Review 1：Checkout took longer than expected due to staff member being unfamiliar with online booking procedures.

Review 3：Spacious and immaculate room. We were passing through and only stayed one night but wouldn't hesitate to stay longer. One of the best motels (value for money-wise) we've ever stayed in.

Review 7：Parking of vehicle not available outside room. jammed in on one occasion. Very noisy group of people staying in rooms surrounding ours on this Saturday night coming home drunk at 2.00am & continuing on until 3.30am.

Review 11：The proprietors made my son and I welcome for a stay of six days. Our room was always made up during our absence and each afternoon we returned to a welcoming unit. The location with respect to the town centre and the area's tourist attractions was most accessible.
Review 12：The room was perfect for my mother who has mobility difficulties. It was equipped with hand rails in the bathroom which assisted her to maintain her balance.

Review 14：So close to the town centre and plenty of eateries within walking distance. Bar fridge amply stocked. Good shower. Comfortable couch. Got to check in early (had to get ready for a function) so that was good.
Review 15：Had to leave a day earlier due to unforeseen illness with a family member in Melbourne. I was made to pay for the night that i didn't stay. This was for a Sunday night. The entire hotel was empty. It was not like they would have missed a booking from someone else.

Review 23：This hotel is family operated. It's comfy and very clean. There's a club in easy walking distance that offers quick,cheap meals. A great place to stay when you're on the road.
Review 24：Confusion as to whether breakfast, to value of $8, was or was not included. One member of staff agreed it was - on checkout they were strenuously contradicted!! For the sake of it, I just paid for breakfast - will stay somewhere else next time as plenty of equivalent competition nearby.

Review 27：The room was lovely and fresh when we first came in. The furnishings were very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Motel was single storey, so all rooms were ground floor which made it easier with luggage. Conveniently located on main shopping strip, so restaurants etc were very close.

Review 30：mattress needs to be replaced as it was uncomfortable to try & sleep on due to it bowing like a Banana from head to toe. Alarm clock in all rooms need to be switched off during cleaning so if room is vacant the alarm doesn't go off continually.
Review 31：I booked this because they advertised "pet friendly" but they informed me the dog (small and nonshedding) had to stay in the car! Also lucky we didnt bring the kids because the pool was empty so the accompanying photo is hardly honest.

Review 33：Not good value for money. Admitedly all motels in Swann Hill seem to be expensive. That said, if you have to stay in Swann Hill the Settlers is OK. If you do not have to go to Swann Hill, don't go - give the place a miss.

Review 38：Stayed 2 nights left motel at 8.30 am after first night, placed 'make up my room' sign on door, gone all day returned at 5 pm to clean up for dinner reservation at 6 pm. Room not made up and all the cleaning equipment still in room, no sign of staff. not happy!!
