Review 1：Old property, has not been kept up very well. Staff acted distant, not at all welcoming. Lots of construction around and inside the property. Poor water pressure, continental breakfast was terrible.

Review 3：old and there was a smell about the room. Not bad just strong. Couch was very uncomfortable and TV needed to be higher when watching in bed.

Review 5：We chose not to even stay for the night, it was so filthy and run down. Had we been paying the normal room rate of $45 I wouldn't have been as put off. But when I am paying $145 because of the week end that we traveled, it was not acceptable!!!

Review 6：The room was very outdated and musty smelling. The AC was off when we got to the room and it took a very long time to cool down. We paid $196 for 2 nights but it looked more like a $25 a night motel.

Review 8：Roaches, roaches and more roaches, Unclean, scary stuff on walls, I had to go buy a can of raid to get through the night, as they crawled up into the bed. No baby seat at breakfast, minuscule choices.

Review 10：The room was dirty, The halls where dirty. The AC wasn't working properly. We stayed for two nights and they didn't even go clean them. Only reason that we booked it there was because that was the only place available will never book there again.

Review 11：Much of the facility was very run down and dirty. Lots of odors throughout halls and AC was just fair. All breakfast was gone by 8am so we had to go to a local restaurant. Somewhat overpriced for what we got.

Review 13：We checked in Thursday July 2, 2015 and paid $55.00 for that night then on Friday the rate went up to $188.00 for same room. I understand it was a Holiday weekend and maybe double the price but to triple and not provide blow dryer, or coffee maker, or small fridge. Very disappointed will never stay at Econ lodge Again.

Review 14：This is an old hotel/motel. needs updating - beds were not too comfortable; pillows flat. No coffee pot in room. TV over 15 years old or older. A/C works well. Bath had lots of hot water, but everything felt "old/worn out".

Review 15：Staff was very good - very helpful - willing to shed news of storms/flooding in area/etc. Went on Memorial Day weekend - storms/flooding in area.

Review 16：The room smelled so bad we got odor neutralizer and that didn't even help!. We spent an uncomfortable night and because of that we made up a story and left the next day even though we had booked for two nights.

Review 17：Neat appearance from the street. Patriotic pool area in a pleasant setting I got to have my picture taken with Ton from Storage Wars! The front desk attendants were nice.

Review 18：From the outside the building looked fine. Going to my room, there was the vile smell of urine in the hallway. Human or dog remained undetermined. The doors to the rooms had been touched-up with mismatched paint, and I thought the carpeting and hallways looked very dirty. I envisioned entering a slum tenement as a comparison.

Review 21：We were there for eight nights, the room was only cleaned four times. The breakfast was very poor had to ask for water. The plugins in the bathroom wouldn't hold the plug, had to tape it in. The staff hard to understand. There was not any kind of TV guide. The carpet stained and didn't look clean at all.

Review 25：We had a room with a pullout for our son but there were no sheets, blankets or pillows. When we asked for them that night the girl was really rude and hung up on me. When we went to pick the items up, all they gave us were two pillows saying they had nothing else. My son had to go sleep at our friends for the night. When I nicrly comianed the next morning, I was told they don't keep extra blankets and they weren't going to do anything to compensate the fact that I paid for a room for three but we couldn't use the extra bed. I expected an apology at least but instead I was dismissed while the lady turned from my conversation & handled her business as if I wasn't there waiting for her reply. Very frustrating situation and we won't be back ever. We travel to kerrville once a month to see our grandkids. This was the first and last time we will stay at the econo lodge.

Review 28：It was a last minute trip to buy a canoe, but ended up ok the bed was stiff but heater worked awesome it was really cold outside breakfast was good. And friendly staff.

Review 29：The room could have been cleaner, as we found potato chips andsomeone's hat as we pulled out the sofa bed for our son, but thebuilding originally seemed well-built, and the minimal staff werehelpful. Can't beat the price.

Review 33：It was a beautiful hotel, about 30 years ago. Wish it was kept up better, but it was clean and easy to access. Comfortable and large room, adequate breakfast.

Review 34：The sink was busted and looked like they slapped puddy in sink. Shower did not have strong spray and had to ask for toilet paper there was only like 5 sheets on roll. Over all very scary surroundings. We would have felt safer at bates motel. Will make sure to pick a better place next time we are in town.

Review 37：There were no trash cans in the room or bathroom. The air conditioner didn't cool the room down. Bed wasn't comfortable, the w as ter pressure was very low had to stand close to the shower head and kept hitting handicap handle with elbow.

Review 44：The Inn is an older one which the new owners are working hard to update ! Our room was downstairs as we asked for and was easy access to our car Parked out side ! The Room it self was very clean and neat ! We asked for extra pillows and a blanket and they were delivered ASAP and all the linens smelt clean and fresh! The Mattress was bit old and not the most comfortable but I am Spoiled at home with the best bed because of my back, Hubby didnt have a complaint ! The owners have only had the place 4 weeks, so I see this place Continuing to have good service and a great rate! Tell them Victoria Sent You!

Review 48：Exactly that. The new owners have a little to change. Like stating old rate and restaurant on sign. Room much higher but I knew it already but maybe someone driving up would not.

Review 49：Was supposed to be a 3 star establishment, but it had no microwave, fridge, hairdryer, shower head was disgusting, the couch was worn out, soiled/looked like it was picked up off the side of the road, ceiling tiles were hanging and water stained, ice machine had a moldy bucket beside it, loose wires hanging, carpet was stained, walls were several shades of colors that were poorly painted over, no alarm clock, burn holes in the blankets, had to request fresh towels and room service. We only stayed here because another hotel we had booked told us we weren't in the system. Worst hotel/motel I've ever been in, the rating is a lie.
