Reviews for Argos In Cappadocia
Review 1:The restaurant food/ wine was good but expensive. Coffee very weak!
Review 2:It felt like we were staying in a traditional village..the rooms had all been built to keep in with the appearance of the local homes. The position was unbeatable. The service was fantastic.
Review 3:Overpriced without providing basics like A/C and TV! ( had to beg for AC!) No atmosphere- no personality due to the cool indifference of many of the staff. Female guest services manager had an unhelpful snobbish attitude. Over manicured surroundings had all the charm of a Marriott or Courtyard hotel. Seki Redtsurant way overpriced with mediocre food for dinner Inferior room - tiny with filthy rug that had to be removed . Live cockroaches found on bedding on two nights after turndown service.
Review 4:Great location, breakfast , friendly wait staff, pretty lounges- indoors and outside
Review 5:We loved the fascinating and peaceful landscape which our spacious and beautifully decorated terraced room overlooked! Special stafff was friendly and helpful!
Review 6:Very good hotel with nice view, nice people and quality service. The restaurant also has good view and highly recommend. The only thing not very good is that the cave room is kind of hot and dry.
Review 7:Cobblestone pathways and a lack of safety rails on steps and the like ... partner has mobility issues and found access to facilities a bit trying
Review 8:The location and surrounding environment
Review 9:Reception staff nice, but not efficient in giving information about excursion possibilities. The service of the restaurant staff is not adequate.
Review 10:Very nice decorated hotel with good location and atmosphere.
Review 11:shower heads badly placed; entry and room layout wasted space that could have been a sitting area
Review 12:public areas nice, dining areas lovely, staff great, views beautiful, amenities good
Review 13:None
Review 14:I didn't expect to stay in such a beautiful property . The views are breathtaking . The rooms is so unique and say beautiful from small things to big things the people are so friendly and always there to give you good service. I will go to Argos again in a heartbeat if time permits me
Review 15:MUST have air conditioning in the summer, it was 35 C and I couldn't sleep the whole night, even with 2 fans, that is the only problem with the hotel
Review 16:I LOVED the premises, beautiful gardens, location great, so relaxing! very helpful staff
Review 17:Nothing .. I loved the place highly recommend
Review 18:I loved this hotel! Rustic! True to the atmosphere of the area around it and so relaxing I opted to spend a day at the hotel instead of going on a tour just to be able to enjoy this unique place.
Review 19:Stayed in a deluxe cave room, very spacious with a beautiful bathroom. The view outside my room was amazing over Pigeon Valley to Goreme, excellent for early morning balloon watching!
Review 20:no air-condition. It will be a little mugginess at summer night. WiFi is weak
Review 21:almost all, nothing to complain!organic food!adorable stuff can handle everything!!
Review 22:This House is the best place to stay in Santorini. No doubt about it. You find everything organized for your comfortable feeling. Kiki and Tony are there for your 24hours. They arrange everything , tours, reservations at restaurants , car rental, pickup and drop off.. I mean everything! Just bring your lugagge and your opened spirit.
Review 23:Construction is going on side by side which makes it noisy and two cars were parked right outside entrance of our rooms. Need to improve breakfast.
Review 24:Property offers very good views of Cappadocia. Hotel is built on a historical site and management is doing a good job of preservation and restoration of the site. Very stylish interiors with use of natural materials.
Review 25:Absolutely stunning and charming hotel which takes you back thousands of years. They have their own underground city which is beautiful and the views from the property are great. A couple of disappointments were no air conditioning in the room so on a warm evening you can get quite uncomfortable. Also their wi-fi was pretty weak and choppy in our room.
Review 26:Absolutely the best boutique stay in the world. Unique cave property exquisitely designed for comfort and historical appeal. Incomparable service and attention to detail. The caring competent staff looked after every aspect of our stay in Cappadocia. The best food in Turkey. Amazing views from terraced property atop Uchisar. Treat yourself to the expereince of a lifetime. You will become part of the Argos family and want to return again and again...
Review 27:Nothing
Review 28:This hotel gets a 10 in every category. Location, service, people , food , clean. Can't say enough good things. The people that work here are the kindest and most pleasant people in the world. They make u feel like u r at home. They treat u like loyalty. The hotel website just does not say enough good things about their own property. Hotel is a historic site. Make sure u do the hotel tour. It's amazing . The daily buffet breakfast is the best quality food and service. The lounge area had a bar with snack and it has an amazing g view. It is the best place to hang out after your busy day to have a drink and enjoy the amazing view. The rooms are just gorgeous. The architect of this hotel and the interior designer should get the biggest award. The bathrooms are specious and clean. Just can't say enough about this hotel. Absolutely loves it. I highly recommend them!
Review 29:The staff was incredibly friendly, the location was unbelievable, and the rooms are amazing. The hotel does an excellent job providing luxury in a unique setting.
Review 30:The staff were absolutely friendly however, I would have appreciated it if the breakfast crew would also answer to female guests. They focused mainly on men and I felt neglected. I guess it's their culture.
