Review 1：Didn't like the back door. We called for Chinese take out and the delivery guy came to the back. Noisy in the back in the mornings because of walk way behind building.
Review 2：Convenient. Right off I 95. We were able to check in early. Room as a whole was nice. Price was great. Bathroom needed updating, shower was hard to turn on and the walls were cracking by each end of shower rod. Floor at base of tub was not properly cleaned.
Review 3：No staff on for breakfast on Monday, inadequate map of the city and no bus timetable available.
Review 4：Good service from very helpful staff, travelling by Greyhound the location was good, five minutes walk to the bus.
Review 5：I stayed at this property for six weeks for a project. Not only did I not receive any perks for my repeat business, I experienced three incidents where the front desk 're-keyed my room for a different guest while I was in the room,once at 10:30pm while I was asleep. When I brought this to the attention of management they only offered a slim "sorry" extremely inept staff and poor customer service.
Review 6：Most of the hotel is undergoing refurbishing. The fitness roomdoesn't seem to be functional.. Which did not impact me.The hall phones don't work, normally not a problem, however, the desk clerk wrote 357 for my room number, which DOES NOT EXIST. Very frustrating to have to dig out my phone while carrying luggage etc. to find the number to call the front desk.

Review 10：I was in room 201. My kids were in the adjoining room 203. I woke up to bed bug bites all over my body. The clerk stated that "bed bugs bites don't look like that" we went back to the room and pulled the mattress and bed skirt to find at least 7 live bed bugs running around. I took pictures and video. I will never go back. I went to the doctor because my skin swelled and was hard at every bite spot. I'm so unhappy and I'm in pain. My money should be fully refunded.

Review 20：My toilet overflowed; however, the staff took care of it right away and resolved the issue. The hotel is near the highway. You can hear traffic all night, but somehow you get used to it, and you sleep just fine.

Review 37：I liked nothing sbout this hotel. A rating of 2.5 generated by the review is too high. The parking lots was in disrepair. The pool was cloudy. The bathroom was in dire need of updating and there was mold in the corners of the shower. Stains on the towels and bed linens The carpeting was filthy, stained. We kept our shoes on the whole time. The hallways were worse so filthy you couldn't see the pattern on the carpet and it wasnt even swept. There was no where to walk the dog in at this pet friendly hotel that "may" and definelty will charge you a $25 fee. When I voiced my concerns to staff all the suggested was the 800 number for complaints. Thus was lusted at a 3 star hotel eith a good 7 rating.
Review 38：There was a very large, very loud party in the space next to the front desk. Some of that spilled out into the parking lot outside my room later. Management was good about getting that calmed down quickly.

Review 76：There is no access to the rooms through the main lobby. Access is from the parking deck and requires swiping the room key to enter the heated area of the hotel. My room key didn't work and I had to go back to the main lobby to get help. The parking deck was rather deserted and didn't feel secure.
Review 77：The Clarion is a solid 3 star hotel in its amenities. The room was nicely appointed with a microwave and mini fridge that had a separate freezer. It was clean and comfortable. The location is not attractive but it is very convenient.

We expect our safety to be paramount at any Hotel/Motel. Had to call Police protection to escort is out and make sure we were safe. Then we were finding another Hotel in the middle of the night.

Bathroom was good, flat screen TV room had modern furniture. But was dusty.

I felt like I was back in college, trying to sleep on a Friday night with drunk people yelling in the dorm hallway. The parking was not sufficient, by 9pm at night most of the parking was taken. I probably paid a little more than the room was worth to be honest. The restaurant and bar close too early. I wasn't waited on at the bar for a few minutes upon seating so I left.
Review 96：It was a place to rest in. It was close to Interstate 95, close to night life entertainment. They had a pool but I didn't use it. They have a restaurant and bar inside the hotel.
Review 97：Room was in bad shape! Stained walls, stained bedding, someone else's hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. The grounds where depressing, weeds un-edged beds with no mulch, in less you count the hundreds of cigarette butts right outside my door. Lots of people hanging outside with beer and cell phones until they moved the party into the room next to me.... finally attempted sleep around 2AM to get up at 7AM. not happy!!! Dirty windows. trim and pealing paint outside...... nice

Review 99：After we arrived, our key would not open the exterior doors to enter the hotel. I jumped in the shower after a long drive, only to discover there were NO towels in the room. The area was very run-down. The pics you see on the site are clearly enhanced.

Review 121：Very affordable for just using the room for sleeping and showering. Bathroom was very clean, I didn't feel unsafe at all, there were a lot of older couples there for a dog show I believe, pet friendly. Lobby area was nice and they had a restaurant called Nacho Mama, which I thought was hilarious. I think you get a 10% discount for there buffet if you stay there but I would go explore the awesome restaurants in Richmond! Nice stay, verrrryyy cheap compared to other hotels around the area.
