located. There is a huge focus on sport in the area, with many runners making their way around the sea from early to late. The area also offers walks to other mountain seas and excursions. Our plush room had a view of the sea which was perfect to wake up to each morning. We booked half board and although the restaurant offers a wider menu, our reduced menu with choices of 2 for each course was perfect each time. The breakfast is a combination of a thoughtful selection of breakfast components served buffet style and made-to-order components such us poached eggs or pancakes. The spa focuses on comfortable resting areas with perfect view out to the sea and I highly recommend booking a spa treatment, especially a massage!! Although we can't judget the quality, the Kempinski High Tatras makes an effort to welcome children without compromising comfort for those travelling without. We left feeling very very relaxed!!

Review 40：For about 3 days in a row I would get my tea water for breakfast almost warm and had to constantly request for boiling water because the tea wouldn't infuse in it. The waiters were very helpful and managed to get it right when I asked for a replacement. There was a Lady in the breakfast room that dresses in a dark uniform whom we assumed managed the waiters in the morning. She was very rude handling the request one day and was surprisingly offended when I asked specifically for boiling water. After her huffing and puffing and angry look, she intendedly made all the sounds that can be possibly made when placing a tea pot onto a table and putting the tea bag in it. I thought that was very unprofessional from her side and especially in a 5 star hotel. The towels that were available for us felt old, clean, but felt that they have been reused for years. The pool in the spa was cold, in winter we expected a temperature controlled pool. Basically, it was a great stay but lacked the special touch we were so accustomed too from other 5 star hotels we stayed at.

Review 41：We were briefed on everything available for us in the hotel upon our arrival, which was really amazing. The welcome hot drink was a lovely touch too. The very helpful receptionists also pointed out interesting places to visit in the area and good restaurants to dine in. I also booked a massage on arrival and that was exquisite! The view from our room was really nice, we had a lake view and the bathroom had a lovely shower and amazingly heated floors. The spa was lovely and not over crowded with guest and the jacuzzi was nice and warm. Room service menu is limited but amazingly well presented and the food was lovely. We loved the daily bus that drove us to and from the ski slopes and the ski room that dries your snowboard boots, I think that was a nice and unique addition. In brief, the stay was really nice and comfortable.

Review 52：I think that during high season the spa area gets really full. We were there in November, weekdays, which made the hotel nearly empty and we had calm also in spa area. Also, in autumn the nature is mainly covered in fog/clouds so you cannot really enjoy the view.

Review 53：We were looking for holidays where they welcome babies, as our daughter was only 5 months old, and where I could relax, enjoy some spa procedures and have walks in beautiful nature with my husband. Besides pool with amazing view to the lake and mountains I very much enjoyed also the spa area. Great restaurant with careful and helpful staff made every meal with our baby smooth thing. As a fresh mom I appreciated that receptionists remembered the name of my daughter and lost few words and smiles every time we met.

Review 56：It was definitely worth spending a little extra to stay at the Kempinski. All of the staff have been amazing and cannot do enough for you which is a world away from many other hotels we have stayed at in Slovakia. We were given a free upgrade to a room with a lake view which is truly stunning. As we are staying with our 4 month old daughter we were a little worried whether the hotel would have everything we needed, but they have gone above and beyond at every opportunity to make us feel comfortable. A truly enjoyable and relaxing break and we hope to return someday.

Review 57：This is a rather traditionally furnished hotel with excellent facilities and friendly staff. Great food, lovely spa, and beautiful views. The bed is super comfy and lets you have a good sleep after a day of hiking. Very well located. They even offered me a birthday cake after breakfast which was a nice surprise - arranged by my mum of course! :) You won't find a better hotel in High Tatras!

Review 66：The way the chef prepares different kinds of meet. It is a new method, but whether you order chicken, pork, fish, duck, the meet comes out tasting almost the same. It looks like they do not use grilling, pan frying, or baking methods.

Review 77：My strongest criticism is on the WiFi connection. There is a paying option, but the free option is miserable. Really slow, it reminds you of the old 56k modems. That is shameful in a hotel of this category, and they should change it immediately. They wont charge for hot water, they shouldn't charge to check you online paper subscription in decent time. Use of the different wellness facilities (btw, they could improve the instructions) is included in room charge, but treatments (massages...) are too expensive, higher than in many 5***** hotels in Paris or Barcelona. Finnally, at any particular moment, at least one of those facilities (finnish sauna, cool pool, caldearioum, etc...) was out of order (never the same).

Review 78：This is an amazing hotel surrounded by a wonderful landscape. Rooms, common places, and indeed the spa -wellness facilities are all first class (and really beautiful). The staff is nice and kind in every detail.
