Review 1：This is a wonderful family-owned hotel with an intimate layout and spectacular view of the vast valley below. Our suite was indeed a cave and incredibly comfortable. I had the soundest sleep in memory! The owners take great pride in their hospitality, make the majority of their delicious breakfast items themselves, and are a wealth of knowledge about the area and Turkey in general.

Review 2：Magical Rox! This was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a few busy days in Istanbul. From start to finish, we were made to feel part of the Rox family. Breakfast was delicious and always ready for us as soon as we woke up. Morning chats with the owner Arda was a lovely start to the day, he was always happy to chat with us and help us organise anything we needed. Room was beautifully designed and cleaned every day, we never had to ask for anything. Warm and cosy room, considering how cold it was outside. Perfect view from the terrace and loved relaxing on the straw chair..even in the winter! The overall ambiance of the hotel and the quirky decorative touches made our stay perfect! It was like being welcomed into someone's home and made to feel like it was our own! Thankyou Arda and staff...and Richie the dog of course! :) we loved Rox and sure you will too!

Review 3：It's very cozy and comfortable place to stay. Cappadocia is very magical and Rox Cappadocia is a right hotel to feel it - exotic rooms, terrace, breakfast, a lot of interesting details. Staying in the hotel was like coming at my best friends' home.

Review 4：We had a very tastefully decorated room with a fantastic view overlooking the Cappadocia landscape and directly next to (within 50m of) Uchisar Castle. The breakfast was delicious - organic, locally farmed eggs, tasty cheeses, excellent coffee (for a coffee picky couple) and a selection of innovative and yummy homemade jams. Mr. Arda Zor who is the proprietor was a true gentleman offering to assist wherever possible, prompt to respond on Whatsapp when we were out of the hotel, providing honest and good recommendations for tours, places to dine, balloon experiences without a coercive strategy. He even got us sorted with a nice discount at a very decent hammam in Goreme. I strongly recommend anyone looking to visit Cappadocia to stay at the Rox and or give him a buzz to ask a question or two. Finally - there is a Nespresso machine in the room! How about that!

Review 7：We are couple from Singapore and have stayed in Rox for 3 days during Sep 2015. To use one word to describe my overall experience, Excellent would be the choice. We received very warm hospitality from the owner Arda and he would provide you with Honest advice on everything. If you have not decided on where to stay in Cappadocia, I would recommend you give Uchisar a close thought. Rox is just besides Uchisar castle (highest point in the town) and you would have excellent view of the balloons from the roof top. I find Goreme very touristy and don’t think can see the launching of balloons in the morning. I was in Turkey for 2 weeks and Rox gave me the best overall experience, thanks Arda.

Review 8：When a hotel gets a superb rating (9+) I expect a pinnacle of location and comfort - all in relation to the value of money of course. I stay in 20+ hotels over the year and I've seen hotels that just exceeded expectations above and beyond. This hotel just isn't there yet: We stayed in a room with no real window, bad lightening (also in the bathroom), no hygiene products, a shower that flooded and no silencing of any noises to the outside (when somebody spoke outside it felt like the person was standing in your room). It wasn't possible to rest and relax in the hotel's outside facilities as there are almost no places in the shadow. Don't get me wrong, this hotel is "OK", but it needs to improve a lot in order to justify this kind of rating. Simple touches like improving the lightening and bathroom facilities, supplies of hygiene products, parasols are easy to integrate and for me the basis of a superb rating without investing a fortune.

Review 14：Everything about this place. It's true to its history and it was sensational, spicy, historical and magical. I love the animals cared for on the property, the staff were traditional and I loved that about it. The terrace was spectacular, with a amazing view and beautiful furnishing.. All very ottoman like and ornate to say the least. The owner of the place was such a amazing man, very helpful in everything, attentive and always checking that everything was ok.

Review 17：We loved this hotel for the view from the rooftop terrace and very attentive owner and staff. We found our particular room and the bathroom a bit small and dimly lit. A fan in the room would be good as only very small window.

Review 18：Everything!!! The location(at Uchisar)is the best in cappadocia to view the hot air balloon and beautiful valleys. Uchisar is the nicest town in the area. The breakfast is the best we had in three weeks in Turkey. The owner and staffs are very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our four nights stay in Rox Cappadocia. Will definitely stay there again when we get back to cappadocia ( cappadocia is amazing place that you must to see and stay at least a few nights)

Review 19：My friend has introduced us the hotel. He has been stay here for 2 nights last summer and told me the handsome boss Arda is such a nice guy. I stayed at the cave hotel for 2 nights wiz my friend Timber. The facilities of Rox Cappadocia is perfect, everything is unique and beautiful, especially the view of the rooftop in the morning. Both of us enjoyed our stay here and we really like the breakfast.

