Review 1：Throw pilots on bed were nasty along with one of the towels in our room. Obvious cleanliness issues that needed to be fixed. Hotel did not address issue of noisy guest roaming hall and knocking on everyone's door than proceeding to get in a screaming match with whoever it was they were looking for. All this at 1230 am.

Review 6：Staff gave the hotel a small home town feel, very friendly. Staff kept breakfast out a little bit late when they knew we were still eating. Offered us the left over fresh fruit so that it didn't get thrown out

Review 7：We did not have a bad experience but would like to suggest that they pull the rug closer to the outside door. The floor was so wet from snow that I almost fell every time I came in from the slick tile. I noticed that the rug was pushed closer to the inside door but I think it would be better closer to the outside door so that guests do not slip on the wet floor.

Review 8：I came in early for my graduation from grad school. They let me check in despite my early arrival, so that I could get ready for the ceremony (and they were very accommodating.) I appreciated it more than I could say. The property was fairly priced, and very comfortable. The staff was great! They brought flowers into my room from my family, so that they were waiting for me after my graduation. They congratulated me, and were always friendly and smiling. The room was clean, conveniently located to UND, and had everything that we needed. I teach Customer Service and I think they excel at it. We will recommend this hotel to others.

Review 9：Our reservation was inaccurate. This resulted in mistakes in billing. Apparently, Booking.Com didn't let the hotel know how the reservation was modified after the initial reservation.

Review 14：They are extremely accommodating. Hot breakfast every day, someone tidies up your room each day and the pool area is very nice. The rooms have a microwave and a fridge...can't say enough nice things about this hotel. The directions off of their website took me down the opposite direction on 11th street from where I was and that was very unsettling since I was alone. Call for directions... Great place to stay

Review 15：Friendly staff, had a suite room size was good, great breakfast. My only comment would be pool is kind of small. Not a lot of kids swimming when we were there so it worked out fine but if hit a night with lots of kids it would be over capacity.

Review 16：The reception staff were very friendly accommodating. They let us know about the next day's breakfast and the opportunity to order pizza from them that evening. We were traveling with our young granddaughter and the motel was perfect.The pool was warm and had a small basketball hoop

Review 19：Your staff faculty is rude. Plain rude. I wouldn't recommend anybody to book at this hotel just for that one reason. Faculty is supposed to make the customers want to come back and stay and yours sucked. Flat out sucked. I was not impressed one bit.

Review 20：Mattress was too hard. Both of us had sore backs. Both nights we were there it sounded like a herd of elephants running back and forth and then jumping up and down. Call to the front desk did nothing.

Review 23：This is my favorite hotel in Grand Forks, by far. We selected this hotel based on other feedback I had seen on Booking.com and I will definitely come back. They have a large free movie selection guests can check out and watch in their rooms. (That is in addition to the check out system they have for table top games in their game area.) They had a great breakfast selection (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal). It was easy to go up and get what you wanted. Plus there was PLENTY of seating, so the breakfast area never felt crowded. The room was clean and neatly laid out. Staff was always very friendly and attentive. The location was great, across from the Alerus Center. After our stay, the hotel send an e-mail thanking us for choosing them and to let them know if we had any feedback. I have never stayed anywhere that was so focused on making their guests happy.

Review 33：The hotel was beautiful. There were many little details that made it above average. The room had little extras and was decorated beautifully. There was free laundry on our floor. There was a games room with board games and videos games on the main floor. There was a lot of seating room in the breakfast area. The furnishings in the lobby were very lovely. The hot tub wash huge and lit which was cool. The pool area had basketball hoops and balls.

Review 34：I am a lesbian woman who traveled with my partner. Initially when we checked in, staff were reluctant to give us a one bed suite, despite our reservation being for one king bed. Several times the staff suggested we take a suite with 2 queen beds instead. When we insisted on getting a one bed suite they eventually agreed, but again tried to give us a different suite than we reserved. They also complained that we booked through a third party site and told us not to do that in the future. Staff seemed surprised and confused when we asked for 2 extra shampoos and an extra pillow. While the hotel was new and the rooms were big, it was evident everything was cheaply made and it had an empty feeling to it.

When I questioned the staff regarding billing, he was very short and rude, my question was never answered. Also, when I asked if hotel would be able to give me change for $20 bill, staff Said "no", then turned and walked away Last and most disturbing, when coming back from supper, staff was standing outside my door leaning in close, he appeared to be listening to my family visit in the room. They were not speaking loudly. Staff should make guest comfortable not uncomfortable.

Review 49：The pool area was nice and clean. The kids thought the led lighting of the pool was cool. Breakfast was a notch above the usual for me because of the hot dishes-eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits n gravy. All in all it was a very pleasant stay for a decent price.

The magnifying mirror in the bathroom was a wonderful feature that is rarely seen in most hotels. The staff was very helpful and courteous and the breakfast offered a wide variety of foods including fresh strawberries and blueberries.

Hotel said we can't when booking with 3rd party. -Breakfast was the exact same thing for the 3 days we were there. -Pool was a little small (but kids still enjoyed it) & hot tub had mold on botom edges. -Not sure what they use to clean the pool water but both kids ended up in a really bad rash and refused to swim anymore.

Review 104：My husband stayed at the motel in Grand Forks for the first time on New Years Day. First, we were very pleased with the room rate. Then we were even more pleased with the free evening buffet. It was a cold day and we were so happy not to have to leave the motel to eat, The beef stew and biscuits were delicious. The morning buffet was equally tasty. Our room was clean and comfortable. I have been sharing our great experience with others. We will be back!

Review 105：The only thing we didn't like was that the breakfast was over at 9am on New Years Day which was disappointing! Also maybe set a time limit on the video games? there were kids on those things the whole day with other kids not able to play at all.

Our room was a good size and just had that homey feel to it! The hot tub was huge, which we used A LOT, but the pool was a little on the small size.
