Reviews for Woolley's Classic Suites Denver Airport

Review 1:Due to weather we stayed in and dined at the hotel restaurant. Service was horrible. It took over an hour just to be served two burgers and then we were over charged for something we did not receive! and no one could straighten out the bill. I ended up having to call my credit card company! Next night we walked in the snow just too eat outside the hotel!!! Horrible experience.

Review 2:The weather was very bad. It was nice being close to the airport in the early morning.

Review 3:My experience was great but I do have a suggestion. I took a bath (tub size is so generous I couldn't resist) and as someone who is getting on in age, it would be most helpful to have some grab bars to help get up and out of the tub due to its immense size.

Review 4:The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the room was nice, quiet and clean. Bathroom was unbelievably spacious with the most inviting bathtub! Absolutely loved your hotel!

Review 5:Everything was perfect. From the free shuttle to the friendly check-in and finally to the enormous room. Best of all was the soaking tub. Free cook to order omlet in the morning was the icing on the cake. Oh, and did I mention the great rate? What's not to like?

Review 6:The room was HUGE and beautifully appointed in a French Chateau style. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in with lovely linens. The atrium adds an ambiance of a resort. Breakfast was far above the usual, with made to order omelettes, and a full buffet. I will definitely make a point to stay here again when flying in and out of DIA.

Review 7:Stay was cut short :(

Review 8:The staff are AMAZING!!! -- literally made me feel like a Princess! The saline pool is heavenly. The atrium is unbelievably wonderful. The overall facility is better than the best!

Review 9:Airport shuttle drivers were excellent. On arrival we were offered a cold drink (very welcome after a 20+ hour journey). Next day driver took us straight to car rental so making things very easy.

Review 10:The fact that we couldn't stay longer.

Review 11:Everything about this hotel is amazing. Front desk staff were always courteous and went above and beyond. Breakfast was the BEST made to order omelettes, pancakes, waffles, toast, bagels, muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, granola, yogurt, etc. The atrium was magical. The beds were the MOST comfortable. Both of us exclaimed how we had no cricks, aches or pains waking up in the morning. The room was immaculate. Free laundry facilities including the soap, fabric softener and dryer sheets!!! I will be back.

Review 12:The staff was very helpful and friendly. The happy hour was a surprising perk and we had a great dinner of Caesar salad with salmon cooked to perfection. We often stay at a hotel near an airport before flying out and this was the best ever!

Review 13:Absolutely nothing!!!

Review 14:Check-in was a breeze; our room was clean and spacious; the bed was supportive, and the pillows fluffy; the elegant, black marble bathroom was the largest I have ever had in a hotel; and the wonderful buffet in the morning was an unexpected surprise, complete with white linen tablecloths and napkins! This is a warm buffet with scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, a fresh fruit bar with yogurt, and a coffee and juice bar! This hotel is a fabulous value!!!!!!!! The staff was extremely accommodating, and there is a shuttle to the airport every half-hour.

Review 15:We arrived at 1pm and inquired about an early check-in. I was told by staff that they would let us know IF a room came open early. At 2:30 I asked again and was told they wouldn't know until check in time (3pm) what was available. Whatever! We sat in the bar until a room was available. Good thing we didn't need a shower.

Review 16:This hotel is clean, new and in a nice location close to the airport. The managers reception was good.

Review 17:We only stayed one night!

Review 18:Very clean and comfortable hotel. Love that we got a shuttle directly to the airport without any stops, unlike Marriott where they make multiple stops at multiple hotels. Yuk!

Review 19:I didn't have hot water in the bathroom. An engineer came right up to fix it, but then the water was too hot. Not a big deal overall.

Review 20:Everything was really nice and clean. Very nice, attentive staff.

Review 21:I only had occasion to stay one night

Review 22:Others try, Wooley's do. This was a perfect start to my trip, setting an impossibly great standard. I would highly recommend them and stay there again.

Review 23:Having to leave!!

Review 24:Friendly helpful staff/ family atmosphere & made you feel part of that family nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful & fresh. A very special thank you to Harold the security man & gorge the driver outstanding people thanks for all your help guys. Would definitely want to return

Review 25:The staff was A+ very friendly and helpful, especially since my flight was cancelled at 11:00 pm and I was desperate to find a hotel. Bed was super comfortable.

Review 26:nothing

Review 27:Very attentive staff, modern facility, free drinks and snacks at happy hour, very good bed, good shuttle service, large room, wish I was staying longer.

