Review 1：The first room we checked into was supposed to be non smoking but smelt really bad like cigarette smoke and then had to change rooms then the second room had a strong smell of bleach. There was no shampoo, conditioner or lotion for room, I thought that was standard. Also no coffee pot. Very disappointed, will not stay there again.

Review 2：I was passing through just visiting a friend. Prior to Lodi, I had stayed at motle 6 San Diego. The Motel 6 in San Diego was awful so to walk into Motel 6 Lodi with a nice big room, Free Wi-Fi, Nice pool and Laundry facilities that weren't essentially outside on the street was brilliant. Along with that, the staff were really nice and helpful with any questions we had.

Review 3：No shampoo/conditioner in room. Really, how much can that possibly cost to provide? That is standard on all hotels these days, especially a national chain.

Review 5：No coffee pot or coffee in room. Went to the lobby to get coffee and machine was broken. Had to drive 5 miles to Starbucks to get coffee. Guy working the evening desk was not friendly. He didn't care. Not sure I would stay again. Coffee doesn't cost that much.

Review 19：The hot tub broke right before we got there and they do not have a continental breakfast. So for $10 less we could have stayed at the economy inn who has a continental breakfast and pool.

Review 24：Unfortunately we were in town for a funeral, so we were trying to find the best room for the best value since we were on a budget. This was perfect! The rooms have been recently remodeled and had everything we needed, even hardwood floors! We were even able to get a wine key from the front desk on our last night! We were thoroughly impressed with the rooms and the customer service.

Review 25：Motel 6 is remdeling the rooms. They are terrible! Cheesy laminate floors, cheesy plastic bedspreads and what is the WORST there are plans to remodel the Office/Lobby so it will look like every other cheap motel6. NOT happy. Love the motel and the staff hate the remodel! You will no longer be getting our business if this happens.

Review 26：The motel had a great homey, personal feel. The Office is wonderful very classic with french doors beautiful wainscot trim and wallpaper gives it a 4 star motel feel. I have been staying there every month for a year mainly because the motel has the look and feel of a resort.

Review 27：That I was going to be charged extra for having my boyfriend there and the room was a queen sized bed ... I've never before been charged more for having a guest .... He refunded me , but thought it was weird ..

Review 29：The only negative was the air conditioner leaked. It had just been serviced and the service company had replaced it at the wrong angle. The staff was helpful provided towels and wanted to move us. Since it wasn't an issue as yo our stay we declined. Other than that it was great, will be staying ther again.

Review 33：I am 82 and blind in one eye, the sun was so bright in the morning I could hardly see. We had our room changed in less than 1/2 hr, they even offered to move our luggage, clothes, etc.

Review 34：the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the big back tv was green and purple on the screen, the walls are paper thin and people were loud and varying on conversations until 1130 pm in the hallway and then you could hear them talking through the walls in their room, freeway noise was loud, and there was only one small bar of soap as toiletries in the room, no type of continental breakfast or snack available.

Review 84：When we first arrived there was an almost overpowering fragrance (perhaps from cleaning products or air freshener or something) so we had to open the windows and turn the AC on full blast to get rid of it. It wasn't unpleasant, just too strong and lucky for us we don't have allergies to fragrances.

Review 91：There was an inch thick layer of frozen water stuck to the bottom of the freezer compartment upon our arrival. That should be checked before any guest occupies the room. Also, inconsiderate guests prior to us had stuffed empty water bottles and trash behind the television cabinet. Ordinarily, no one would see that, but when we moved a chair we observed that and a lot of accumulated dirt and dust. That area should be checked and cleaned regularly.

Review 92：Excellent value. Everything we needed for our week long stay including a microwave and bigger refrigerator. Above average room decor for a Motel 6. Staff was very polite, friendly, and efficient. Grounds well maintained and attractive. Everyone works hard to keep this establishment in top shape. Would not hesitate to recommend it. Review 93：The room did have some cat urine odor and stains on carpet. Looked like they were in the process of updating some rooms. Noise from freeway, ear plugs took care of that.

Checked to see if we were comfortable and when we said the room had highway nosie they offered to change our room right away. Air Condition worked so good that most of the noise was blocked. Staff made sure guests came first and non-paying young (student) adults were asked to leave. Staff was on top of everything. Best Motel 6 we have ever stayed in.

Review 107：I called on route to see what time the pool was open until. I was told 10 pm. It was 100 degrees at 9 oclock when we arrived. We got to the pool at 9:53 pm planning to just get wet. The owner told us the pool was closed for the night. The lobby clock, visible from the pool, said 9:53 pm. No explanation was given. This spoiled our stay at Motel 6. See additional comment below.

Review 108：i liked everything about Motel 6 in Lodi. It was clean, cool, comfortable, looked nice, exceptional value. I had only one complaint.

Review 117：I have now stayed at this Motel 6 twice, for 4 nights in total. This wasmy first experience of a 2-star hotel, and my husband was horrified thatI had booked this one and wanted me to cancel the bookings and book morenights at another place I stayed that was more than twice the price pernight of this one. When I arrived, the staff member at the front deskwas incredibly friendly and nice, which makes such a difference to theexperience, I find. Not having stayed at this sort of place before, Ihad not brought any shampoo, conditioner or body wash with me. They donot provide those things here (but the bars of soap actually smelt quitenice!). Another negative was that the pool was not open. I think theywere doing repairs on it. It is also true, as another reviewer said,that the fridges in the rooms make noise, and nearby trains sound theirwarning horn in the night. However, the same was true in the more-than-double-the-price hotel I stayed in too, and in the expensive hotel there was vastlymore people noise than there was at this Motel 6. (I discovered thatturning the fridge down to the lowest setting (highest temperature)stopped it making noise, and by the end of my 8 days in this area I hadgot used to the train horn noises and was no longer disturbed by them.What some guests may consider a negative, I found to be fine: there isno coffee in the room. They serve coffee in the lobby from 5am. Again,comparing this with the expensive hotel I stayed in also on this trip,where they did of course have coffee and tea in the rooms, all I can sayis, the coffee in hotel rooms is often so dire (and was at the localexpensive hotel too) that given a choice between really endless verydrinkable coffee in the lobby versus one cup of totally undrinkablecoffee in the room, I'd rather the coffee in the lobby!Another positive is that the beds here were amazingly comfortable, and more comfortable than the bed I had in the expensive hotel.