Review 31:The hotel is amazing! The property and the landscape was breathtaking. All the beautiful details made this hotel and my stay so relaxing and beautiful. I will miss this place!
Review 32:Herşey! Kapadokya'ya gelip başka otelde kalmak yanlış olur. Başka otellerin bu otelden daha yüksek fiyatlandırılmasına kanıp daha mı iyi diye düşünmeyin! Argos in Cappadoccia herşeyiyle mükemmel!
Review 33:Not a thing
Review 34:The hotel was amazing - perfect views, excellent service from all the staff and the restaurant was delicious! We loved staying at the Argos in cappadocia and they have a cellar of 20k wine with private wine tasting. We have already recommended this hotel to all our friends.
Review 35:Cost of food / drinks way above average
Review 36:Friendly and attentive staff, comfortable rooms, free wifi with good coverage, pleasant breakfast, cosy lounge with fireplace
Review 37:How can anyone not like the Argos Hotel in Cappadoccia? Pictures don't do justice to this mesmerizing beauty. We had a time of our life because of the sheer beautiful valley the hotel presented to us. The staff is very helpful and they made our stay a worthwhile experience.
Review 38:It's a pity they don't have Hammam or sauna. There was no TV at all, but I didn't care, because Wifi was good enough. Unfortunately the designer shower in our bathroom was not appropriate to the human use. Every time after using a shower, there was a lake at the floor, there is just fixed rain shower, no any cristal wall, no hand shower. But in my dauther's room the shower was ok.
Review 39:The hotel is situated in the best place you could find in Cappadocia. The hotel buildings are the caves reconstructed for the modern use. The breakfast is rich enough.
Review 40:Not being able to stay longer
Review 41:The Staff were amazing! They were so helpful no matter what time it was, and what we needed. Argos was truly a dream place to stay and we were in awe from the moment we got there. Thank you to all the staff that made our time at Argos unforgettable!
Review 42:Loved everything about the place. The staff was awesome.. Upon learning that it was my birthday, they ensured that my every meal was extra special and the table was set elegantly every time.. The setting of the rooms and the hotel itself is wonderful...
Review 43:In our bedroom, the bathroom was located in a upper floor. Although this has to do with its particular location, it was not very practical and could be quite uncomfortable.
Review 44:We enjoyed the location and the wonderful views from everywhere. It's a villa more than a hotel. Decoration, music and views contribute to have the impression you are in a spa.
Review 45:if you didn't ask cave room specifically then you don't get it even though you paid for it. Our room for first night was not cave and it was too hot with no air conditioning!
Review 46:the staff is friendly and always try to be helpful and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner there are fantastic. views are fabulous
Review 47:The hotel turns a 2000-year old village with loads of history into a truly amazing place to stay in Cappadocia. We really enjoyed our stay here in Uchisar which is off the main tourist zone. It's so quite and people around are very friendly and kind to offer their helps! Our room is facing the Pigeon Valley with a private courtyard. It's a perfect place to enjoy your romantic night and watch the sunrise. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a memorable stay in Cappadocia!
Review 48:Too hot in the room
Review 49:Molton Brown cosmetics of big choice. Fantastic View from the restaurant.
Review 50:location, views, service, comfort, staff, attention to detail, food
Review 51:The view of the lounge is really fantastic at night.
Review 52:No bad experience.
Review 53:Excellent staff, excellent facilities.
Review 54:Some staffs are not nice
Review 55:The cave rooms and the view
Review 56:The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous rooms.
Review 57:We expected our room to be a little bigger
Review 58:Great decoration, excellent staff, best location in Cappadocia
Review 59:Very good throughout - staff were really good and friendly. Massage skills were exceptional - best in any hotel anywhere
Review 60:nothing
Review 61:everything is great, the location is perfect, the staffs are very professional.
Review 62:Staff was very kind to us and great service overall.
Review 63:It would have been nice if there was a resort pool given the hot weather.
Review 64:The whole place is amazing! The facilities and staff were incredible.
Review 65:Poor advice on a tour of the local area.
Review 66:Such a beautiful and relaxing place. Design, architecture and restoration were of the highest standard.
Review 67:No AC!! It's 35 degrees when we were there. Not able to sleep even with the fan on.
Review 68:Everything is perfect in this hotel
Review 69:best hotel of the town
Review 70:Amazing hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Didn't want to leave!
Review 71:the staff is very friendly and the management is very attuned to the natural and historic surroundings -- incredible experience

Review 77:faultless
Review 78:everything
Review 79:The service was excellent. Beautiful hotel with spectacular views
Review 80:Everything...
Review 81:staff friendliness, view from restaurant and lounge
Review 82:Everything, location, staff, breakfast, dinner. A must stay hotel in Cappadocia.
Review 83:Rooms without TV, quiteness, excellent service and food.
Review 84:All of the staff was helpful and pleasant with the exception of the staff manning the front desk. They seemed put-upon when my husband and I approached them with questions - the staff in the restaurant and everywhere else was great.
Review 85:My husband and I stayed three nights, in the most basic room that Argos has, and it was the best stay we had during our two week trip to Turkey. The bed is soft, the view is spectacular, the food was very good, the hotel tour, was interesting, the breakfast was fresh and wonderful.