Review 28:Spacious, very clean, extremely comfortable bed, and a truly epic bathroom. The breakfast was good, and the manager's reception was, too. Obviously modelled on Embassy Suites, but with an old European feel.

Review 29:Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were VERY nice for the price, gym facilities and happy hour and breakfast were thoughtful perks.

Review 30:I would have preferred a location closer to the airport.

Review 31:The size of the room and bathroom were excellent and it was really clean. The breakfast was wonderful.

Review 32:We were only there one night, and did not experience any issues.

Review 33:Excellent stay. There was a free happy hour as well as a breakfast buffet. It is fairly new but everything was clean and tidy. Staff was amazing.

Review 34:I loved everything! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable! The bed was AMAZING! The happy hour and appetizers was great! The free breakfast in the morning was DELICIOUS! The Exec. VP Manager (from Orange County, CA) was very friendly and welcoming! I wanna fly to Denver 1x a month just to spend the night here! Please build in Austin TX!!!

Review 35:- Service is a bit weak - Bar & restaurant food is below standard

Review 36:- Bed & room - Free drinks during happy hour - Free breakfast - Free WIFI

Review 37:Nothing.

Review 38:Staff went above and beyond to assist in every way possible. Woolley's is among the best places to stay. I highly recomend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

Review 39:I had an early morning flight and my room was facing the restaurant so it was a little noisy as I was trying to get to sleep. I would have loved to spend more than a night in the hotel.

Review 40:The hotel and rooms were beautiful and comfortable.

Review 41:The room was very spacious, clean, elegantly decorated. The bathroom had a very spacious shower and dual sinks in the vanity. Bedding was luxurious. Breakfast was wonderful. Also enjoyed having a restaurant available for dinner. The VP of Operations added a very personal touch by mingling with customers and the servers had a very high customer service orientation. We would definitely stay here again. Never had a better experience. Our only regret is that we forgot to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff who serviced our room when we left. We only stayed one night.

Review 42:Very bad breakfast. There are only bacon, eggs, omolet and jogurt. I expect ham, cheese and crispy bread in 4 stars hotel.

Review 43:Very confortable hotel and helpfull staff

Review 44:Leaving.

Review 45:Everything. The room was spacious. The bathroom was ridiculously large and the bed was as comfortable as our own. Free parking for the airport on site with a shuttle and a real restaurant and hotel bar a few steps away.

Review 46:Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Facility is world class for what you'd expect in a family friendly hotel. Comp breakfast with omelette bar is delicious ! We will stay here again !

Review 47:Only, if the airport shuttle could on regular times, I learned later that the shuttle will not come to the Airport unless a call is placed to the hotel.

Review 48:I liked it all, it is a real luxury place.

Review 49:Nothing. A bathrobe in the room may have been good.

Review 50:Everything. Hard to find anything not to like. The classic suite rooms have a real wow factor when you arrive

Review 51:Only bad thing I can say you have a sign complementary water in the room and none there the whole visit.

Review 52:Staff was very helpful polite and went out of their way. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable most places don't have enough pillows. You guys have a lot and great comfortable ones. Free Breakfast was better then I expected, omelets made to order was great!!!!

Review 53:Most TVs in public areas were on sports events most of the time, it seemed. Not horrible, but there are people out there who like things other than sports. Like how about on Sunday morning having some "talking head" shows featured?

Review 54:Luxury at a good price.

Review 55:Housekeeping did not clean our room after our first night of a four day stay. House keeping did not replenish our free two bottles of water twice. Free breakfast was missing scrambled eggs , bacon and sausage. Wasn't that great either.

Review 56:All Staff was friendly, professional and responsive to our needs. Price is reasonable.

Review 57:The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were heavenly. These beds were voted the best beds ever by all family members! Front of house staff were friendly, welcoming and very kind.

Review 58:Liked everything about this hotel. Comfortable bed in a luxurious room. Friendly and helpful staff, in particular the lady serving at the bar and the driver of the coutesy van.

Review 59:My wife is 5'1" and the sinks were too high for easy use.

Review 60:We're used to double sinks in the bathroom and it was a real treat to have them in a hotel.

Review 61:The staff were amazing. Due to a heavy work schedule I left early and got back late so other than room service I didn't get to enjoy the hotel much. I asked for a masseuse and the front desk recommended Brigitte Haegdorens. She was impeccably professional, kind and one of the best massages I have ever had. I highly recommend you tell your guests of her service at the hotel.

