Review 1：The view of the hotel is amazing! Location is ideal for visiting Uchisar, in walking distance to all attractions. Both the room and the shared areas of the hotel are superb clean. In general the hotel is very nicely decorated. We stayed at room #106, where we had a lovely living room with a chimney and a terrace with a wonderful view. The staff is caring, friendly and helpful all the time. The service and food is very good quality and it is enriched with nice compliments most of the time! Taskonaklar is highly recommended!

Review 4：The Hotel is awarded for its cleaniness and they deserve it. However, I only noticed the Terace floor outside our room was never cleaned and wish I informed them to wipe the floor as the hotle management are keen for feedback and they take immidiate action.

Review 6：Amazing view and relaxing place to stay. Nice to be in Uchisar rather than Goreme and we loved the garden with its loungers. The set menu dinner was incredibly good!

Review 7：Be ready to climb up and down some stairs to reach to your room. Not to panic, but till.... Breakfast is a bit boring, it is nice, but the same food every day.

Review 9：There were a few times that the internet seemed to get flaky, but resetting the DSL router in the room usually fixed it. It was reliable 90% of the time that we used it, and I think the other 10% of the time we had problems were more an issue with the telecom company due to the remote location of Uchisar. Otherwise, there wasn't anything else we didn't like.

Review 10：The location is great, staff are wonderful and our room was very artfully decorated with beautiful Turkish rugs and antiques. We opted for the Royal Suite, and the balcony was the nicest balcony I've ever had in a hotel. It's got more space than the room with lounge chairs for sunbathing, sitting chairs, coffee table, hot tub, and more. We wanted to do more hiking, but the luxury of the room often kept us closer to the hotel. Uchisar is a wonderful little town full of great restaurants and super friendly people who are always happy to strike up a conversation, and quick to help you if you're walking around looking confused. I would recommend renting a car and driving around to the various sights in the region. Driving a car in Cappadocia couldn't be easier, and you'll really appreciate the freedom that having your own car gives you. It's also very cheap from the Kayseri airport. We searched through hundreds of cave hotels in the area before choosing Taskonaklar, and we're glad that we chose it. Everything was just perfect, and we wished we had stayed longer than the brief 4 nights that we stayed. Choose Taskonaklar and you'll be thrilled that you did!

Review 15：We had a great stay at Taşkonaklar. The location is great. The breakfast was super with fresh made pastries and a nice spread. The staff was very proactive. We had a beautiful room with an amazing view and a nice terrace.

Review 16：Initially I was upset because there was a mix up in our reservation. I booked the Royal Suite through booking.com but also reached out to the hotel directly to ask about the Deluxe Rooms which were about to have private hot tubs on deck installed. Although I said I do not want the Deluxe room and will keep my booking.com reservation for the Royal Suite it was misunderstood and we ended up with the Deluxe room for our honeymoon even though we made no changes on booking.com. The property acknowledged the mistake and gave us a discount which was nice of them. The rest of the stay was fine.

Review 17：Great breakfast buffet, staff was very friendly, helpful and welcomed us with a special treat for our honeymoon, beautiful view, deck with hot tub was perfect for honeymoon, you can walk down Pigeon Valley into Goreme in 30-45 min depending on how fast you hike or how quickly you can find the trail, staff made reservations for restaurants for us which is helpful as some places fill up in Goreme

Review 19：Everything. My trip to Cappadocia was a birthday treat and Taşkonaklar helped to make it special. The staff was extremely helpful day and night. I could sit on the lawn or restaurant patio all day looking at the cave homes and fairy chimneys and ponder the mysteries of people carving homes and churches out of rock.

Review 21：The tour we booked with the hotel was a little expensive and it was a dual language tour. By the afternoon we could see that the guide was exhausted and the English version of explanations were greatly shortened.

Review 22：Lovely terrace looking onto pigeon valley. The place sits nicely within it's surrounding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the grape juice we were offered on arrival. We were upgraded to a really nice room with a large cave shower. Dinner of tomato soup and fresh trout was beautiful.

Review 35：Exceptional facility in a quiet and beautiful town in Cappadocia. The buildings are architecturally beautiful, and the rooms both beautiful and comfortable. The office staff is extremely helpful.

Review 36：The staff is exceptional and really makes sure you are looked after from the moment you arrive until you leave. They do not have a restaurant for dinner, but will prepare a home cooked meal if you request it- this is a definite must. The team takes care if your every need from booking transportation, to dinner to tour arrangements. We had a fabulous time and the views in the garden are exceptional. Tip: The town of Uchisar is a lot less touristy than the neighbor town of Goreme. If you are looking for a romantic, quiet getaway with unpretentious luxury service then this is the place to go.