Review 20：This hotel was one of the best I have ever been to, it is really unique. Arda, the owner, was really friendly and the location was super. My family enjoyed the stay as well and thought of coming back again. Arda helped us arrange lots of activities and we spent the whole days out. The air balloons view is a must see and the design of the rooms and the whole hotel is so special and personal. The owner puts a lot if effort in it and I found it priceless. The dog was friendly and cute, the staff were so sweet and the breakfast was delicious. I would so do this again the whole experience in Cappadocia was one of a kind and the hotel made it more special. Thank you very much for making this quite an experience.

Review 21：The bathroom had no door so for travelling friends it was a bit awkward but would be fine for a couple. The cave also doesn't have air conditioning but it was quite cool anyway even in the middle of summer

Review 22：Arda was amazing. He helped us when our flight was delayed and spoke fantastic English. He recommended a nice restaurant and offered to help with anything else we required. The breakfast was authentic and delicious. Location was not in the centre of town but there were plenty of lovely restaurants within walking distance. The terrace on the roof of the hotel is just beautiful to watch the sunrise and the balloons

Review 23：Our stay was really lovely. Our kids had their own room (the large cave room) and we had a separate room to ourselves. The views were fabulous and magical in the morning when the balloons were rising up. The hotel is located up at the top of the hill but there are plenty of shops and restaurants within close walking distance down the hill.

Review 24：We stayed in the cave room which was nice but a little cramped for us and our three small children. Shower was difficult to use and would spray down the entire bathroom if you weren't careful. Beds were not very comfortable but Arda did try and add extra paddings to help with the issue.

Review 30：Lovely, cozy and romantic rooms. Extremely well decorated with a personal touch in every corner. A mix of styles well assembled. The most beautiful terrace decoration and views i have seen in Cappadocia. Extremely personalised service, specially the owner, a very good host. The best breakfast i had in Turkey including the special presentation. Location is perfect in the most charming village of Cappadocia. Close to the lovely castle, nice restaurants, tea shops and bazaar.

Review 32：Arda, the hotel owner, was really enthusiastic in helping with questions we had prior to arrival, and helping to make arrangements etc in ensuring a pleasant stay. Everyday, as and when possible, he will spend time during breakfast to understand plans for the day and how he could help. The staff working in the hotel were also warm and kind ladies who took it upon themselves to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It felt more like I was putting up with a friend rather than a hotel! Thanks for the hospitality! Arda put in utmost effort in every detail of the hotel, which can be spotted I various corners. It was also amazing that some of these decorations you see in the hotel are handcrafted by him! Absolutely love the atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was something to look forward to! It consists of a spread of locally grown products, and upon requests, you could have something of your choice when possible! Finally, though the rooms were cave rooms and there was no window, the rooftop lounge offered a panorama view of the Cappadoccia region, where you could see the Goreme town as well as Pigeon Valley.

Review 34：Days spent in Cappadocia were one of the sweetest memories during our trip in Turkey. Staying in Rox Cappadocia was definitely one of the best experience. We had a cave suite and it was really authentic Cappadocia! Beddings are comfortable and shower is nice. Overall clean and tidy. The best part is that Arda and his family were extremely nice and hospitable. Arda just helped you to prepare everything so well, including the balloon or any other tours. Also we love the homemade breakfast. They made really good jams!!! I would strongly recommend staying at Rox Cappadocia! Compared to Goreme, actually I prefer Uchisar where is less touristic but convenient as well. There are also some nice restaurants very nearby! Wish to come back again!

Review 35：Clean, comfortable rooms and more importantly, very friendly owner and environment. Arda took care of everything and always had a solution to every problem. He gave us excellent recommendations and made our stay a great experience. Higly recommend Cappadocia Rox. Breakfast was amazing.

Review 36：We are so so glad that we stayed in Uchisar out of all the towns in Cappadocia. It was way less touristy as well as being less expensive, but had everything we needed. The Rox Cappadocia is a beautiful hotel and the cave suite we stayed in was a really cool experience. I probably wouldn't want to stay in a cave for a whole week (it is dark and has spotty wifi at times) but for a few days it was perfect and a once in a life time experience along with everything else in Cappadocia. The couple that owns the hotel is very sweet and helpful. They recommended a fantastic restaurant (though recommendations are of course swayed by things they get in return from other business owners, which is to be expected in a tourist town) and helped us figure out which hiking trail to take (Do Love Valley it is great!). We were also able to book our hot air balloon ride through them which was convenient. Super happy with our choice to stay here!

