Review 1：Breakfast was very good every morning. Facility is a short walk to anything in the downtown area which is good given the limited parking there. Early evening wine and cheese was a nice touch as well.

Review 3：The B & B was in a good area not far from the water and down town. The owner Marian was very kind and told us stories of the area and also of the House. The room was comfortable and had a balcony. The Wi-Fi worked well and the Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend this B & B.
Review 4：Our only complaint is our room was right next to the dining room and office. The walls were very thin and we could hear everyone coming and going. I am a very light sleeper- so it was more of an issue for me than my husband. It also made us a bit uncomfortable in our own room- worried that if we could hear them so well then they must be able to hear us.

Review 6：Booking.com said that breakfast was included with the stay, as the property is a bed an breakfast. I failed to read my confirmation email closely, however, and was a lil unpleasantly surprised that since it was "off season" there was no breakfast or maid service. There were plenty of places to grab breakfast, however, and Jordan's in particular was very good. There was also the odd ant or two, two-three in the bathroom, a couple crawling up the walls and one on the entrance table.
Review 7：It was centrally and conveniently located in Bar Harbor, so we never needed to drive our car around town. It was also very close to Acadia National Park. The room was very comfortable and it was very quiet. overall a very pleasant stay. And the owner did stay up past normal check in time when traffic made us a lil late for check-in.

Review 43：The Victorian flavor of the house is perfect, right down to the antiquesand decorations, our bathroom was updated and the little porch off theroom was a nice surprise, as was the gas fireplace! The owner held awine & cheese gathering before we left for dinner each night andentertained us with stories about the town and its history. Breakfastbuffet was incredible with so many choices, including gluten free items!The walk to town was so close too. We loved it!
Review 44：My husband and I really had a great time at Mira Monte and would for sure go back if we visit bar harbor again which I hope will be sooner than later. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was super yummy, and we really loved our room. The location was also great, we were close to the shops but also close to Acadia national park and close to other small towns on the island. What I also liked about Mira Monte was if you wanted you could mingle with other guests or you could have you privacy by going to one of the other rooms, it was the best of both worlds. We miss you Mira Monte!

There were many extra niceties like easy access to free bottled water, snack bars, etc. The bathroom had a black handtowel marked 'Make-Up' so you could use it without ruining a lighter towel. Review 52：Our 3rd stay at Mira Monte, so we clearly like a lot of things. Lovely, well-kept, old home a 5 minute walk from town center; always interesting guests to talk with at breakfast and at late afternoon wine and cheese; and , a charming, interesting owner who makes you feel at home.
