Review 1：Bed was a pillow top with just right softness for us....not flat and hard. Room not fancy but clean with tiled bathroom also very clean plus coffee,fridge, microwave and flat screen tv.

Review 3：The best thing about the hotel was the staff. The kind woman who checked us in could not have been more accommodating, helpful and informative. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our room before we even saw it. Though the property is old the room was immaculate right down to the sparkling clean interior of the microwave. The bed was comfortable and the cooling adequate for a good night's sleep. This was a much better than expected budget hotel experience. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again ourselves if we ever find ourselves back in Kingman again.
Review 4：After our reservation, our need changed. With a call these needs were met with little extra charges. We had to arrive later than planned, but every thing was as agreed.

Review 13：Can't believe anyone found this place to be a decent place to stay. It was so nasty that my family chose to leave without showering! I couldn't sleep for worrying about what might be crawling on me in the bed. If it wasn't for the fact that we arrived there @ 2 a.m., we wouldn't have stayed at all.

Review 15：The lady at the front desk woke up for our late arrival and took care of us with no complaints. With such a late arrival, we slept late, but she let us stay a little late to prepare. We were surprised at how clean everything was, and wow!!! The location is RIGHT where you want to be to see downtown and Route 66 in Kingman. The sound of the train nearby was soothing and a nice surprise. Obviously, anyone who does not like that sound should stay away, but it is a smooth train and not a clanker. We will definitely be back.

Review 43：The desk was locked and the desk clerk, when she finally showed up, kept asking if I had any pets with me, even after I said I didn't. The ice machine was broken, and I unable to get ice. There was wi-fi, but it was too slow and I couldn't use it. The bed was hard and hurt my back--my room had two beds, so I used the other one, also hard, but it didn't hurt my back.
Review 44：The room was very clean and a good value for the money, although, as it turns out, Kingman has many motels that I drove past that advertised similar rates. The room was quiet and the cable worked well. There was plenty of hot water.
Review 45：The receptionist while checking in told me that we should be happy to get the room as we arrived a bit later than expected (?!?). She asked me for another credit card instead of my Amex as they have been having issues with this card provider, but they officially accept Amex (?!?). She did not give me the wifi password. When I came back to ask for it, she said that we might not need it (she is definitely a bad mindreader). The location is next to the train rail, trains pass every 15 min and horn. Better to avoid this place.

Review 47：Excellent value for money. Everything was clean, room was perfectly comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Family run, which is nice- much better value than a chain. No problems with Wifi or anything else. Train noise didn't bother us at all.

There must have beensome false reviews fed to Booking.com. This place should rate a 3 and nohigher and they should charge no more than 25/night.

Review 52：The shampoo/conditioner was in a mail order type sample package and was difficult to open, if you were already in the shower....and your hands were wet....and you didn't have a pair of scissors handy...

Ok, you can herethe railway line - it's close - but you know that before you book.If I woke in the night I just registered that it was a train and wentback to sleep - no big deal. We were asked if we were going to use theinternet and I suspect the room we had reflected that - upstairs isapparently better - I had no trouble logging on. The owner allowed us touse their address as the origin of a book I was sending within theStates (return address required on the outside of the parcel by theirpo) and agreed to email me in the uk if the book was returned to"sender" :-)
