Review 1：I would have appreciated a small working desk. Tre fridge was empty.

Review 4：This was the most upmarket set of stables we have stayed and eaten in! Vila Podvin used to be the stables for the mansion house and estate of Grad Podvin. Marcela is an amazing 'front of house' lady. She greeted us with a cold drink and then sat down with maps and brochures to share her knowledge of places to see in the area. As the restaurant is closed on Mondays, she was happy to recommend somewhere to eat. The food that Chef Uros prepares and cooks is something special. The waiters explained each course to us in perfect english and recommended wines to go with each course. Perfect. We have often been disappointed with gastronomic menus, but this was different. Each course was full of flavours to savour. Each course was also beautifully balanced. Our room was also very comfortable and the wifi very fast and reliable!

Review 6：Really good communication with Macella right up to arrival gave me confidence that this would be a special stay. It was. The area is lovely. Food was really excellent. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Review 9：We spent our first two nights in Slovenia at the Vila Podvin, on our way to Bled. The service in both the inn and restaurant is excellent -- a perfect blend of warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. The rooms are modest but clean and well-kept. The breakfast is bountiful, featuring a variety of fresh, local foods. The restaurant is outstanding. We ordered Chef Uros' four-course degustation and were so impressed with the food and the service that we changed our travel plans so that we could enjoy it again the following week. We'll return to Slovenia just to visit Vila Podvin again. Outstanding!

Review 13：We booked this hotel because of location and restaurant , we didn't want to drive far at night. Unfortunately on arrival at lunchtime we were told that the restaurant was closed that evening and also the following day ! We had heard such good things about this restaurant so were bitterly disappointed, the receptionist was very kind and brought us tea wine and nibbles to the room but we were still angry that we had not been told of this situation on booking ..be warned !

Review 14：Spacious room, lovely bathroom, staff very helpful. Weather awful during our stay so we didn't get to see much of the local area but the general area is very nice and Bled just 15 mins up the road