Review 62:Loved the gym, pool, huge bathroom, excellent shuttle service and manager's happy hour. The light and plant filled atrium is beautiful, even more so for an "airport hotel." My 10 year old son said it was the best hotel he's ever stayed in, even though we've stayed at many nice hotels including Four Seasons resorts :)

Review 63:Nothing

Review 64:Comfort of the room -- the room was very spacious - the refrigerator and microwave were major pluses. The bathroom was huge -- great having two vanities. Location was a major factor -- not only was it close to the airport, but there were many restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. All of the staff we encountered were very customer-service oriented.

Review 65:No more rental car kiosk and not all staff members were particularly willing to go out pf their way. Most were great though

Review 66:Most staff was very helpful

Review 67:Not a bad experience, just a suggestion. We took the van to the airport. The van was very nice and the driver very helpful, but the van wasn't fully handicapped accessible. Since theere are many rooms in the hotel that are, we were surprised by this.

Review 68:The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, with employees who smile and treat their customers professionally and in a kind manner. We reserved a handicapped, wheelchair accessible room and we couldn't have been more pleased with our room.

Review 69:The room and bathroom were both huge. The finishes and decor were lovely. The shuttle to and fro from the airport was very prompt and drivers were great. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay at the Denver airport.

Review 70:The location of all the "airport hotels" is ridiculous. 10 miles from the airport is NOT an airport hotel - not that there is any other choice. Bad planning from Denver's authorities.

Review 71:Very comfortable room and facilities. Very nice food in the restaurant.

Review 72:Easy check in. Pleasant competent staff. Really lovely room with great facilities and shower/ bath. Swimming pool indoors. Restaurant served good good. Great happy hour too at 17:30!

Review 73:They made one bad mistake. We asked for a 5:00 am wake-up call, and they failed to deliver it. Fortunately for us, our backup phone alarms worked, or there could have been a missed flight. That was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. The service in the restaurant was slow, and the food a bit pricey.

Review 74:Lovely, comfortable public areas, spacious room with huge bathroom, including a big shower and bathtub next to each other. The beds were very comfortable. Responsive climate control, good WiFi reception. Good food in the restaurant. Great breakfast, noon checkout.

Review 75:Our balcony faced inward, so no view.

Review 76:Very comfortable bed and awesome bathroom. The separate deep tub and shower was great. The breakfast had a good variety and option for a fresh omelet with fresh vegetables. Good stay.

Review 77:Leaving!!!!!!!

Review 78:The beautiful bedroom and bathroom. The 5 star breakfast and wonderful staff. The free shuttle, good parking, eateries nearby, I could go on and on

Review 79:Staff could not find my reservation made with Booking.com on 7 March 2015, 90 days in advance despite me having an email confirmation from Booking.com. They did have rooms but charged me more than what my reservation would have been. Now I am afraid of being charged twice. Very frustrating and disconcerting. Happy Hour advertised "freshly baked appetizers". In addition to free drinks at the bar from 1730-1900 hours the appetizers were small pretzels with cheese and popcorn. Should have stayed at the Drury Inn and Suites at Stapleton just down the street.

Review 80:Clean, attractive, great bed and good night sleep. Good breakfast. Good service.

Review 81:The room was huge with solid furnishings, the bathroom was the largest I've seen in a hotel with two sinks a soaking tub, and a large shower. The complimentary happy hour and shuttle services were outstanding.

Review 82:Disrupted trip and all the major hotel chains were sold out. Lucky for us! We discovered Wooleys. This is a classic atrium style hotel complete with waterfalls and gardens. Lovely restaurant. Lovely bar. The rooms are huge. The bathrooms ginormous. The service from the staff was top notch.

Review 83:I would have preferred it if the hotel were located on Bora Bora in French Polynesia. But other than that, it was perfect.

Review 84:Most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The hotel uses Simmons black label high end matresses. They retail for $6000 each. The hotel service was also incredible. This is perhaps the best managed hotel in the USA.

Review 85:The staff at front desk were great and very helpful. The waitstaff in the restaurant were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were lovely, especially the bathrooms. We will stay every time we travel.

Review 86:The hotel was lovely, with the feeling of outdoor cafes and a little water feature that was very pretty. The room was eonderful! I will definitely come back!!

Review 87:Beautiful and spacious King room, very clean, great breakfast and happy hour. Coupons for beer and wine were a nice bonus. Also the lobby and dining areas were beautiful...loved the lush plants and waterscape.

