Reviews for Anatelein Boutique Cave Hotel
Review 1:We liked everything about this lovely hotel, including exclusively designed rooms and very delicious breakfasts! Its nice and friendly staff made our stay comfortable and unforgettable. Especially hotel's manager Valerie, this lady knows her job and loves doing it. Our room was just fabulous - we stayed in Ege suite. We loved the Anatelein Boutique :)
Review 2:Because it is a cave hotel the floor can get a little gritty. They do provide slippers though.
Review 3:Loved the room we stayed in. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent.
Review 4:- light and pumping problems on the first day but fixed the following day, once mentioned - check out a bit messy as apparently we did not let them know enough in advance we were leaving at 7am (mentioned only the night before)
Review 5:- the cave atmosphere - the generous breakfast, different every morning - perfectly located, at the top of Uchisar, next to the castle - amazing view from the breakfast room/garden - lovely decorated room
Review 6:staff were noisy in the morning and the noise carried up as did the smoke smell.
Review 7:View from room was fantastic. The breakfast and staff were delightful. Decorations in the rooms were original and gorgeous.
Review 8:nada, zilsch, zero. I would go back tomorrow if I could.
Review 9:-Valerie. Elle est SUPER! -location, being at the foot of Uchisar castle, breathtaking no mater what weather it is -breakfast.. just amazing -the room, so cosy, comfy, chic, clean and warm
Review 10:Rooms are not soundproof, loud noises during the night (dogs)
Review 11:Beautiful location in natural caves. Beautiful village. Beautiful weather. Super friendly staff. Friendly local people. Great food. Great activities. Spacious room. Clean room. Amazing location for pictures.
Review 12:For the high standing of the hotel a swimming pool is missing. Also Kleenex type tissues should be provided in every room.
Review 13:Warm welcome by the small staff. A very personal atmosphere due to the small number of rooms. The extended breakfast time.
Review 14:It's a bit difficult to carry the luggage along the way to the hotel because the car can't get through the small path.
Review 15:The view, room, unlimited time breakfast and good services
Review 16:Location was excellent, views, breakfast was great- a lovely stay - I would recommend this place
Review 17:Nothing
Review 18:The cafe is big and nice .. the lights in the cafe and the view
Review 19:Very bad entrance drive to the hotel
Review 20:Very friendly staff, excellent location, phantastic views of the hot air balloons
Review 21:ok this isnt a bad point but it depends on how you look at it, because some of the rooms are carved out of rock and the floors are marble you do find the floors a tad dusty but they do supply complamentary slippers.
Review 22:caves right on your doorstep comfortable setting and you dont have to walk far to explore. if you walk past the caves you find your self on the other side of the hill in the tourist hub. for a reasonably fit person everything is in walking distance the furthest would be the winery which would be about an hours walk.
Review 23:Rooms are not so comfortable. Number of staff is not sufficient. There is just breakfast and very poor for turkish conditions. Except the manager, the rest of employee is very amateur. They are not so helpful. Hotel does not worth for this price.
Review 24:Hotel has a nice view.
Review 25:Not many restaurants open around the area.
Review 26:The staff were very helpful and assisted to arrange the hot air balloon and tours even though we requested for it at the last minute. The room was cosy, warm and lovely.
Review 27:No where to eat at the hotel for dinner. It was off season though but due to its location it would have been nice to be able to have the option.
Review 28:Loved the room. The bed was so comfy I was almost torn between staying in it and going to look round the caves! Wonderful bath to relax in and candles where also supplied. All toiletries, bathrobes and slippers supplied.
Review 29:Special treat of a hotel. It is decorated and run very tastefully. Therooms were more spacious than we’ve seen in other Turkish hotels. Bedsvery comfortable. Bathroom with very fancy shower. The location isamazing on the Uchisar hill with the fortress above and still affordingviews of a lovely valley . As a variation on the Turkish breakfast, theyserved eggs in a style from a different part of Turkey each day. Thebreakfast, sumptuous and delicious, was also plated beautifully. It wasserved outside in the sun with a wonderful view. The staff was veryfriendly, managing fine with minimal English, but the manager has greatEnglish and was also very helpful when on-site.
Review 30:A bit remote and a touch overpriced for Cappadocia; most buses & shuttles can't make it up to the hotel itself so there is a 100m schlepp with suitcases; limited outlook views although the castle above is spectacular. The rooms are quite variable in terms of comfort: those underground are bigger but have no natural light; those above are smaller. It would be helpful to know precisely what you're getting.
Review 31:Wonderful breakfasts served on the grass among the rock formations below the spectacular "castle". Very helpful hostess Valerie, who made bookings, suggestions without pressure. Lovely "home cooking" fixed menu dinner one evening, under the stars on the grass. Charming staff who don't speak English but entertain constantly with their efforts & instructions in Turkish (or other language of choice).
Review 32:No air condition, it is not warm. But for extremely warm people as me I would appreciate it.
Review 33:The price we got for the hotel was incredible 38€ per night for a double plus we arrived and it was kind of full so they gave us a suite with jacuzzi. The location is amazing, breakfast wonderful, wifi works perfectly in all areas.
Review 34:Staff was so rude. When we arrived our room was not ready. We went outside to sit and drink tea. Staff came and asked us to move. They were not nice to to us at all. We got some help from a restaurant owner in town. If you are looking place with nice staff I do not recommend you. If you are looking location I will recommend this place.
Review 35:Location.
Review 36:No swimming Pool
Review 37:The hotel is on Top of Uchisar Village just belove the Castle, giving usthe Panorama View of the whole Valley. So Good. On a good weather day, having a cup of coffee on the Terrace is a Delight.
Review 38:it was all very good
Review 39:everything
Review 40:Excellent place to stay with so much character. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful
