Reviews for Hotel Rosario Lago Titicaca

Review 1:Staff were really helpful, Great Property and location, Great Internet access. We were very happy to extend our stay a few days to enjoy this bit of luxury during our Trip.

Review 2:Warm water only in the morning (shower). We had to call a touragency from the hotel and the hotel wanted to charge this 1 minute call. This is ridculous considering the prize of the hotel.

Review 3:Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, in the middle of Copacabana

Review 4:Resturant staff seemed to be overwhelmed at times with only a few guests dining. A little disorganised, but always s very polite and friendly n

Review 5:Rooms were spectacular very comfortable , roomy with amazing views. Bed was H U G E. !!! ? Breakfast spread was great.

Review 6:We asked three times by emaik before we arrived for a room with one king size bed instead they gave us a room with two queen beds.

Review 7:The hotel decoration amazing! Beautiful rooms.

Review 8:During breakfast, they offered additional eggs to the other guests, but did not offer us any. Was it because we were the only colored guests. Im not really sure.

Review 9:The view of Lake Titicaca from the room is awesome. The room was was ncely dcorated, and was very comfortable.

Review 10:The room are decorated with beautiful local handmade products. They are spacious and have a little balcony to enjoy a stunning view of the lake, especially at sunset. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was definitely a good value for money.

Review 11:For the price of the room, maybe complementry water in the room would be a good idea.

Review 12:Location is fantastic, the room decor is wonderful, and the views are incredible.

Review 13:We booked this hotel because it said it had an open fire and games room... But it doesn't... False advertising.

Review 14:Beautiful hotel decorated luxuriously and tastefully. IT IS COSY AND WARM! We desperately needed to relax and Coapcabana is a very dirty place so this was an absolute haven with soft fluffy towels, nice toiletries, warm tea all day, rooms with tables to read at and enjoy the view across your balcony... Oh and a bath!! Loved it.

Review 15:Poorly trained staff; cold water for bath (heater is not consistent); no good tours available; no city maps; the city really lacks infrastructure; frequent power outages

Review 16:Large room; heater; good restaurant although expensive

Review 17:The bathroom needs help. The sink drains so slowly. The shower head is a terrible blaster spray. The bed was supposed to be a queen- more like a double. Though it was comfy enough. Breakfast was so-so. They will make you eggs, but they weren't very good. Would be great if they had a dinner entree that was vegetarian and gluten free!

Review 18:For Copacabana, this is a good value. Definitely a cut above. But everything out there is on the low end of the spectrum. Generally clean and nice and good value at only $100US per night. The space heater was critical at night (cold!).

Review 19:We just loved it

Review 20:Very helpfull and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Rooms are great, with view over the lake and a free sunset. Very spacious, big windows, little balcony.

Review 21:Not a criticism, just a suggestion - some sun lounges outside would be great as the wrought iron chairs aren't very comfortable after a while.

Review 22:As a full time back packer that rarely indulges in hotels of this type, I found this hotel to be prefect for the long awaited relax I needed. The rooms are enormous, with fabulous views of the lake. The water is hot and the bath actually big enough for a long soak. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Review 23:This is the only place I will ever stay at when visiting through Copacabana - the hotel is modern (note, there are mainly hostels in this sleepy lakeside town). The rooms are clean, there was always hot water and all the rooms come with heaters. A huge added bonus is that the breakfast buffet is delicious and fresh (an assortment of pastries that change daily, pancakes or french toast, fresh cheeses, cereal options, eggs to order, coffee/tea/juices, fresh fruit). Also, the hotel restaurant has excellent food. The staff - including those in the dining area, are all very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located a short walk from the square and only up the street from the shore of Titicaca so it is very close. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely hotel!

Review 24:A few minor nitpicks: The TV had few English channels if any. Occasionally, the front desk staff was hanging out with kitchen staffers. Showers didn't always work immediately. For lunch/dinner, kitchen was overpriced (although one could just walk down the street to the foodstands on the beach)

Review 25:The decor and theme were great and it was a short walk to the beach as well as to the cathedral side of town. The rooms were beautiful, they had free tea, the breakfast was especially good. Wi-fi worked better than advertised, and they had a nice viewing balcony and courtyard to relax outside. They also lent out guidebooks.

Review 26:The wifi is not very good and we thought the breakfast could have been a lot better. Especially the variety of bread, cheese and cold meats.

Review 27:The hotel is decorated in a traditional yet modern way. All rooms have fantastic views. The room is spacious and extremely comfortable. The hotel really should be 5 star for these reasons. I think it may be rated lower as the are no lifts, which wasn't a problem for us. The rooms do not have a fridge and there is no pool, again not an issue for us.

Review 28:Access to Wifi was non-existent; we gave up. The desk staff was nice, but not as friendly as we had in other places during our travels.

Review 29:This hotel was amazing! Location on the lake was perfect to walk out and get on a boat to Isla del Sol. We had two rooms and each was decorated beautifully, the beds were super comfy, and the bathrooms had glass shower doors and you could bathe with a view of the lake. It felt so luxurious. The patio and sitting area gave us space to relax and enjoy the view. The breakfast buffet was incredible; best we had on our 3-week trip.

Review 30:- Staff and guest treatment; ( examples: hotel was empty and they avoided to give us a room with a nice view; they woke up us at 8ham suggesting breakfest at the bedroom cause was cold at the restaurant- lye, just to finish buffet earlier;tried to charge couple of dollars more than was suposed to be) - Shower was really, really bad;

Review 31:Bed and room

Review 32:Nothing!

Review 33:This is a beautiful place to stay. Very tastefully designed with super friendly staff. The restaurant was impeccable and the service was top notch.

Review 34:-Customer service -Breakfast (was Ok, but below average from the other hotels we stayed in Perú and Bolivia)

Review 35:-Nice view from room -Location -Decoration -Bed quality

Review 36:We had 2 problems with the front desk. There was a strike on the road betweeb Copacabana and La Paz . The forn desk updated on the strike and said no buses but he can arrange a taxi till the border. Luckily we went to the city and found a regular bus operator that took us the whole way. 2nd tried to charge us more than was stated in the booking (although the order was for 3 people and at the end, one was still stuckedin Peru). After some discussions he gave us the original price.

Review 37:Great location. WE had the view of lake Titicaca from our window, one of the best views in the world. The room was spacious with a separated sitting area and big bathroom. We tried there breakfest, lunch and dinner, all of them were great.

Review 38:To be more flexibe at the A little expensive the rate per night. The time of the check out "sunday". Too short the time of the breakfast "sunday". A little high the prices of the food.

Review 39:Food good, but to much sophisticated.

Review 40:No hot water on arrival and in the morning. Wifi was useless too Not worth the $106 for a double room

Review 41:Great location, great room, great view, great restaurant

Review 42:Wi fi was pretty slow, but you won't find anything better in Copacabana

Review 43:The hotel is just great, clean, modern and with a great view on Titicaca lake (even though Copacabana is quite ugly). I also warmly recommend their restaurant, the food incredibly good.

Review 44:The hotel restaurant advertised that dinner is until 10pm, we arrived just past 9pm and were told that the chef already went home so all we could order was soup. When we received our soup, we noticed that the quinoa creamy soup was actually not creamy at all but using the same stock as the other soup we ordered. Obviously this was just a short cut and there was no explanation from the waiter. Disappointing and definitely not worth 40 bolivianos for quick soup.

Review 45:We stayed here as a splurge after 3 days at the Salar de Uyuni to relax and the rooms definitely cater for that. Lovely views of the lake, big balconies and clean, well furnished rooms.

Review 46:The rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean. The views were gorgeous. But the best partway the amazing staff. My daughter wasn't feeling well and they made here spaghetti for dinner and brought it to our room. And in the morning made her a special pot of tea to help her stomach. The entire staff was so incredible!

Review 47:Pillows were too fat.

Review 48:The head waiter was superb, as was the gentleman who seemed to be at the reception desk 24 hours per day. Both were available, helpful and knowledgeable.

Review 49:Bath water is sometimes not hot enough in mid-night.

Review 50:The sea view is great with sunset. The room is very comfortable and well decorated. The food in the restaurant are great too! Feel very relaxed here.

Review 57:Constant power outage, the hotel doesnot have a generate. While there is no power, no hot shower water:(

Review 59:Cold water for bath; frequent power outages; bad quality TV imaging

The porter even take our luggage to the bus station for our next trip and we tip him 15 bolivianos .

Review 106:Poor quality of Wi-Fi and television service

Review 107:Tasteful decoration in rooms and public spaces. View from room. Excellent menu and service in restaurant. Friendly and professional staff.

Review 108:It would have been nice to have had a bar or coffee shop area as the restaurant shuts at 10.00 and there isn't much to do after that time!

Review 109:Location was good, staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and interestingly decorated. Views were excellent. I would certainly come again!

Review 110:We loved our stay at Rosario! The rooms were beautiful, beds comfortable and the views were spectacular. The bath was luxury after a long week of trekking! The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The restaurant served delicious food at very reasonable prices and the breakfast included in the stay was amazing.

Review 116:The dining room was being painted, and the staff had long lunches each each day in the dining room. The staff were helpful but only after prompting. The location at the base of a steep hill is inconvenient.

Review 118:It is two blocks far from the main street and the entrance of the hotel is located in the upper side of the street. I wish there was an entrance from the lower part of the terrain.

Review 120:N/A

Review 121:The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. The room was big and luxurious overlooking the Lake. We got the actual room we requested. The restaurant food was excellent.

Review 122:Traveling from Cusco to La Paz, a stay at Copacabana comes natural. The hotel is easily accessible, on the beach of Lago Titicaca, close to the place where the boats leave to the islands in the Lago. The reception was very helpful in organizing WiFi, the room was very nice and agreeable, with a great view, the restaurant is recommendable. Parking is ample and safe.
