Review 1：Bed bugs and no hot water, which i tried to get staff to have a manager contact me and wasn't successful

Review 3：Didn't have a remote for tv had go to desk for one. Coffee pot didn't have coffee first time for that. Usually would have coffee with pot. People in room next to us were real loud till around 2am.

Review 9：The room smelled like cheap air freshener. Staff was slow (not the cleaning folks, they were on the spot). Unhelpful with requests. Parking lot had litter and pet waste.

Review 11：Every night one of the long term residents would get into a fight that would last a few hours and included screaming and throwing stuff at each other. I did not sleep well because of all the fighting.

Review 21：Filthy rooms, out of date facility, everything was in disrepair, roaches, everything was disgusting-even the walkways. Drug use on the premises. Loud obnoxious thug patrons - which no attempt was made to silence them.

Review 26：This is more like a motel! It is over 60 years old and needs a complete remodeling all over. The ice bucket said Howard Johnson, so obviously that is what it used to be. I refused to take a shower due to the disgustingly dirty tub that was so bad the paint was peeling off. It was awful! I will not stay there again. This is the second bad experience I have had with a hotel on Booking.com. These hotels are not all that they claim to be on this website. The girl at the front desk told me the manager was going to contact me regarding my complaint and I asked for compensation. It has been 2 days and no response yet. Not at all worth the price paid!

Review 28：The room stunk of cigarette smoke, the shower had mold, the bed was very uncomfortable and there were seedy people all around. We stayed because we were exhausted from driving all day.

Review 30：Housekeeping didn't clean the room during our entire stay. Made numerous requests and was always given an unacceptable excuse or was asked to give them more time. Roaches present during the entire stay, bathroom was patched up and was dirty as well as one of the walls being visibly cracked and patched.

I ordered on line and they supposed to tell the goods and bad, online they said that it was, free brakefast, free Wi-Fi, and swimming pool, which nothing of this was true, I feel like the money I payed was not worth it at all! !!!!!! I could stay somewhere else if I knew a lease that there was no swimming pool, my kids was very furious with me.......don't recommend to no body! !!!!!!! Very poor! !!!

Review 38：there was loud music and a club in the bottom of the hotel. there was a large amount of people lounging in the parking lot drinking and cussing. There were people smoking weed in the rooms and the whole outside smelled of it! Never again.

Review 40：We saw two roaches entering our room as we were leaving out our room and there was one we found inside as well.the property had not been cleaned in years..there were wierd bugs outside and it sounded as if there was a poor frog stuck in the empty pool...which i thought would have been filled this time of year (after memorial day) had we not been extremely tight on funds we would have never stayed. We have visited several hotels in the rva area this was far out the worst.

Review 42：The room wasn't clean, there was trash under the bed, the fridge had been unplugged and smelled awful, there was hair in the bed and the bathtub, and a dead cockroach in the bathroom. The other guests were incredibly loud and one tried to get into our room at 2am.

Review 53：The fact that we got a huge king room with a jacuzzi due to oversight of the computer system, and our secret deal thru booking.com, it was an excellent accommodation. The desk guy named Lucky was super nice and prompt with checkin. The bed had a nice mirror over top, room was very clean despite being a little dated (to be expected in a motel) and the room had a new jacuzzi in it! Awesome date night slash moving day for hubby and me and our doggie was welcome slept on the floor!

Review 55：Great location surrounded by stores Wal-Mart down the Street and Krogers Grocery store next door for your convenience. I liked that the room came with a refrigerator and Microwave for a few small items. Staff was great and offered me to stay another 3 nights I wish I could but had to get back home to Buffalo. Review 61：There seemed to be a group a people living at this hotel that were up to no good. The Richmond police were patrolling the hotel and I don't just mean driving by. A couple of different times, I met them walking around the hotel. That made me nervous. I am glad they were there, but concerned about why it would be necessary.

Review 63：They charched us more than what we booked for. We were supposed to have breakfast included. They said they did not provide breakfast but we could eat in a restaurant attached to the motel which we did but we had to pay for it!

Review 64：The hotel was obviously nice in its day, not anymore. Elevators hadnotes on how to use and what floors they would not reach. Got stuck inone for a while. Hot tub was nasty and luke-warm. When mentioned tostaff to chlorinate, he said it was natural for it to be yellow! He saidhe would go turn the heater on. (Why wasn't the heater alreadyon??). The breakfast was a joke. Everything rationed, even down to theplastic utensils (I kid not, 10 of each forks spoons and knives) 2yogurts, stale cereal, enough batter for 3 waffles. 10 jellies and 10cream cheese. A few plain bagels and some white bread and that aboutsums it up. Oh, and only1 out of 8 ice machines actually worked.....andit was on the 3rd floor. And of course it was out of ice when I finallyfound the only working machine. No refrig or microwave in the room.

Review 66：The booking.com site said that breakfast was included. A pool was shown. They did not have breakfast and the pool was not filled. I tried to speak with a manager but he was unavailable. I left him a voice mail. The office called me and said they spoke to the mgr. and that he said he could not make an adjustment.. He said that booking.com was at fault.
