Hotel Koliba sells fast on our site. Built in the traditional style of a Slovak shepherd's hut, Hotel Koliba is located 500 feet from the lakeshore and just a 30-minute drive from Bratislava's centre. It offers typical Slovak cuisine and a free outdoor pool, fitness centre and hot tub.
Each air-conditioned room has a private bathroom and is equipped with a minibar and an LCD TV. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire building.
Traditional Slovak dishes and grilled specialities are served in the rustic-style restaurant of the Koliba Hotel. Breakfast is available every morning. 3-course menus are also offered and on weekends you can enjoy live gypsy music.
Guests are also offered sun umbrellas, deck chairs and beach towels. Massages can be arranged and an infrared sauna can be used.

Review 1：When we arrived at 1700hr the room was not ready although you can check in at 1400hr. When we got the room after one hour, there was no airconditioning on booking.com it is marked dat all rooms have one. we ask for an other room luckily we got one. They asked 8 euros extra for this but after negotiate we didn't have to pay the extra cost.

Review 2：Very friendly and helpful staff, nice family atmosphere in a hotel, tasty meals especially Slovakian dishes, lovely small outdoor pool with sun loungers. Good value for money, good location, very near to Senec lake.

Review 3：The only thing was I like to sunbath and although there was a pool and the picture shows sunbeds at the pool I couldn't get access to any. The temperature was very hot on our stay and I would have liked to have a day by the pool.

Review 4：We enjoyed the entire stay. The staff were extremely helpful. I used the translator on the desk computer when struggling it added to the holiday. The room cleaning was great, the food was good.

Review 5：Really poor service and quality of food, the restaurant is nicely decorated but the rude attitude of the waiters and the food is a nightmare. Me and my wife couldn't eat even breakfast there as even coffee was not drinkable. The parking facilities are not safe. We had to pay 10€/night for our little dog. The room wasn't cleaned properly and we could hear every noise from next room so we didn't manage to rest properly any night. One morning we were woken up by reception calling us at 8am to move our car because they wanted to set up the terrace tables outside!!! 0 QUALITY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you are looking for a nice stay, you better spend your money somewhere else ...

Review 6：Strange, there were no cupboards in our room. Most probably, that is the situation in all the rooms. Difficult to spread out a suit or a longer dress, the coat hangers on the wall are placed behind the TV set.

Review 7：The hotel is in a good location near to a motorway and yet quiet - easy access to Bratislava. Well kept, clean, our room was spacious with a nice bathroom. Excellent restaurant, serving authentic Slovak food, great soups. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff, warm, welcoming atmosphere. Strong Wi-Fi signal.

Review 9：We went to Vienna and Bratislava from this hotel. Its near both cities. Romm was great. Big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast 10/10 :)... Staff helpfull.

Review 10：Here is the hack and why I won't come back for business: I asked for a quiet room far room the restaurant as I know,the place. The receptionnist took it into account and gave mě room 3 at the very end of the corridor - good...but i ended up just above the restaurant! Singing ppl till 1am. Sad.

English is not the 1st or 2nd language in this hotel so communicating was difficult. We should have researched more about the hotel, on reflection hotel senec would have suited our needs better.

Review 20：EXELENT HOTEL for spending nice time in Slovakia. I really liked there everything - starting from very helpful staff (they kindly moved our reservation for 1 day pithout paying - because of ecident wich happened with one of our tourist), clean simply rooms, close colation to the aquapark and of course because of restorant - their soups the best I tried abroad. Good quality for good price.

Review 21：The boss in unrespectfull person, who can celebrate and wake up the whole hotel in 3 Oclock in the morning with no paying attention to the complaining guest. They are laudly plaing music and screaming. I will never stay there again.

Review 22：The hotel looks like a traditional Slovakian moutain cabin with typical Slovakian food which I would recommend to any foreigner. On Fridays and Saturdays they have live traditional music and it's very popular with the locals. It sits on lakes which is a very popular summer spot with great atmosphere . It's only half hour drive from the capital city.