Review 37：It is a great place next to the Top stand of Cappadocia, we plan to stay here for 3 days but no rooms available, then we stay here for 1 day, the cave room is upgraded to a larger room, fantastic, and the room with view is very lovely and cozy. You know, the hotel has a great terrance where you can relax and see the hot ballon.and the breakfast is amazing too, totally homemade. BTW, the host is very handsome and his lady is beautiful :)

Review 38：Rox Cappadocia is a place you fall in love with, get attached to, and want to visit again as soon as you leave it.It has a spectacular location, nestled right under the weird-looking Uchisar fortress, and a breathtaking view of the many wonderful valleys and villages, with snow-capped Mount Erciyes in the background.The hotel itself, a three-level renovated old stone house with many arches, narrow stairs, and hidden nooks surrounding outside central areas, has 6 clean and cozy rooms. Especially a couple of cave room suites- that do not feel claustrophobic- and a room with a view that is booked months in advance. The entire place is decorated with hand picked objects by the passionate owner Arda, a compulsive antiques lover who has a story for each and even designed some of the lighting and furniture from repurposed items found here and there. The jam holder at breakfast, or the iron lamp in the cave room is definitely worth checking.Everyday, there is a new flowerpot here, another brass jug there, and Richie the dog slaloms expertly amidst all.The air is filled with smells of shiny flowers, freshly baked sweets and wet earth, because of occasional rain showers that can make rainbows magically appear.At sunrise on the terrace, wrapped in the hotel’s blanket, with a steaming cup of tea to fight sleepiness, one can watch, mesmerized, hundreds of hot air balloons rising very slowly to fill the sky with bright colors, or suspended in between the surreal fairy chimneys in Pigeon valley, Love valley or Red valley.You can pick Rox Cappadocia for its location, its comfortable rooms and the home made breakfast, but you will come back for the home experience and the feeling of belonging to a unique place. Arda works very hard to make your stay unforgettable. Every morning, he sat with us to suggest a personalized day’s program based on our preferences; the best restaurant to eat tandoor food; the cheapest driver; the most unique souvenir shop.

Rox Cappadocia has an awesome panoramic view overlooking the entire valley and you will see hot balloons filling the sky in the morning. The breakfast is best in the region. Most importantly, Arda is the most friendly, welcoming, and helpful hotel owner ever. He offered us so many advices and help in excursion planning, restaurants, and transfers. He will always arrange the best for you and make you feel like home.

Review 44：Just at the foot of Uchisar Castle.. High location commanding views of the whole of the Calley below. As well as Ichisar itself you can see Pigeon Valley, Goreme and the day after taking a hot air balloon flight Do Wake Up Early to watch the balloons in the valley getting ready for flights, the humming sound of the burners and the colours of the tens of balloons are unforgettable. All from the terrace just above our room. Arda and his staff are fantastically warm. Their breakfast is first class. Area will give you the best advice on where to go each day to enjoy this beautiful part of Turkey

Review 47：The beds were not very comfortable, the bathroom lacks facilities like hair conditioner and body lotion.The basins were located in the room it self outside the bathroom was a bit impractical we stayed in two rooms both lack view of the valley which was a bit of disappointment. We felt it was overpriced.

Review 51：Wonderful small family run hotel. The hosts are very charming and efficient young couple. Guests are greeted by a large good-natured dog. All rooms are individually designed, lots of lovely old things, even in the toilets. On the upper terrace, on the perimeter lined with comfortable sofas is wonderful view. Breakfast is above all praise - young master cake bakes, his mother offers different varieties of jam. Dish with cheeses can be drawn in the spirit of the small Dutch. Recommendation 5 +++

Review 56：Great location with stunning view, located in the middle of everything walkable distance to the viewpoint. However the view from hotel roof itself already give you panorama view of Uchisar. Rooms are very clean and cozy, well decorated. Above all, a very warm homely welcome from Arda plus great tips make the journey more memorable.

Review 57：Honestly we loved everything about this hotel but let me start with the stylish decoration. You can see that each object is uniquely selected for both the rooms and other areas of the hotel, which is successfully renovated in line with the original cappadocian style. The facilities in the room are above your expectation and so is the cleanliness of the room. A friendly local lady is serving a wonderful breakfast where most of the products are coming from local villagers. In terms of the location Uchisar is the best place to stay in a Cappadocia trip due to wonderful view, being a stylish and less crowded village. Last but not the least the owner Arda who is a professional in hotel business is really welcoming and helpful. He arranged both our transfer and daily tours. There is nothing that I can list as an improvement area about Rox Cappadocia, it definitely shows what a boutique hotel should be like!

