Reviews for Hilltop Suite
Review 1:The staff that night was extremely rude. She stated if we had more than 5 people in the room she would kick us out with no refund when I had a group of 5 with two rooms booked. Three stayed in one two stayed in the other. I was then given a room with stained sheets. Black stains at that. Instead of being moved to another room we were all asked to gather our things and had to wait downstairs again. Aside from that the ice machine in the hotel didn't work and the location where the ice machine was was filled with trash bags more like a dumping area.
Review 2:The size and view of the rooms
Review 3:The heater was damaged and we were unable to keep warm. We were always cold. I called the front desk and filled a complaint and no one came to fix the problem.
Review 4:The lack of cleanliness. We were in our room for approximately 3 mins. Taking the elevator you can see hand prints smeared on the door. The hotel is in process of "renovated rooms" however we weren't so fortunate. Room walls are so thin as you walk through the hallway you could hear every conversation as you pass. After opening the door you could smell the staleness in the air. We probably were the first to enter that room in months possibly close to a year. The room had holes in the wall from previous drill marks, the bedding and wallpaper are very old, and neither one of us felt safe sleeping through the night there. Fortunately the staff was helpful and kind and voided our transaction. As we were leaving we saw more people checking in and they gave us the feeling of relief for checking out. Hiltop suite, has a "no party rule" waiver. I'm relieved double tree has purchased this property otherwise I would of entered management to hotel hell with chef Ramsey
Review 5:The staff, especially Ari were kind and willing to go above and beyond to please their clients
Review 6:The manager was rude did not have any type of customer service does not belong in the retail industry. I think the man whose last name was Mr. Pue he was a male.

Review 12:When we arrived we found out that the Jacuzzi and pool were closed. Next we found out that the restaurant and lounge were closed. The only close restaurants were Wendy's and Denny's. Our room carpets were also filthy and our cable tv consisted of 3 channels.
Review 13:It was close to the auto club finals at the Fairplex.
Review 14:Hotel is in need of a major upgrade. Carpeting is dire need of update. One fire door was off of it's hinges.
Review 15:Large room, good bed. Plenty of parking, even underground parking. Didn't us the pool, but it did look inviting.
Review 16:Everything. From the broken pool/spa to outdated rooms to disguesting breakfast to horrible smell. 0 customer service, no wifi, no fitness room and no management willing to help
Review 17:Absolutely nothing. Most blatant example of false advertising ever. Wost experience while traveling ever!
Review 18:Double charged me for room accidentally...big brown stain on ceiling over bed...room was hot on check-on, took HOURS to cool down to comfortable.
Review 19:Lobby is nice...
Review 20:I was unaware of the $100.00 hold that would be put on my card. The bathroom was broke, the ceiling, lamp shades and the couch were dirty. I asked for a room on the 1st first because we were traveling with a senior and my room was on the 3rd. Why ask if you are not going to do it???
Review 21:The location
Review 22:had to go to lobby to get ice, knobs in shower were missing, tv remote had no batteries, cable tv kepted turning off, and at times it smelled like an outlet was burned out.
Review 23:Descent bfast, plenty of parking in lower level, good size beds, AC was in working condition.
Review 24:The look of the place. Very dirty, broken down in many places. The bedfelt like sleeping on top of rocks. Tv only had about 5 channels. Thecarpet was very dirty. Overall, the place was not taken care of at all.
Review 25:In all honestly, there was nothing we liked about this hotel.
Review 26:Staff was rude , Hotel was in disarray , Outdated decor , stains on the carpet throughout Hotel, Fire doors in Hallways were broken off hinges on the Third floor , The fire alarm sounded @ 3:22am waking up the entire Residence , Apparently false alarm . Air conditioning was way to loud . Overall this property should be closed & Remodeled .

Review 28:Air conditioner extremely noisy (kept waking me up). Bathroom fan extremely noisy.
Review 29:Large room, including wet bar. Brand new carpet. Very nice beds and linens. Decent breakfast, including eggs and sausage.
Review 30:The room had a musty smell.the aircon was noisy. The WiFi was not available in all the rooms. The pool was not open and that was a reason for the choice.
Review 31:The room was large and spacious.the beds were huge and comfortable.
Review 32:Uncomfortable hard bed, poor breakfast. The night before she told me it was eggs and sausage and I found out in the morning that it was hard boiled eggs and sausage. She also said there would be fruit and it was a bowl of canned fruit.
Review 33:Clean, good price
Review 34:Not working in terms of laundry, ice machinery, air conditioner. Although they changed a room we were not happy because the window of bath room was broken. I reported a staff, they did'nt fix it. And we always took opened the window. You can imagine!

Review 36:location, large room, underground parking
Review 37:The pool was out of order and had brown stains all over it. Beds weren't so comfy. Showers looked a little dirty.
Review 38:Thought it was way better than the bad reviews posted online. Not too shabby and the booking was cheap. Would come here again for the price and location.
Review 39:My room was dirty I understand its under new management but I was disappointed that the room was neglected and the restaurant was still under construction.
Review 40:The staff was very polite.
Review 41:First the bed was way too hard. Then tv only had 3 or 4 stations that came through with a lot of static. Hair dryer didn't work, thank God I always bring mine. Shower head must have hard water build up, cause no water. Then breakfast, toasters didn't work and after a tour group came through, no food was left for anyone else.
Review 42:Rust in bathroom, kitchen sink didn't work, bath tub hand rail broken with rust, bath tub had rust crumbs everywhere, tv channels weren't working. Continental breakfast wasn't kid friendly at all and gave my son a stomach ache.

Review 47:Staff very friendly. Kat at front desk allowed us to check in early(2 pm) because we had to be ready for a college graduation by 3 pm.
Review 48:Everything. It was such a dilapidated & run down hotel. The refurbished room was better but had a large water mark in the xeiling that spoiled everything.
Review 49:The refurbished room was better but had a large water mark in the xeiling that spoiled everything.
Review 50:The main purpose of staying in a hotel is to get a good night's rest. That didn't happen. The bed itself wasn't uncomfortable. It was the mattress pad, bedding and especially the pillows that made the experience a nightmare. We complained the next morning but they offered no compensation.
Review 51:The layout of the room was convenient for entertaining while others slept. It was interesting that there was a TV in the bathroom.
