Review 1：Water left running in adjacent room all night. Coffee from machine at breakfast barely drinkable. Suggest a new one which grinds coffee not uses instant coffee.

Review 3：Had a perfect stay in this hotel. From the moment we stepped foot through the door we were greeted pleasantly by a lovely lady. Throughout our stay the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was immaculate and the facilities perfect. Would probably rent a car next time to explore the area better.

Review 16：The bed was comfortable and location good for the beach, which was more quiet than some for this time of year. Breakfast was good. The manager was kind in allowing us to have breakfast having arrived late and with the under staff not being rather rigid about taking everything away...

Review 19：Having a spa type service at hotel is a nice option. I purchased a package with massage, facial and manicure (paid extra for shellac polish). Facial was great, massage was good but could have used more pressure but unfortunately manicure was probably the worst I've ever had. A rough nail file was used to expose shellac top coat for removal process which is normal but also filed skin on almost every finger....looked like I had hangnails. Didn't cut, shape or file nails...remembered after nail polish had been applied...I didn't have time or patience to have polish removed to have nails filed. Didn't have shellac top coat so called their manager who okayed to use base coat as top coat. Finish was horrible...called again and had someone deliver top coat. End result was still pretty bad as the polish job itself was very poor...not neat. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Sweet girl but needs more practice and/or training on nails.For a smaller hotel the breakfast buffet should include option to make eggs any style.I celebrated my birthday on the second day after I checked in which the hotel was aware of. I wasn't expecting anything free but expected at least an acknowledgment from the hotel. I stayed in lower and higher rated hotels and have always at least been acknowledged by the hotel on my birthday if it occurs during my stay.Paying for use of gym doesn't seem appropriate. Received one complimentary coupon per person to use towards gym or sauna and then it's $10 EUR/day.I went to hotel restaurant for dinner once and was disappointed with the food quality and taste. Beer is used in all the recipes...which didn't seem to hit any marks. I ordered what was the equivalent to battered cod with grilled vegetables instead of fries. The cod tasted stale and not cooked right. The vegetables were great but received the tiniest portion. Unsatisfied I decided to order dessert...was supposed to be a strawberry crepe...

Loud music could be heard every night from a nearby bar/discotheque. Breakfast room too small. Breakfast of poor quality. Small swimming pool looking like a tank of water. Too many bees all around the hotel making almost impossible to eat outside. Pillows extremely uncomfortable. Stayed 12 nights.

Review 27：The pictures on the website were not indicative of the room. The room price was expensive for what can only be described as a basic room. No tea and coffee facilities. Twin beds even though we specified a double. Reception staff were loathed to help. The other staff were very nice. The sunset/sunrise rooms are a joke and any view is overshadowed by poor surroundings. I'm sure the shalets or suites are somewhat better. Advice for travellers! Book a standard room as that's what you'll get regardless. Probably would not re visit.

Review 37：Quaint hotel, located in Almancil. Close proximity to shopping, beaches and golf courses. I have fallen in love with the country and it's beauty and the people are phenomenal. The hospitality and generosity of the people is above reproach!!! I will be going back someday.

Have stayed next door at Conrad a couple of times and although not on same scale I have to say the service was better!! We have a villa in Quinta and will recommend overspill friends stay here!!

Review 44：My reason for leaving early was that I was expecting a kitchen in my room. I was confused. Last time in this area I had stayed at Vilar Do Golf where I had a kitchen. Perhaps the golf in the name led me to this expectation, or was it the wine? I can only recommend Magnolia Golf and Wellness for short stays as the rooms are small. I was in a front ground floor room where I felt claustrophobic. There is a fence directly outside ( 6' away) to shield the traffic. No privacy on the small deck which also houses the AC unit. King size bed was too soft for me. Coffee at breakfast was terrible. Machine coffee by Nestle. Hard to find. Does not show up on GPS. Too new?? Suggestion. Use The Conrad Algarve as a destination. With the Conrad on your Right, proceed about 1 mile down that road and you'll find The Magnolia on your right.

Review 45：A new hotel, rooms are tastefully designed. Excellent shower in a small but beautiful marble bathroom, free Wi-Fi with variable connection speed from excellent to poor, good breakfast in a spacious dining room over looking the pool. Breakfast is included. I booked for 7 nights,but only stayed one. They were entitled to charge me for my entire reservation i.e. 7 nights, however they choose the high road and only charged me the one night. Greatly appreciated, especially as its becoming more and more unusual.