Review 88:Beautiful hotel, peaceful atmosphere, free shuttle bus, great food/sumptious breakfast, friendly and accomodating staff from Housekeeping to Front Desk.

Review 89:Restaurant waitress was the slowest I've ever seen. There were only two other tables occupied .Sat 15 minutes before she showed up to take my order. Waited a half an hour for a cheeseburger.

Review 90:Everything but the restaurant waitress and cook.

Review 91:Man behind the bar blew us off when we tried to order food. He was preoccupied, kept saying he'd help us but never did. A small blip on an otherwise memorable stay. Thank you Pat and lanny newman

Review 92:Patient front desk and concierge

Review 93:Charlotte the general manager goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect! Our server Kimberly was a joy. Both made our stay very enjoyable!

Review 94:shuttle schedule to the airport

Review 95:the rooms are nice and clean- breakfast was great. Overall experience was great. Only con was the airport shuttle schedule was changed but not communicated to us. The staff accommodated by calling a driver to determine eta.

Review 96:My credit card was rejected, so I had to present a debit card for incidentals, which is problematic. Even though I assured them that they won't be any incidentals, and even offered a cash deposit, they swiped the card. I had very bad experience with this, having to fight with my bank to convince them that this was not a charge but rather a deposit.

Review 97:Virtually everything was excellent.

Review 98:This is a gorgeous hotel and well staffed. The room was very clean and the bed was divine! Happy hour brings free drinks and appetizers. I'll stay again.

Review 99:Did not have some wines available but that was hardly noticed given the selection of wines that were available

Review 100:Beautiful hotel. Unique touches in terms of guest relations and decor. Stand alone in the market

Review 101:Loved the beds! More comfortable than the one I have at home. The bathroom was huge, the breakfast delicious, and the staff friendly and accommodating.

Review 102:The distance from the airport, but fee shuttle Upon arrival to the airport, calling the hotel for shuttle pick-up,we were told to wait at the wrong place. After an hour, I called again, they apologized and were gracious enough to give us free dinner as a compensation, after we finally arrived

Review 103:The luxurious decor, the food, free "happy hour that included mixed drinks, the friendly staff, the proximity to some restaurants, like Uno's Pizza

Review 104:Nothing!

Review 105:The Woolley was an unexpected surprise. After leaving a less than desirable location (different establishment), we landed in paradise. I went from a zero to hero with my wife. Clean- friendly staff- worth every penny!! Thank you

Review 106:No place just to relax outside room. Were not allowed to sit in the atrium with a sandwich bought on the outside. We asked to go to our room.

Review 107:Staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 108:The safe in the room did not work. I did not need it so didn't report until check out.

Review 109:He bed was especially comfortable. The size of the room above average and very clean.

Review 110:love the atmosphere of the hotel.. Room was fantastic..Love love the bathroom, garden tub great! Bed and pillows so very comfortable..Recommending to my friends..Will be back!!

Review 111:Huge, luxurious and immaculate rooms for a great price. Plus a real breakfast for FREE (not Cheerios in styrofoam bowls like most budget hotels). Complimentary happy hour cocktails and a good restaurant with good prices. Nice little bar with big screen TVs too.

Review 112:This was our 3rd stay. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar were way under-staffed this evening, down by half the usual numbers. So, service was slow and food a bit on the lukewarm side by the time it was delivered to table. That's my only real complaint in 3 stays.

Review 113:Only thing I could say was we called the desk for towells to be sent to the room and they never came.. But it was kindof early so maybe that's why. But nothing bad to make me not come again.. Just something minor

Review 114:The fact that during happy hour there was free drinks and the rooms were super clean the bathroom was amazing, big and had the best shower and tub!! Just blown away!

Review 115:All of the staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms and especially marble bathrooms, are incredibly luxurious. We appreciated their openness to our little dog, and loved both the morning breakfast buffet and the evening happy hour. This was a wonderful "staycation" for us, and we'll definitely be back!

Review 116:Breakfast ran out of food and no clean tables. Customers standing in-line for omelette were "grazing" on the fruit - gross!

Review 117:Staff, cleanliness, decor, happy hour, etc.

Review 118:My wife's entree/ main course was poor, but overall, the food (including the breakfast) was to a good standard.

Review 119:Large well furnished bedroom with high specification marble bathroom. It was clear that no expense was spared when the hotel was built.

Review 120:Shower was a bit tepid.

Review 121:Great bedroom, quirkily furnished, great food t the bar. Loved the water feature and Koi carp in the atrium! Very different from the bland airport hotel experience.