Review 58：First the village of Uchisar is for sure the best one in the area : well situated, calm and very close from Goreme if you need to spend the night there. The rooftop terrasse is really great : the view is incredible. The room was really cosy and the decoration is great. Arda the owner of the hotel does his best to help you and give you all the details you need to make your stay wonderful !! And all the staff is friendly !!! Plus, the breakfast is really good (aah all the good crepes with "bal" and my turkish coffee) Hope coming back soon :-)

Review 59：We stayed at the Cave Suit. It was sweet and romantic (even with couple of young kids a round). I strongly recommended trying the Cave suit. the hotel has very charming rooftop terrace with a great view of Cappadocia. Our host was great and very helpful. Review 62：The whole hotel has a very authentic and characteristic flaire. Sleeping in old rock houses and caves, surrounded by the ancient ruins and amazing landscape of Cappadocia. The staff was very friendly and helpfull all the time. Check in, check out, cleaning of the rooms and helping out with little problems was excellent. And the breakfast was delicious! I can totally recommend to stay at Rox Cappadocia. And we're looking forward to come back!

Review 64：The owner and staff were extremely hospitable from the moment we arrived. They really do make you feel at home. My parents were visiting from America and it was definitely the highlight of their stay in the country. Great breakfast, facilities, and Arda will gladly reserve any tours you desire.

Review 65：If you are driving, It's a bit difficult to find the hotel as there's no sign . Finally, We called Arda. And found that it's located just next to Uçhisar castle. (Where we were driving around for 15mins. We asked some locals they don't know Rox as it's just open)

Review 66：We're group of 5 people (Family travel age from 30-48) stayed in Cave Suite for 3 nights. It's a wonderful experience with everything at Rox. Arda(owner) and Richie(his puppy) did the best to make sure that we have a pleasent stay. Cave Suit is big enough for 5 adults. Room is neat and clean. Bed also comfortable even the sofa bed! The morning view from the terrace was amazing!!! Breakfast is excellence. On the third morning that we plan to leave around 7am. We told Arda do not prepare breakfast for us. He offered to pack some bread, cake fruit and juice for us. It's beyond our expectations. Arda give us a good idea, travel plan and restaurant in Cappadocia. Also give us Short Istanbil Guide!!

Review 69：It was a great time in a great site. It is not a common hotel. The attention was so good that sometimes you feel you are in a place like home. We stayed in a room embedded in the rock and it was an experience not so common: confort, silence and calm. The breakfast, one of the best we have enjoyed. From my beautifully decorated double room to the amazing views from the terrace of the dramatic landscape and the magical sight of the balloons taking flight in the morning (which is worth getting up for!). The delicious breakfast included fresh local produce, homemade jams and other treats. The owner Arda was always available to assist with questions, tour bookings, restaurant recommendations and hiking suggestions. I was made to feel very welcomed and my stay at the Rox was a highlight of my Turkey trip. Thank you Arda and family. Highly recommend!

Review 78：Our group stay was memorable. The location is dramatic and the whole ambiance charming. The staff were very nice indeed and the owner/manager, Arda, was both always available and extremely helpful.

Review 79：There was nothing I didn't like but bring your own hair conditioner and body lotion. The air can be dry in Cappadocia.

Review 80：The hotel is on the hilltop with a view of the canyons that is mesmerising. The rooms have soft linens, diffused lighting and beautiful bathrooms. The water is pressure is great too. The breakfast has many homemade jams and spreads along with crepes, banana bread, cheeses, eggs made to order and much, much more. They will make shuttle reservations for you so don't take a highly expensive taxi. I was also lucky enough to meet the proprietor's parents and spent time on the rooftop speaking with his mother. Oh and I can't forget to mention Ritchie (?) the 4 month old Bernese Burmese puppy who steals your heart before you even unpack your bags.

Review 81：It's very nice experience with Rox Cappadocia, the Terance with great view and owner Arda was very helpful to arrange the trip well. In the morning, you can see the balloon from the room, fantastic!! It's quite and confortable. Highly recommend to stay here.

The hotel decoration is superb, and its views from the rooftop are amazing, as you can see all the balloons early in the morning. Review 88：Warm welcome by Arda and his family, revealing a reliable guide for the whole Cappadocia area. Rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. A panoramic terrace just under the castle where to take a drink at sunset. Wonderful breakfast, with homemade marmalades and typical Turkish sweets. A lovely place we definitely recommend.

Review 89：Very nice hotel and a very kind boss who paid a lot of attention to details and quality. The location is also great that you can see the whole Goreme area and the balloons raise without going out in the morning. Everything is so relaxing that we don't even want to go out during the daytime! We absolutely hope to come again :)

Review 90：Well, we must admit we didn't found any equivalent in all the many travels we had and especially not in Turkey. The owner, Arda, and the staff are absolutly friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was way too good with home made bakery, jam and anything you could want. The rooms are ALL delightfully decorated and you can easily notice that the owner took great care about creating a unique experience in each one of them. We stayed in the panoramic view room but had the chance to visit them all. We highly suggest you to try this hotel, and we promise you won't regret it !
