Located less than 500 feet from the beach and river, Hotel Caretta was build using locally crafted woodwork and tiles. The rooms offer air conditioning and free Wi-Fi access.
Some of the rooms open onto a balcony and all come equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. They contain a private bathroom which is stocked with free toiletries and a hairdryer.
Guests can dine at one of the local restaurants within a 5-minute walk from the Caretta Hotel. Beach-side restaurants are less than 350 feet away. Packed lunches are available upon request.
There is a shared fridge in the halls. The hotel is a 15-minute drive to the kite-board schools and the beach.

Review 3：Would like to have seen a handrail going up the steps to the rooms - though you would very rarely see handrails in any Turkish accommodation. Breakfast is served from 8.30-11 - great if you have nothing planned with an early start - they would probably make arrangements for you if you wanted it earlier, worth asking.

Review 4：Located only 2 minutes from the beach, restaurants and bars. Staff were lovely and very helpful, with English spoken and understood. Good Turkish breakfast. Comfortable and clean room/bathroom. Wifi had very good reception everywhere in the hotel rooms and the outside seating area. Although there were no facilities as such, but you don't need them as everything is so close to the hotel. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again

Review 6：Hotel is comfortable and nicely furnished, with all the things and facilities you need. Staff is friendly, speaks English in a way you can go along with. Location of the hotel is splendid: very close to the see and public beach. It is on one of the main streets of the city (although city is quite small :) so you have shops and restaurants just at your door. City itself is very nice and calm, with very few foreign tourists - so it is very good place if this is what you are looking for. For the lazy people you have public beach which is ok, but you can also walk further and find beautiful and isolated places to swim and sunbathe. The whole bay is very beautiful, with azure see, shores full of pine trees, and high mountains above.

Review 7：Wi-Fi was not working properly at the end of the hall and the music played at the restaurant across the street may be annoying if you are sitting at the balcony.

Review 8：This was one of the best places we stayed during our trip. Everything was quite smooth and easy. Very clean, modern room with a very good location. Breakfast is served in a nearby cafe since there is no room for that in the hotel, but we enjoyed it a lot. Staff if very helpful about anything.

Review 10：The rooms were relatively big, clean and tidy. The hotel is just 50 meters from the beach and 100 meters from the river. The staff could speak English and were very nice. They offered a late check-out without additional costs. I would definitely go back

Review 11：I have two mid-sized dogs. They welcomed my dogs to our room. Definitely, dog-friendly establishment. Rooms are very clean. Although located in the centre, it was quite during the night. We had good sleep.

Review 24：All was good except one thing - paper-thin walls, through which you hear snooring of a neighbour. But it makes it different when in the morning there is no wake-up singing nearby. Overall, really enjoyed stay and visit to this charming village.

Review 25：Very charming little hotel in one of "slow-cities" of Turkey. Fantastic surroundings, very comfortable room, spotlessly clean, balcony to oversee the street, rich breakfast.

Review 26：However, there is no sufficient staff. And also, the location is very central so it can be noisy sometimes. We booked the attic room and there was a problem with the window. The room became bright early in the morning so it was impossible to sleep. They were handling the problem when we were there, so probably, there is no such a problem now.

Review 28：Unfortunately, because of the location of the hotel you may hear noise of the street in the middle of the night. But I suggest you to close the door/window and turn on the ac. Then you may have a good night sleep..

Review 29：The owner is very friendly and helpfull. Staff was the same. The place of the hotel was in the center of Akyaka so everywhere is in walking distance. The hotel is almost 3-4 years old hence everything is new and clean.

Review 32：Hotel Caretta was really a great place to stay. Our group was actually attending a conference in the neighboring town of Mugla - some 20 minutes away by car. Our stay was perfect. The hotel is small and affordable, and its management is very courteous, attentive, and friendly. I highly recommend this to anyone staying in Akyaka.