Review 86:We had a suite and spent three days. -Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. -Front desk staff seemed to be tense all the time and not polite. They would say "Ofcourse" to request verbally only whilst body language and facial expressions would seem why the hell are you here again. My impression of Front desk staff was not positive. - Break fast was very basic - Food did not taste good at all, we only ate once at the restaurant.
Review 87:- Capadoccia was amazing. Argos location is perfect, serene, views are the best in the town. - Tour of the facility with the manager, she was very professional. -Ipod with excellent play list. - Support staff to clean room etc were diligent, although did not speak english.
Review 88:Seki restaurant especially for dinner was too bad and expensive, breakfast was good but not that good when you look at hotel price rates
Review 89:Rooms are great, great view, hotel and location was nice
Review 90:Having to leave after five days.
Review 91:The location was brilliant. The staff made us feel very welcome and in fact went out of their way to be helpful even bothering to learn our coffee and breakfast egg preferences! The hotel complex is incredible both in construction and concept.
Review 92:Liked it all.
Review 93:Stunning converted monastery. Wonderful accommodation, great restaurant, many areas to relax in. Staff all go out of their way to assist. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended.
Review 94:At first I pegged the lack of TV in the room a negative, but this was soon suppressed by the lounge area and many things to explore. WiFi was quite flaky though
Review 95:This hotel is truly one of a kind. It is really a small village with its own history and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The food is delicious, views spectacular, rooms prestigious, and visit surprisingly educational
Review 96:Great architectural, historical and natural experience we had in Argos. We learned a lot about history, architecture and geography. In addition, we had chance to taste wondeful wine and local meals. Argos staff was great helping us with all and faces smiling.
Review 97:Definitely, one of the most special resorts one could experience ever. Great, unique location, unmatched atmosphere and historical context... A special thanks, Guest Relations Manager Ms. Merve Uzel for her hospitality and positive energy..
Review 98:the room temperature control was not great, so it was a bit too warm in our room though the staff tried to adjust
Review 99:the ambiance was amazing, with every detail thoughtfully done. the location was great.
Review 100:The rooms need a television and the last day of stay is no different from the other days to leave the room undone!
Review 101:The location is unique. The restaurant excellent, The staff very kind and helpfull
Review 102:Restaurant - a la carte food served cold, in a cold room. Could have done with an even 'softer' pillow option. Breakfast at the table was rather poor compared to the buffer mornings (e.g., no fresh fruit!)
Review 103:The serenity this hotel radiates, and not just because of its location. Loved having the iPod in the room. Loved the homely rustic design choices and shared spaces to relax in. Enjoyed sitting by the open fire in the evenings.
Review 104:It can be a bit cold in the rooms.Spa proces are too much (2-3x the price you get at a luxury spa in the city) Food at the restaurant is not as good as it is advertised (though better than the food you can generally find in the region)
Review 105:Rooms are great with each having their own fireplace.Hotel is generally clean Staff is friendly Views are nice
Review 106:Sand kept falling from the ceiling on to the bed and into our clothes. The ceiling needs to be sealed so the sand won't fall.
Review 107:Great views and unique style of accomodations
Review 108:- No bath tub- For the stay in Winter, the radiator didn't work enough and room was too cold without a fireplace, but everytime to use fireplace we had to ask reception to send someone to put the fire on... (we tried by ourselves but didn't succeed) Too much of a bother. - Take a taxi from the airport (Nevshehir or Kaiseri) is toooo expensive, you must ask a shuttle to the hotel. For exemple, in my case, for coming to this hotel from Nevshehir by taxi took 120 liras for 20min. ride (much more expensive than in Istanbul or in Paris!), and for going back to the airport from the hotel by shuttle took only 17 liras per person!!! What the difference of this? I think at least the hotel should share this info in advance.
Review 109:We loved "Lounge", its atomosphere, confort and service weresimply excellent. It was really nice to relax with a glass of wine or acup of tea, seeing the rocks of Cappadocia...
Review 110:No minibus airport shuttle, only private transfers for 70 euro.Elaborated dishes, nice presented, but not tasty for a gourmet - this isa purely personal opinion!
Review 111:Location, staff, environment. Good breakfast and deserts. Relaxingatmosphere. No tv in the room - great!
Review 112:Mattresses a bit hard. Breakfast could be improved.
Review 113:One of the best hotels I stayed in Cappadocia. May be the best. TheLounge area with Fireplace, the rooms, and bath... All was superb. Allareas decorated with chic items. Seki Restaurant is also worth tovisit for its very delicious food and award winning extensive winemenu. Do not miss "veal cheeks" served with Turkish styleharicot beans.
Review 114:Everything was so perfect I found nothing to dislike
Review 115:The perfect combination between the beauty of the site and the beauty of the hotel, plenty of details of design and antiques, but always keeping the unique style of Capadocia The amazing views and the friendly personnel Amazing place to stay
Review 116:Everything about the hotel was amazing and excellent. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting cappodacia. Loved it :)
